Saturday, 24 May so funny you mention that.. coz after she was done with her crying she was all smiles and I said to her "so you're not mad at mummy for making you drop on the floor?" and she was herself again so I guess it was just momentary. I remember the first thing I did was check her head and it was still round no bumps or bleeds and i thot... wow i was lucky. But yeah.. it's amazing how many things can make u feel guilty as a mom... thanks for the msg spookywife -
Monday, 19 May Please don't turn your baby around in the car. The law is 1 year and 20 lbs, but they say to keep them rear facing as long as possible. The weight limit on our car seat for rear facing is 35 lbs. I will be keeping Ryder rear facing until then. Which he might not get 35 lbs til he is 4. So keep that in mind. Their little necks cannot handle a crash. I know that some states are going to change their laws soon too. If you need some more information check out carseat.org. SueUK -

Are you kidding me! She's already standing while holding something! Eli has NO interest in standing at all! He just wants to sit down or jump. I'm sure he will in his own time though. Terah -

She is so cute:) What a great picture! I love her dress!!!! It looks so nice and warm where you are. We have had a couple warm days, but I am ready for it to be nice every day! Anna has so many cute summer clothes and I want her to where them now! HA! littlecavalier -
Thursday, 1 May From everything I've read, babies that are exclusively breastfed don't need as much quantity wise as formula fed babies because breastmilk is a lot higher quality. There isn't any waste as it's specially formulated for exactly what your little one needs. As long as your daughter is gaining weight, which she looks perfect in that department, she is getting all that she needs nutrition wise. You're doing a great job! Junebug -
Tuesday, 26 Feb I close the curtains for naps, and I must admit that as soon as she wakes up during the night I bring her in bed with me and go back to sleep while shes nursing. With my other 2 kids I had no problem waking up in the middle of the night, but with her I am just so tired. I guess alot of that is that I have the other 2, lol. If you figure out this nap thing let me know! heather2 -
Friday, 22 Feb So glad to hear another mom is still mostly breastfeeding! We are too. Andy nurses about 6-7 times/day. He gets a tbsp of rice cereal or baby oatmeal 1-2 times/day and will eat about 1-2 tsp of a vegetable, but is not too fond of them. And yes, I am a bottomless pit! And it all must be going to milk production because my weight doesn't seem to change much. momoflincoln -

Thursday, 17 Jan Hi, I read recently that if your baby spits out the food than she might not be ready for solids yet as it's something to do with the tongue reflex. I breastfeed and have just started Samuel on solids at 6 months and he trys to spit out as he gets used to the spoon and then seems ok. Maybe it's a case of keep trying if you think Marilyn is ready for solids and still hungry after breast milk. She'll get the hang of it eventually. It's a tough time trying to figure out your baby isn't it? Good luck!
