I just found out that I'm pregnant with my 3rd child. It was quite a suprise!!! I was 3 days late (period)and I was having some symptoms but thought to

my self Naa it can't be. So while camping with my twin sister and her kids this past tuesday I decided just to test for the heck of it. So I tested while my kids were swimming at the beach, I had to use the outhouse which was a horrible experience, I won't go into that! lol After taking the test, I immediatly put it in my purse so my kids wouldnt see . Once i got down to the beach I pulled it out in front of my sister and there it was 2 LINES!!! I was so afraid what my husband might say, so I had my sister call him. He was excited!! He was a little mad at me for not calling but understood. I have a 12 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. We have not told them yet. We want to wait until after we have a few

appointments, they wont have to wait long. My first appointment is Aug 8th. We have already been thinking of names and hoping for a boy!!

No morning sickness yet!! I had it bad with my first 2, it was so bad at times. I hope it never comes. The only real symptoms I've been having are really sore boobies and some cramping here and there. My appointment is fast approaching I can hardly wait, we've been keeping things quiet, not letting very many people in on our little secret. If everything looks good on Wednesday ( my first appt.) we are gonna tell the kids. I can't wait to see their reactions!!

Had my first ultrasound today. My doctor was off with his guess of me being close to 10 weeks. I'm right on target with my last period. I took my 9 and

12 year old with me. Even though it looked like a blurry little alien, they loved it and were so excited. We got to see the little flutter of its heartbeat and also got to hear it. It was pretty fast, I didnt ask the rate.

Nothing new going on around here. I've been having some sickenss. Only have vomited twice once in the morning once at night, but feel queasy through out the day. I am sooo tired all the time now too. I try to take naps or I'm in bed by 9:30-10:00 each night. I feel I'm becoming lazy lol. I don't wanna lay around, cuz then I'll gain too much weight and struggle to get it off after the baby is born. I'm also starting to dread labor, I've been through it twice so you think I would be calm about it. My previous births have been with no drugs what so

ever. They were both pretty quick too. Lacey was born 2 hours after I got to the hospital and Marcus was born 2 1/2 half hours after I arrived. This time I think I'm gonna go for the epidural but I've heard it can cause some pretty painful headaches afterward. Hmm Headache or Labor Pains??? What shall I choose....... My husband wants me to breastfeed. I have no problem with breastmilk but when I think of my boobs I think of them as HIS. I know I'm wierd. I just don't feel comfy about it. I think of them as sexual I guess. Am I the only one who feels this way?? Both my kids were Formula fed, and they seem fine. I guess I can try and use a pump and bottle feed with it, is that possible? But then I'm thinking the hospital will probly try to have the baby latch on when it's born, and I don't want that. Decisions Decisions!!!!

I have went up a full cup size!!!! Just wish they didn't hurt :0). The tenderness has gotten much more noticable this past week. I wake up and as soon as i sit on the edge of my bed PAIN!! They are sooo heavy. I'm gonna go get me a few sports bras this weekend when I finish school clothes shopping with my daughter. Hopefully this will help hold them tight :0). I am still feeling ill throughout the day, I occasionally (sp) get dry heaves, I hate that, i'd rather actually vomit, I'd alteast get some relief. I've found that toast and frequent small meals help to settle my stomach. My hubby is so cute, he has started talking to my belly before he leaves for work. Then gives me a kiss and then my belly a kiss. My 9 year old son is the same way, he always asks how the baby looks this week and how its growing. My daughter is less interested. I thought it would be the opposite. She's almost 13 so she has her friends etc. and thinks of nothing else. Below is a pic taken yesterday (9wks 4 days).

We have started looking to buy a new house. The one we currently own is just way to small! The housing market for sellers sucks right now in Michigan so we might have to rent this one out while its for sale, I couldn't imagine paying 2 mortgages. Our realtor has sent us about 20 homes by email to look at, we've drove by most of them and have narrowed it down to 5 we really like and would like to take a look at inside. Hopefully we will celebrate Christmas in our new home!

