JAGJAC - Monday, 16 June
Hi. Thanks so much for replying its great to know im not alone. Sounds like we are exactly the same. Im being checked at the hospital every 2 days at the mo. I had midwife out to my house today and she really scared me. My BP was 169/102 so she sent me straight in. She also said she wouldnt be suprised if they got him out in the next few days - so i was really scared. We got to the hospital and they did blood tests etc and all of that was fine so they are going to keep monitoring me. Back in again on wednesday. They did say that they want to get me to 37 weeks really, unless it gets really bad.

I feel really miserable too. My swelling used to go down but now i feel so fat and ugly all the time. Walking is really difficult, i only have one pain of shoes that fit not and i had to buy some hideous size 8 slippers but they are so comfy!!!

Please keep in contact - its good to have someone in the same situation to moan too!!!

Jenn x

I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy and your delivery...i'll keep you in my prayers! God Bless!

I've been meaning to take pictures of my feet. The only thing I can wear are flip flops. My feet have been swolling for a few months I can't even recall what "normal" feet look like. Either way your going to get a c-section so might as well take the elective and avoid a further spike in pressure causing distress to the little one.

buddysmom - Monday, 16 June
I'm hanging in.. how about you? How are things with the bedrest and blood pressure? I hope you are ok. Are they going to induce you soon? I am having so much pain and am so uncomfortable. Part of me wants hubby to get more done around the house and a bigger part of me wants this baby out!! I have an appt tomorrow and cannot wait to talk to the dr about everything.

softkitty - Monday, 16 June
lol @ intestinally challenged. I wasn't worried about it, a part of me is hoping that it's a sign that the end is near. How are you doing other wise? Has your BP stabilized? At 29wks they found protein in my urine and my pressure was 144/87. After that incident my pressure went back to normal and I haven't heard of any more protein in my urine.

I will be praying for you sweetgirl.

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Monday, 16 June
just sent a small prayer for you. god gives you his peace. Not as the world gives. his peace passes all understanding. so rest assured you will sail through.

sugarcubesandcottoncandy - Monday, 16 June
hey. God know how to take care of you and the little angel he is blessing you with. he knows how to clothe the lilies and feed the sparrows. and you dear are precious to him. so trust in his strength to take you through this and when it seems tough to relax, ask him to bless you with the strength it takes to relax as well.

you remain in my prayers.

Love
Gayathri

hello, i am from week 36...but i jump around between 35 and 37 because my belly and baby always measure something diffferent at every appointment lol! anyway, i was just going to ask you about your pre-e...do you go for non stress tests every week? my docs have suspected i have pre-e for awhile now but i am just starting nst this week. just wondering what ur experience with it has been like. thanks:)

softkitty - Monday, 16 June
As of late I have also noticed an up in bowel movements. Do you think it means something? I'll ask my dr on Tuesday.

amandag7 - Saturday, 14 June
I am also experiencing more bowel movements, yes. Just within the last week or two.

queenbee - Thursday, 12 June
I am still preggo, but have to take meds every 4 hrs to control my bp and preterm labor. The med sucks, it makes me feel like I doused my skin with gasoline, and is on fire! The swelling has went down, but does flame up if I'm on my feet for more than two hours. I also was told I have gest. diabetes, so I have been on a diabetic diet, which actually has helped alot with the swelling, and water retention. I have only gained 6 lbs total, since starting the diet I lost 7 lbs at the beginning! How are you doing? I have managed to control it so far from 26 wks, but they keep checking my urine for protein just in case!

sabrinah - Monday, 9 June
yeah so far i have been doing pretty good!
when i found out i had it with my lil boy i only stayed pregnant 5 days after i found out! it was so bad! i had bp 199/144 went blind almost couldnt even walk anymore! thats why im a lil scared about it this time i dont want to have to do all that again!
but they are not going to induce me i have to have a repeat c-section and they told me that i would more than likley have to have her early! my bp was already 144/ 95 hopefully when i go back its down! buyt i have to go tomar and get a u/s to see how big that she is cause they said that sometimes when u have it babies dont growlike they should! but good luck with everything pls keep me informed on how u and the baby is!

mlv - Sunday, 8 June
Hello! I am doind pretty well. You are so swollen, poor thing, you must be really uncomfortable :( I am just having alot of trouble sleeping. you mentioned about inducing... will it be earlier than July 15th? is it b/c of the toxemia (sp?)

babygal187 - Saturday, 7 June
I'm not finding it harder and harder to breath the further I get along also.
I also got from not going #2 for a while to having the runs for a bout a day straight. I guess my body just cleaning itself out. I would call your doctor about the blood though. I don't think you have to be straining with constipation to have hemorrhoids, but you could be dehydrated or something else.

buddysmom - Friday, 6 June
Hey, I am doing better today. It was just a few different and weird symptoms last night. I didn't think much of it as I wasn't contracting in a regular pattern or anything. It did give hubby a scare!! At least he finished my hospital bag so we are ready now. I think baby boy just dropped. It was a shapr pain in cervix down through vagina. Plus I had a lot of pressure and some cramping. I am a little crampy today but not the same vaginal pain. I will be on modified bedrest too. It is so boring. I don't know how you have gotten through it thus far. Have you got your hospital bag or nursery ready? I hope your hubby is helping! I am sorry you are miserable. Just a few more weeks tops!! At least then our bodies won't hurt so much. It will be hard in a completely different way. Are you getting excited. nervous? I have an appt tues as well. I have the strep b test and I am going to ask them to check me. I want to know if he did really drop and if I am dilated or anything. I hate not knowing! I hope your appt goes well!! Keep me posted. Well wishes to you and baby boy!

