My name is Tabatha and I am married to wonderful man named keith. After many, many years of trying to conceive we had our first baby on June 20 of 2007! We named him Gabe. Being a parent is such a joy, and has definately brought new meaning to my life. We were suprised, and excited to find out on February 29 2008, that we are expecting another baby! This one didn't take the years of trying that we expected.

The Gemini Baby May 21 - June 21 Planet - Mercury Element - Air Eager to get going (this baby probably kicked up a storm in the womb!), the Gemini baby is likely to be talking early and making a mark from day one. Curious and quite the explorer, this tot is one who needs lots of stimuli in order to be happy, as they are easily bored. Since those communication skills are top-notch, the smart thing to do with this baby is bring them into a play group as soon as possible. At home, siblings could easily fill this function, as someone must! It's never too early for the Gemini baby to interact with others, and they will also learn their lessons early on. The Gemini tot is definitely not clingy. Quite the contrary, this is one baby who is happy to march to their own drummer, gallivanting about and being amused in the process. Surprisingly, when this baby is not engaged (chatting or playing with others), there could be a certain emotional detachment. For that reason, it's best to keep things uncomplicated and easy for them to understand, the better to maintain harmony. To sum up, the Gemini baby is the Great Communicator of the play group, has a short attention span (so keep 'em busy!), and is one clever and creative tot.

I have the stage crib..its under $200 from walmart. I want her in the crib as long as she will stay haha. Yah I am not stressed about a name yet. How was your day? Today I am so tired. Took a nap with Liliana for two hours but am ready for bed. I wonder when I will get my energy back maybe when they are both going to school LOL.

Great new! My husband came home today and told me they will let him off for 30 mins. for the u/s. Its not a long time but i'll take what i can get. I really liked ur idea though. Oh and i think i felt the baby today. I had my hand on my belly and i felt thudding. My husband felt it too. I really think it was the baby because i've never felt anything like it before. What do u think?

Holy cow, what the heck is happening??? No, I havent moved to Plano, Texas...lol. We are doing ok. Its been kinda a long week already. We are doing some painting in our house so half my house is tore apart...which I can't stand!!! I haven't given Ryleigh any whole milk yet. I'm sorta scared to try it before the doctor gives me the go ahead. Am I nuts? I have a feeling if Ron and I ever get pregnant with a boy, we will have a hard time agreeing on a name. I bet its got to be tough! REX! Thats so funny. Must be a guy thing! Oh, and thanks for the picture comment!

I know just what you mean about it being emotional. I got depressed when it didn't work out with Claire. Poor Gabe...is the reflux any better? We're just hanging out & taking it easy, going to take Claire to the pool this afternoon & that's about it. Chase has his last big test to get his license tomorrow so he's got to get some studying in today. I'm waiting on medicine & cookies & cream ice cream to be brought to me :p

Maybe he doesn't want the sippy but still wants to drink out of a cup. I know thats more hassle for you, but have you tried giving him drinks out of a regular cup? Or what about a cup with a straw? Claire *loooooooves* to drink out of anything that has a straw. Sometimes I will give her a juice box & let her do it on her own & you would think this girl just won the lottery by the look on her face! I am going to try to nurse Carter. I only made it about 3 weeks with Claire & we had to put he ron soy formula b/c any form of lactose, even my milk, gave her such bad gas & constipated her. She was such a lazy eater, too. We actually went thru 3 different kinds of bottles. For about 3-4 months, the only kind she'd take where these NUK bottles that were so slow flowing, it would literally take her close to 30 minutes to finish 4oz. Then we switched to Dr. Browns, which I really liked, too. When we moved when she was 7 months though, we had ZERO cabinet space so I had to pack up all the Browns & we used the drop-ins. I will probably stick with drop=ins this time around. I had I think, 15 Browns & threw them all away when that whole BPA scare came out.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! What time does Gabe go to bed at night? I swear, it seems like if Claire goes to bed late (she goes in between 8-8:30) she's up earlier than normal the next morning. That drives me nuts! Maybe Gabe is finally ready for the sippy! I wasn't sick at all with Claire, I think this one is just a little cold. It still sucks though!

Oh I think having them share a room is going to be a very hard challenge. But when the baby is sleeping through the night if they talk or fuss just let them they will get tired and fall asleep...haha so much easier said then done. I can't imagine how hard it will be. We are going to by another crib cause I don't think I can handle all the new adjustments at the same time. Liliana's crib is like a security blanket for her she loves it so much, that can all change.. The woman I babysit for thought the samething as you having two boys but they want mommy to do everything and they are 5.5years and 3 years old. Mommy is the best baseball player!! But daddy is better with basketball cause he is taller. Both are wicked momma boys too its so cute to watch. You will do great always be treated like a princess or the queen LOL. We are having the name issue too nothing seems to fit. For a girl I really like Abigail (abby) Rose and Damian isn't crazy but not completely against it either. Rose is his moms name so I think that might help me lol. Then boys no idea we though about Joseph Damian because he is Jose Damian but I don't really like it that much. I do like Tyler we thought about it with Liliana. I like Brody a lot and is Eli short for something or just Eli?? I kinda like Elliot. Out of the names that he has picked either Caleb (Damian laughed and said no way to the name!) or Tyler. Linus or Huck ya no that would be mean. Are you going to have their bedding matched? I think I might just give the baby Liliana's and let her get something new but we will see she will care more then the baby.