I had my 3rd appointment today. I gained another half pound. My uterus is right below my belly button (where it should be at this time). I had 2 student Doctors come in the room first, they tried to hear the babies heartbeat, but couldn't find it. They were searching way up by my belly button :) They (2 girls) were really nice and my age (28) it was kinda funny watching them. I must of been one of their first patients, they kinda seemed uncomfy talking to me, more like akward. They kept looking at eachother while they were talking, like they were getting eachothers approval. We all kept laughing... They gotta learn sometime I guess...hehehe I didn't mind. So after they couldn't find the heartbeat they said well lets go get the expert. They went and got my doctor. He came in and said no wonder why you can't find it, the baby is usually just above the pubic bone at 14 weeks! So he put the doppler on and I couldn't hear a thing, just some faint noise here and there. Then he said there it moved.. He looked at me after about 10 minutes of pushing the probe around on my tummy and said I can hear it, but I'm trained to hear the faintest noise, I wanna set your mind at ease. Lets go in the other room and do a quick ultrasound. There was a lady waiting to get hers done so they asked if she would leave the room for 5 minutes. We went in and he put the probe on my tummy and there it was the baby on screen with its little heart beating away. He showed me the heartbeat, then then head it was about the size of a large grape. (too cute) then he showed me the side view of the baby then back to the heart again. He just kept saying I want you to see the heart is beating lol. I seen its little hands up by its head (it was a view from above) they just looked like 2 little blobs. I was glad I got to see it.

I go back in 2 weeks for my triple screen test, then on Halloween for my normal Prenatal visit! He said I will get another ultrasound at about 20 weeks.......so the waiting begins!!!!

I have been thinking about breastfeeding. If I should or shouldn't. I decided that since I feel akward "breast" feeding, I will exclusively express breastmilk and bottle feed. I have a great sister in law who is letting me use her breast pump. It is a Medela Pump In Style Advanced. All I will have to get are the attachments for my breast size. This way If it dosen't work out for me I can just send it back to her, and not waste money. I know its gonna be hard work and I will need lots of information etc. Luckily I found an express milk only message board, there are a lot of women that are doing the same thing. Wish me luck, when the time finally comes lol!

I've been feeling the baby move, its kinda like a rippling feeling, or waves. It's hard to describe. I still feel it tighten up on my right side. It hurts when I get up fast or lay flat on my back so I try to avoid that. Things seem to be going smoothly :)

I can't wait to go to my next appointment on the 31st my 9 year old son will be with me, so I'm excited. :)

I have been having alot of baby dreams... I've had one baby boy dream, I knew it was a boy but never actually seen the baby. Then I've had 2 girl dreams. Lastnight I had a dream that I was over at a friends house, she had a Sonogram Machine and apparently so did I but I didn't have the probe part (that goes on your belly). So I stole the probe and took it home to use. Lol I did a quick ultrasound on myself, but it wasent like a 4d or 2d ultrasound it was like i stuck it inside myself and could see the baby as if it were outside my body. It turned out to be a girl and I even seen her little girl parts lol. I then returned the probe and felt guilty for stealing it. My friend hated me and never spoke to me again lmfao, dreams are so wierd aren't they!

So I'm wondering if I'm having a girl , I thought boy at first but I've been feeling alot of girl vibes :) I guess I will have to wait and see when I have my 20 week ultrasound......

Finally people are noticing that I am pregnant. I had a lady at the grocery store say awww your expecting a new little one (she's a cashier and see's me all the time). She asked if I knew what I was having and how far along I was. She told me if I had a girl she has tons of clothes to give me lol. We went to the Cider Mill today and we walked around forever it seemed. The baby didn't seem to like it much. My tummy was tight the whole time lol. I had to sit and rest :)

I also have started having alot of lower back pain, its more at the top of both buttcheeks. It hurts so badly. If I relax for a while it goes away. It usually only hurts if I stand or walk for a long period of time.

