Okay, I should probably write a little about myself. I just turned 31 and my husband Ryan is 29. We have been together since Nov. 1999 and just got married in October 2006. I am a 1st grade teacher and all I have ever wanted in life was to be a mom..........and now I have my chance :)

I have been waiting for this my whole life. My husband is so happy! My first appt. is on the 25th.

well i went to the doc yesterday and they told me that her left chamber of her heart is not fully deveoplod and she is going to need open heart surgary when she is born i am going to have to deliver her in a childrens hspital where they can give that suragry i am soo scared and i didnt take the news good but now i am thinking positive and i think everything is going to go okay i am just blessed that i have a baby girl and i cant wait to meet her

no they havent done that yet i am going to the high risk doc on monday morning and they are going to see what is going on see if it is better or what then we take it from there but i just dont understand cause her heart sound good and everything like it was 145 and strong sounding but i dont know i hopw it cleared up for me i hope for the best for you too

Thanks for the note, yeah... I measured 26 cm this doctor’s visit - she didn't say anything so I guess everything is fine! I am only 5'2" and short waisted so I guess I'll measure larger than the average woman?! Did your doctor give you a cm measure for the month?

Your having a Baby Girl....Congrats!!!! I am hoping to find out on Monday what im having. I went last week for a sono but my little one was not cooperating...So I wait again. I might have to have an amnio that day as well. My AFP came back not so good, so I am extremely nervous but have my fingers crossed that all is well. Keep in touch!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!!!! I am a teacher as well, except I have the older ones (9-12th) and I feel the same way as you do. I have always wanted my own. It took me a while to get to where I am today and I totally feel blessed. Please keep in touch!!!