Urgh...I know just how you feel, being at home without the carseat! Chase has been driving my Jeep when he goes out of town to work since the check engine light is on in his car & we haven't had the money to take it in yet. He drove it to OKC yesterday, which is about 2 1/2 hours from here & I made him take the carseat out & put it in his car. I would have gone crazy, especially with the way Claire was acting yesterday! How are you liking your new car by the way? It's a crappy day around here...I am siiiick. My throat has been hurting since Friday night & my head had just been getting more & more congested & I woke up this morning & could barely breath & I have a horrible cough. On top of that, we laid down about 12:00 last night & I was having such bad BH I had to get up about 15 minutes later & they didn't stop until 1:30. Claire woke up around 6 & Chase got up, but only because all he had to do was give her a cup of milk (that I already had ready to go) & come back to bed. When she woke up at 8, he just laid there & hit me in the back until I woke up & went & got her.

CONGRATS!! It will be fun having two boys. I watch two boys and they are best friends and about 2.5years apart. Having any better luck with names?? We are starting to work on what will be both kids bedroom and I am finding myself stress out but no idea why it will all work out I am sure it has too. This baby is so much more active then Liliana was or maybe I just notice it more not sure. How are you feeling?? How is Gabe??

Maybe Gabe would do good in a bed like that! I loved the stuff on that website, plus I really like the fact that I don't have to buy the whole set for Claire since she's not going to be in a crib. I think for her, I will order the pieces separately & then see what the crib bumper looks like before I decide if I will get one for the toddler bed or not. Is your belly button starting to disappear yet? With Claire, it didn't happen til 30+ weeks & with Carter, it's disappearing more & more by the day!

I think we'll keep him in our room until he's sleeping through the night. I am terrified that this time I will have a horrible baby. I seriously won the lottery with Claire. I almost never talk about how good she was b/c I don't want all the moms with difficult babies to hate me! She was sleeping 6 hours a night by the time she was 2 1/2 months old. Did you say you used a co-sleeper for Gabe? Did you have the one that attached to the bed? We let Claire sleep in our bed until she was ready to go in her own crib, which was actually around 3- 3 1/2 months old. A girl I used to be friends with had her baby 5 days before Claire & he died when he was 3 days old & they didn't know why at the time, so I was terrified...I didn't sleep more than an hour or two a night until we made it through the first week. Oh, on the toddler beds, we found one we are really leaning towards getting b/c it is a lot more enclosed than all of the other ones we've seen. Last night I was really wavering on whether I was going to do the toddler bed or another crib & then I found this one. Instead of just having 2 short rails on either side, it is totally enclosed on 3 sides & then the 4th side has a half rail so it feels more like a crib to them. LOL I was asking Chase if I looked OK yesterday & he said "For being pregnant, you look great. Now if you weren't pregnant, yah, I don't think I'd wear that to the pool. The only thing you need to worry about are your side flaps." Gee, thanks sweetheart! LMAO. I know what you mean about picking a name that you both LOVE & trying not to pick one that is crazy common. That's what I love about Gabe's name...I think it's really classic & very manly sounding & its just not one you hear a lot lately. We're getting Claire a toddler bed & SOON. She's already starting to try & climb up the side of her crib & we have it at the lowest position. Have you thought about maybe buying a 2nd crib, but buying one of those "stages" cribs & giving the new one to Gabe so he feels like he's getting something special? That way when he's ready for it, you could transition it to the toddler bed & then when #2 is ready for the toddler bed, Gabe might be ready for a "big boy" bed. I know we'll keep Carter in the crib longer than we did Claire b/c we are mostly moving her out of necessity but when he's ready for the toddler bed, Claire will get a bigger (probably twin) bed. Have I shown you the bedding we picked out for them? It took me forever to find bedding I liked for a girl & a boy & that I could live with for a long time. I really like what we picked, so much so that when Carter is around Claire's age, we will probably redo his room (hopefully he'll have his own room by then anyways!) in a more "boyish" theme & keep this bedding for Claire. What are you going to do about bedding for your boys?

Oh I totally understand. I was hoping it was a girl for you. I was really hoping for a girl as well, knowing it was gonna be our only one...I can't believe I actually got a girl. IF we were to have another, I do think that while I would be happy with another girl for Regan to have a sister...I would be kind of hoping for a boy. I liked Ian and Ethan for a boy.

Aww yea tyler is really cute!! the name game can be ruff!! I got really upset over it a couple of times because I felt names I didn't feel comfortable with we're being pushed on me. I didn't let them and we finally found Ambrielle which we both loved instantly and it just fit perfect! I took naming very seriously also...I think the first name is a huge deal...thats just me! You'll know it when its right! Cameron is cute also!

Not yet. I find out on Friday. YEAH me!!! I have one of each, but am hoping for a girl. My sonogram is on the one year anniversary of my mom's death. Sounds silly, but I really need a positive something on that day. I feel like this baby is her last gift to me... So, I hope and pray it is a girl... But a boy would be ok too... This is my last, so... Whatever I get, I pray its healthy... you find out on the 17th??? Only 2 wks to go.