I've been feeling the baby move a ton! I especially feel it when I'm on the computer sitting with my legs crossed. It kicks :)

My belly button is starting to pop out hehehe. I have an appointment tomorrow. I'm hoping they have an easier time finding the heartbeat. I've been feeling great! Nothing really to complain about.

I had my appointment today. As soon as he put the dopplar on my tummy there it was the heartbeat. I was so happy, last time was hard. My son was with me and my doctor was great with him! My quad test came back normal. I'm so happy about that, I was worried from reading everyones false positive stories. I now weigh 138.2 so I've gained about 8 pounds so far. I am measuring right on target also. My 20 week ultrasound is NOVEMBER 6TH!!! I can't wait. I'm not sure if I've written this previously but when I go to my sonogram I am gonna tell the tech to look for the sex but to write it down on a piece of paper. My husband can't be there or my kids. So what we decided is that we will all find out together. We are gonna have our 2 kids tell us. Exciting!! They can't wait. I am gonna video tape it. I know its gonna be hard for them to keep a poker face when they open the envelope because one wants a girl and the other wants a boy so I know one of them will jump for joy before they can get the words out. We will know just by that lol....

I've been feeling the baby move alot more now. It seems to be active around 7:30 am, lunch time and then around 8:30pm each day.

***UPDATE*** My husband gets to go with me Hooray! We are still gonna have them write it on a piece of paper so our kids are included! :)

Today's the big day! I have my ultrasound at 2. It can't get here soon enough!!!!!! I haven't been sleeping at night the last 4 days. I've been stressing out about this ultrasound. I watch alot of baby shows and I keep dreaming something is gonna be wrong with my baby. I've had a dream it had a cleft palet (sp), spina bifida, T18, I had twins and they died during my ultrasound. These dreams are driving me crazy. lol

I know things will be alright my mind just wonders too much.

I put some candy in my purse to eat while I am waiting to get my ultrasound. I don't want it to move around to much where they wont be able to get all the measurments but I want it to move around enough to find out if its a boy or a girl. My husband is scared, he really wants a boy and he said I'm afraid its gonna be a girl. I guess we will know in about 6 hours!!!!! I will update later today.

** UPDATE**

We didnt get in for an hour to see the tech. That was a long wait.
Joey (hubby) was so excited. He didn't realize how big the baby was going to be. The tech was very nice and showed us everything and explained it to us. She started at the head and showed us the brain, then the 4 chambers of the heart, kidneys, stomach and bladder. Showed us all the fluid around the baby and umbilical cord and switched it to show us the blood flow and that was normal. The baby kept opening and closing its mouth. That was amazing. . Then she showed us the face, at first we couldnt see it to well because the baby had its hand right in front of it. So she took the probe and pushed down on my tummy and pulled its hand out of the way. Then we seen it :) The baby then did a summersault and was standing on its head at one point lol. She took the probe and pushed it over to look in between the legs. She said do you wanna know what it is? We said YES. She said what are you hoping for? We said a boy and she said Well I think you got your wish. She showed us the scrotum and the penis. She called it a turtle head lol. He weighs 10oz :)

Had an appointment today. I now weigh 142 lbs UGHH!! I have gained about 10 pounds so far. Measured my belly and I am measuring 24 so a little big :) I go Dec 18th for my Glucose testing. Nothing really new going on around here.

Things have been really nutty around here these days. Dec 4th my 9 year old doggie died and 3 days later my father in law died of colon cancer. Its been rough to say the least.

We finally put up our xmas tree yesterday morning, we put it off a few days due to everything. It's a great tree :) it's 8 foot tall and we only paid 25 bucks!!! It smells so good :) We got tons of snow last night. Atleast 9 inches, the kids are loving it... I've been feeling great, just getting big! I have noticed its getting harder to breath and get up off the couch hehehe. Only 3 months to go.

I had my glucose test today, It wasen't as bad as I remember it. I had the orange flavor and I think it tasted alright. I now weight 146lbs and my belly is measuring 27 so still a tad bit bigger than my actual date :)

Today is my daughter Lacey's 13th birthday! I can't believe I'm a mother of a teenager :) We had a suprise party for her on Friday. She had no Idea!

