I am on the count down. My nights are getting worse and I just make it through the days. I am ready to meet my little baby boy. This is my first son. I had a daughter 6 years ago and I have been so blessed by her. She is the most beautiful and wonderful child. I got married earlier this year and we are expecting our first. He has a 9 year old son, and having a step son has been an experience. Boys are so different than girls.
With my daughter, I had to have an emergency C-section after 19 hours of labor. Now I am having another c-section with this pregnancy. I have Gestational Diabetes and I am having my tubes tied once he is born. The scheduled date for the c-section is October the 19th. Only 11 more days.
It is funny, I have been counting down since 99 days but once I got to 20 days the days seem to just slowly pass. How can I make the days go faster? I can't sleep so I guess cooking and cleaning is the way to pass the time.

Here is an update on Parker. Parker is still about the same, but everyday there is a slight change for the better. The doctors/nurses have said that it won't be any great big leaps forward, but baby steps towards a complete healing. The only big steps are backwards. Parker is tolerating movement just a little better. He hates to be touched, moved, loud noises and anything that will stimulate him. But good news, he is liking it when they turn him over every 4 hours. It is suppose to help his lungs, but I dont remember how so. I have had so much information that I can't remember everything. We are still hoping for a fast recovery and Parker to be home soon. THanks for the prayers, God hears them and He knows that Parker and his family is leaning on Gods arms through this.Wednesday, 24 Oct