2mommy2 - Friday, 6 June
I get the same things I think its hemorroids and I am not constipated either. They hurt for like two days and are gone. I learned that if i take a few hot baths or put cold ice and sit on it they go away really fast. I wish you luck I will be asking my doctor about it Tuesday so if i find out anything I will be sure to let you know!

tracylouella - Friday, 6 June
You don't need to have hemmrhoids to be contipated or vise versa. You can get them from strainingyes, but you can get them many other ways... even sitting on a cold step! There are two types of them, ones that are inside which are very common and not painful... but there could be blood. There are outer ones which hurt like a mother fucker which Im sure you know about which you would KNOW you had and you woulf feel when you wiped. And you wouldnt even be able to sit down. Just make sure that the blood is coming from your anus and NOT inside your poop! Good luck! Any questions feel free to ask !

buddysmom - Wednesday, 4 June
How are you doing? I am so sorry it has been a struggle for you recently. I have been getting more stretch marks too. I went a good 25 weeks at least with none. I now have them on my hips and one on he front of my belly. i have a feeling more are going to pop up as I pop out. I am supposed to go on a little more bedrest soon because of my back problems. I push it a little too much. I have been trying to finish up my work on the nursery so that I can stay in bed the last few weeks. I can't imagine how boring it will be. I am trying to prepare and get some books or magazines or something to keep me busy. I am glad to hear that your baby boy is still in your tummy. I know a lot of us would love to be done with pregnancy now but it is definitely better if he can stay in there a few weeks longer. I am thinking about you and Sebastian.

MooMommy - Wednesday, 4 June
Oh no!! I hope that yuor BH are better this week and that your cold is clearing up. I couldn't imagine being this pregnant and sick as well!! I know it can be frustrating but take advantage of this semi bed rest now...just think of how run ragged you'll be once the little one is here!! Yuo'll be dying for a day to lounge around in bed!! lol Will your doctor at least let you take short walks perhaps to sit out in the nice weather at the park???

I'm doing fairly well. Only 7 more work days left (THANK GOD!) It is getting so tough to do even the simplest things (like put one foot in front of the other lol!!) I'm just so tired and can't wait to be able to rest a bit more so I can get the energy to finish all the stuff that needs to be done!! My belly is now HUGE!! I'm so scared he's going to be a super sized baby....epidural all the way for me!! Although I actually had a great dream the other night. I dreamed I gave birth and it wasn't bad...quite wuick and not as painful as I imagined..all I remember is asking Did I have an epidural?? and everyone said NO! Then I saw him and he was soooo cute and I was sooo happy....it was a great dream!!

How's you?

seashell0123 - Wednesday, 4 June
I hear ya on the stretch marks. I've been religiously putting Palmers lotion AND oil on my belly. Just last week, a really small one popped up. Hopefully it doesn't grow into more larger ones =( Good luck and lots of baby dust to you =)

buddysmom - Thursday, 29 May
I am really glad to hear that you are doing even a little better. I am sure it is hard to relax but that is probably whats best for you. It doesn't sound like there is much else you can do. Chip had a great weekend. He definitely enjoyed being with the boys and letting loose. I was jealous all weekend but I also realized that it was good for him. Our lives will be changing so much soon and he won't be able to do stuff like that. I got a lot done around my house too which made me really happy. I was proud that I paced it and didn't hurt myself by overdoing it. I get carried away with how much I can actually do and sometimes pay the consequences. I washed all the baby clothes and linens and organized it. I was overwhelmed just thinking about it before I did it. I am soo relieved now that it is done. One step closer to being ready for him to be here. I hate insurance companies! If someone needs something for the health of their baby it shouldn't cost so much, you know? What do people do that absolutely cannot afford it? It's not fair. I feel like my little man is a big man now too. It seems like he has grown a foot in the last 2 weeks. He can reach much higher and lower in my body. His movements are so much stronger too. I still enjoy feeling him even though it has gotten quite uncomfortable at times. That sucks having a cold on top of everything too. Poor you, you must be miserable. I hope it clears up soon! You don't htink its allergies maybe? I live in Va and it has been bad here for anybody with slight outdoor allergies. I sometimes wonder how I will make it another 4-7 weeks too. I fear that I will go full term. I am hoping to pop around 38 weeks. I hate being so out of control of everything though. I am a control freak and I can't do anything about it. Thats been a hard part of pregnancy. This little boy in my belly controls my LIFE! I was more scared of L&D but then I started thinking.. He HAS to come out. One way or the other. I try not to worry because it is inevitable. I am DEFINITELY getting an epidural too. Since I have had back surgeries in the past they are worried that it may not work well. THAT is my greatest fear. We are going to try that first though. My back always hurts (even before pregnancy) because I have degenerative disc disease but I do try to sleep with a pregnancy pillow. It does help a little. I feel too like it will only get worse until they are out. Can you imagine how GOOD it will feel on the body once they are out though? We just need to be strong these last few weeks. You keep me posted as well. I have my shower this Sat and I am so excited. I will update my photos of the nursery as I work on it too. I wish you and your baby boy well!