It's getting alot harder for me to sleep these days, the baby is constantly moving at night and waking me up. I can't seem to get comfy anymore. My belly is getting so big :)

I put a walkie talking on my tummy tonight to show my hubby how much he kicks. He was amazed. I showed my son and his mouth dropped open, the baby stopped kicking by time my daughter came to look. She'll get to see it another time :)

Yay, tomorrow I will be 28 weeks :) Time seems to be flying by these days. I am feeling great! I don't sleep much at night so I have to take a nap after I get my kids off to school. I can't sleep on one side for very long, I wake up and have to change position. Lastnight I think I slept a total of 2 hours. I've finally got all my shower invites filled out. I'm sending them out on Monday after all the maps are printed out. My husbands Aunts want to help out, so this saves my sister, katie (my friend) and I some money. All his aunts want to bring food, thats fine with me! My shower is set for February 9th and I can't wait. I've gotten rid of all the unnessesary items off my registry. My current house is just way to small, after we move (hopefully by summer) I will get the rest of the big Items. Although I can always just put the bigger stuff in the garage. Hmmm this sounds like a good idea :). Here is a picture of myself that I took today.

I have been having a lot of pressure down below. I can't seem to pinpoint where exactly its at. It feels like my pelvis. It hurts to spread my legs open wide, sit for a long time and hurts if I get up from laying down. Maybe its my muscles, all I know is that it really hurts. I'm not walking to well :) (maybe its from walking around stores alot yesterday)Other than that I feel great. I slept pretty well lastnight finally. I went to target yesterday to look at some things for the baby, they were having a baby sale. They don't have much of a selection so I went to meijer. They had things 50% off and I still didnt find anything I like. It was all mostly woodland winnie the pooh. We are doing a baseball/sports theme. Looking forward to my next appointment. Its on the 16th, then I'm pretty sure I will start going every 2 weeks. I can't believe I have only 12 weeks to go!

January 16 2008 (29 weeks 4 days)

I had my appointment today. I weight 150 pounds YIKES!! I've gained about 20 pounds so far and I still have more to go :( I hope it drops off fast because I'm a bridemaid in my sisters wedding 4 months after birth :). I am measuring 30 and 1/2 so still a tad bit big. I asked about the pelvic pain and pressure ive been having and the dotctor said that its just getting ready for birth and I may even experience a grinding sensation. Hope not. Everything looked good, found baby's heartrate and he kept moving all around so they had to chace him around my belly lol. Hmm what else. Oh I passed my glucose screening I got a 72 what ever that means :) Apparently its good hehehe.

My shower is coming soon, so I've been stressing out a little bit. Just trying to get everything together and figure out favor and prize ideas. I'm gonna go buy most of the decorations and stuff on tuesday. Hopefully I find some deals :).

January 20 2008 (30 weeks 1 day)

I had to make a trip to L&D lastnight. I started having lower right side back pain the night before about 9 pm. I couldn't sleep and it was a constant pain. Then lastnight while eating dinner it started to get worse so my husband and I decided to go find out what it was. We arrived around 7pm. We went to the ER enterance and they had someone from the L&D floor come down and get me. They had me give them a urine sample and then I got undressed and they hooked me up to the monitors. I laid there and my husband and I were watching the monitor and the babies heartbeat was 157 and would go up as high as 170 at times. The other number would go from 10 to 30. I laid there about 20 minutes and the doctor came in and said I need to hook you up to an IV and start fluids because you are having contractions. My husbands eyes about popped out of his head, he was a little freaked out. The doctor said he also wanted to give me a Fetal-Fibronectin-Test- which would give him an idea if I would be delievering with in 2 weeks or not. Its basicly like a pap type test where they take a swab of your vaginal secretions. He also wanted to check my cervix. So he did the FFT test and then went on to the pelvic exam, geez was he rough. It hurt pretty badly. He felt around in there for a minute and said I was a fingertip dilated but was still thick and babies head was still at -3. When he told me that I started to freak out a bit. But he reassured me I could stay this way for weeks. My urine came back saying i had a minor UTI and they wanted to give me antibiotics through my IV. I was still contracting after the fluids so they decided to give me a Terbutaline shot to try and stop them. After about 3 minutes I started to shake uncontrollably. My husband was amazed, he asked the nurse if it was the medicine making me do it and she said Yes and that she was happy I started to shake so fast because sometimes they have to give 2 doses if you don't start to shake. Wierd I know. So after that my contractions really slowed down. I went to the bathroom and came back they hooked me back up to the monitors. after that I only had a few small contractions and they decided i could go home. The fft test came back negative so thats a relief. They told me to take it easy and to slow down. My husband wont let me do anything, I don't like it. I don't like to be babied :) They gave me a prescription for Keflex to take for 7 days.

