Hi Everyone!

Thank you for visiting and for any comments! This will be my first pregnancy~ I'm soo excited! Feb 13 the blood work showed I had 15 hcgs so they want to retest on the 20th. I'm 1000 mcgs of folic acid (part of the prenatal vitamin). Starting on Friday 15th, I felt crampy which makes me nervous that af might be starting or i might be having a miscarriage. ??? My doctor said to lay low until the 2nd blood test but I was too excited and told everyone I knew... including our waitress! :)

2-18 Feeling crampy, irritable, exhausted is an understatement and my boobs hurt like mad! Still, I'm soo happy I'm pregnant and feeling these things! :) I can't believe there is a baby inside!!! I'm getting my blood work checked for the 2nd time on Wed.

2-20 I went for my 2nd blood work today and my HCG levels are up to 605 ! With all the symptoms I've been having, I knew it was growing, but the confirmation makes me feel better. I'll have a u/s around 3/11. I need to do some research on what 7wks will show...i think a heartbeat. This is all so new! The doctor has just been giving me results via phone...no official appt until after the u/s. Thank goodness for the online information!

3-11-08 Had my first ultrasound and saw the heartbeat =153 bpm! The baby is 9mm long! Keep growing!

3-18 I was approved for a new doctor yesterday~ happy b/c this means I can deliver at my first choice hospital! I've started getting allergies...nose constantly running and tearing eyes, but there isn't much i can safely take so I'm trying to just put up with it. I also am feeling strongly that this baby is a girl! Since this is my first, i have no comparison for the accuracy of mother's intuition! I wish I could find out today!

3-25 I had my first doctor appt yesterday with my new doc. They said at 12wks i can hear the heat beat again on a doppler, but they said they wouldn't do another ultrasound until 18weeks! I have to wait until the end of May to find out if this is a boy or girl!! Oh well, i guess time is going fairly fast!

4-5-08 Feeling a lot better! Next appt is April 25. My friends are finding out they're having boys. Hmmm?

4-27-08 My husband and I heard the heartbeat on Friday. 154bpm. Doctor said everything looks healthy.

5-27-08 IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!! I am soo happy I could burst! :)