I'm glad they were able to get things stopped, I want my little man to stay inside and bake a little while longer :) My husband kept saying we're not ready for him yet, he can't come yet. Then he would say although I would like to see him and hold him. I got a little emotional and didn't talk for a while after they told me i was dialated, I didn't cry but I could feel it sitting there waiting lol.

Things are going good around here these days :) I've been a bit more tired than usual. I take small naps in the afternoon and try to stay up later at night so I can sleep through the night. I haven't been waking up as much thank god :) My legs have been bothering me more though (restless legs). I am planning on having a 3D/4D ultrasound done next week. I hope my Doctor gives concent I know some don't just incase there is an abnormality found. I really hope I get to have one though, my husband is dying to see him.

My shower is a little over a week away, I'm excited about that too. My sister still have to get a few things but overall everything is set up. I just hope everyone comes. My husbands Aunts have all been helping out, they are each bringing a dish or a beverage so I hope it's not wasted. My kids and I are making lollipops this weekend for "favors" I'm looking forward to that. We made candle favors last weekend, they are really cute. We took White tulle wrapped it around a white votive candle, tied it with blue ribbon and little blue baby charms. It also has a poem that reads......"Here is a candle for you to light once the stork makes it's flight, with the flicker of the flame please say a prayer in baby's name"

We are also making foot and onsie shaped sugar cookies and also have baby bottles filled with pacifier candies they have a lable on them that says Whitney's Baby shower and the date. We just have to get a few more prizes for the games we are going to play. I hope all goes well!!!!!

I had my 3d/4d ultrasound today. It was really cool. The baby is head down and facing my spine but we were still able to get some profile shots of his face. He is definatly a boy! He was sucking on his toes and his hands. We thought he would never move them, but with about 10 mins left in our appt he finally moved them good enough :) I'm not sure who he looks like. He has some chubby cheeks too. We got 5 thermal printouts, 1 2d printout, a cd with 33 photo's and a dvd with 3d images and 4d video. All for $139.00. I thought that was a pretty good deal. Now I can't wait to see him and hold him!!!

Feb 11, 2007 (33 Weeks 2 Days)

I had my Shower on Saturday. Only a hand full of people didn't show. I got tons of stuff. I still need to get a play pen and a stroller a few more pair of baby socks, bath stuff ( you would think I would of gotten tons of that) but other than that I'm set. My sister Brandi is bringing me up a bassinet, highchair, bouncy chair and swing when she comes to visit from Florida next month so I didn't even bother registering for them. It's starting to feel more real now.

Labor has been on my mind alot. Still not sure if I'm gonna get the Epidural or not. I think if I do it will be a last minute decision. I've have 2 natural without pain medication so I don't see why I can't do it again. I packed the baby a diaper bag with his clothes he will be coming home from the hospital in. I just gotta do mine now. I've been feeling great, not as tired anymore and I have loads of energy. The baby dosen't kick as much anymore but moves tons. Sometimes it feels like he is playing with my cervix :( not the greatest feeling in the world. My hands and legs have started to swell, had to take off my wedding rings. My skin is very red and irritated where my rings were. When I take off my socks I have a deep ring around them lol. This is all normal I guess, but if it gets worse then I'm sure I will mention it to my Doctor. I have my 33 week appointment on Wednesday at 2:00. I hope I don't have to be check (cervix) because I was in the hospital a month ago. I've been fine since then so I'm hoping it was no big deal. I had an appointment today. I now weigh 152 so I've only gained 2 pounds in a month HOORAY!! Baby is measuring right on target now. 33 and a half. I've been having alot of pain and pressure down near my pelvis. Doctor sent my urine in for a culture to see if its a bladder infection. They will let me know in the morning. My next appointment is Feb 27th. Which would of been my moms 57th birthday :( I will have a GBS test that day so hopefully at the same time he will check me :) I'd like to know if I'm making any kind of progress at all.

I can't believe I have a little over a month left. I am extremly uncomfy at this point and look forward to the relief after birth lol :) When I think about it, I kinda freak out. I'm not looking forward to the pain and hard work ahead (birth)! Everyone is very excited. My hubby can hardly wait. He just keeps saying he wants to see and hold his son. He always points out babies in the store and says man I want my son NOW! My kids are counting down the days.

I have so many question to ask at my next appointment. I think I'm gonna write them down so I don't forget them. I need to ask if its alright if my kids can be in the room, if one of them can cut the cord, where I need to go once I'm in labor things like that. I'm not sure if I will go every week after this appointment. It will make it go by so much faster if I do.

I've been feeling lots of BH contractions. I count them to make sure I don't have any more than 4 an hour. Sometimes they are a bit uncomfy but nothing major. I just hope they are helping to make some progress down there :) An Easter baby would be lovely!!!

February 27, 2008 (35 weeks 4 days)

I think I have started to feel some heartburn in the middle of the night. I haven't been able to eat alot and I am wake up feeling sick to my stomach for almost a week now :( I hope it goes away.

Today was my 35 week appointment. My doctor had me undress and he did a GBS swab. It kinda hurt cuz he used one of those shoe horn things lol (not sure what they are called) and it kept poking me toward the bottom of my vagina. It was quick though so I was able to deal with it. I now weigh a whopping 156.2 WOW, I gained 4 pounds in 2 weeks :) I'm gonna do some major exercising/dieting after my little man arrives. I am measuring 34cm so I only gained half a cm since my last visit 2 weeks ago. He didn't check my cervix and I have a slight yeast infection YUM! So he gave me a pill to take, just one.. no creams hooray! He then looked at my chart and said Oh you are due the 30th of March right? I said Yeppy. He said well do you wanna have your baby a week early? I asked Why? He said well I am leaving on March 25th so I wont be here to deliver you. I said OK. So at my next appointment we are gonna set up a time and date. I'm thinking it will be right before easter or the day after. My husband waesn't to happy about it, he dosent understand why a vacation should call for an induction. I can see his point, but then I told him well we will atleast know when we are having our baby. We will be prepared and have things ready and not have to rush. He thought that was a good idea. But also worries about complications. So do I. All I know is if they use Pitocin I'm getting an epidural for sure!! I go back on March 12th and then start going weekly.

February 29, 2008 ( 35 weeks 6 days)

I have started to lactate (sp) Its not coming out on its own, but my hubby was curious and squeezed my boob and out it came :) This is good news, I was a little worried that it wouldn't come. With my first born I was leaking late in my pregnancy and my milk came in the day after I gave birth. It would squirt down my arms if I bumped my boob. With my 2nd child my milk didn't come in :( I am gonna try to breastfeed so this was a concern of mine. Looks like all is well!!!

March 5, 2008 ( 36 weeks 4 days)

I had some contractions lastnight around 3am. I sat up in my bed for a while and they were kinda like mild menstrual cramps. They were in my back and down low in the front. I timed them for a while, they were about 12 minutes apart. I had about 5 of them, then I laid down on my left side and was able to fall asleep, so they went away. I've been having tightening here and there today but nothing like lastnight. :) I'm almost TERM hooray!! not to much longer. My hubby says my belly looks more pertruding, more like a boob he said lmfao. So something is going on, perhaps I have dropped??? The baby's movement has slowed down, I notice him awake in the morning when I get my kids ready for school and then he's quiet most of the day then at night he's active again. Must be his sleep pattern, I hope cuz I don't feel him in the middle of the night :) Only a week til I find out when I'm being induced. I can't wait, it's all I think about!!!!

March 9,10 11th, 2007 (37 weeks)

I have been having some timeable contractions on and off. They have been about 10-12 minutes apart but die out after about an hour :( I feel really crampy like my period is coming...

March 12, 2008 (37 weeks 4 days)

I had my 37 week appointment today. What a huge disappointment that was! I went in expecting to know my induction date and time, I was so excited this morning. I get there and he wants to wait til next week to discuss everything! He didn't even check my cervix. He goes on Vacation the 25th but said he would be back on the 31st the day after my due date. He said my induction will have to be on Easter weekend and asked if that would be a problem. I said no, but it's not really what I want! I just hope he wants to do it Friday or Sunday, not Saturday because my son will be waiting for the Easter Bunny. If it's Saturday it will suck for him, his mom and dad not being home. We want him to be in the delivery room with us ... AHHHH I'm so stressed out, frustrated and irritated!!

I am measuring right on target 37cm and weigh 158.1 so I gained a pound. My blood pressure was normal and baby's heart rate was in the 140's. So now we wait another long agonizing week, maybe I'll just say screw it and have some other doctor deliver my baby while he's out of town!! Oh I forgot, I tested negative for Group B Strep!!!

March 14, 2007 ( 37 weeks 6 days)

This little baby is getting low, I can feel his head right at my pubic bone. It feels like a bump. It hurts to bend forward to tie my shoes or pick things up off the floor. My hubby won't go near that area now thinking he will hurt him in some way lol :( Still no sign of my mucus plug, I hope it comes soon, maybe I just haven't noticed it who knows. Only 5 days til my next appointment. I will be checked and told which day on easter weekend we will be having our little one!! Can't wait.

March 19, 2008 ( 38 weeks 3 days)

I've been having cramping on and off all day. Around 2pm I started having a backache. My hubby came home from work around 3pm and by 4 my contractions started getting painful. I'm still having them and its 9pm. They arent regular at all. Its gone from 6 mins to 5 mins to 8 mins 10 mins. So like other nights i'm sure they are starting to die out. The baby has been kicking or punching me in the crotch too, so hard that it feels like my bum lifts up off my rocking chair. I am also getting severe cervix pain again. I can't wait for my appointment tomorrow. I hope these contractions are doing something. Ive been contracting for a week now! Braxton Hicks suck!!! :) I will update tomorrow after my appointment.

March 19, 2008 ( 38 weeks 4 days)

The contractions once again have stopped! I went to bed and fell right to sleep and nothin'. Hopefully these pains I've been having are doing something to my cervix! I just want this baby out now. I am so uncomfy, can't sleep, tired and my whole body hurts :( I'll atleast know something by 1:15 today. Induction here we come!

March 19, 2008 (38 weeks 4 days)

Went to my appointment today. The contractions I've been having have done a little something to my cervix. I am dilated 2-3cm and he said pretty thinned out. Before he checked me he said if my body wasen't ready we wouldnt do the induction. Well I am scheduled to go in to the hospital Saturday March 22nd at 6pm to have my little man! I can't wait. Marcus my son wont be able to be in the room for the birth so my sister is taking him overnight. The Easter bunny will be visiting him at her house :) My daughter Lacey will be there with my husband and I the whole time. I am measuring 37-38 weeks so still right on target. I now weigh 160!!! :( My doc said I may not make it til saturday with all the contractions I've been having, but I think I will.. Wish me luck!!!

June 11, 2008

Ivan is now almost 3 months old! I can not believe how time flies. He is getting chunky and he smiles and coo's all the time. We are still doing tummy time everyday, he lifts his head when he wants too lol. He loves to stand on mommy and daddy's lap and look around. He bats at his toys when you hang them in front of him. He poops every other day, totally awesome!! Breastfeeding is still going great.
