What day did you find out?:

September 20th. Two days before my wedding!! And I thought the nausea was from nerves!!

Oh My Gosh!!!!!

My soon to be husband, Nathan....he read the stick first and I thought he was joking!!

My dad. Nathan had a bit to drink during th reception and let it slip while talking to my dad….oops!

He had a bit to drink too so he was VERY happy!

Yes

Yes, Yes YES!! We bought a doppler online and I was able to hear it!! We both cried!!

I cried with joy when we found out! I wanted a girl at first but the past month or so I just felt it was a boy. I'm SOOOO Happy!!!

I know!!! One of my friends on here even does that to me. She sends me every story from any of the weeks about a baby that dies. I finally called her and left her a message going off on her during pregnancy NOT to do that. I think that we (well, most of us) are informed and educated...we don't need to hear all these horror stories. New parenthood has enough anxiety!!!!

How was your Daddy's Day?

Oh...by the way...Johnny likes to sleep on his side. BUT...on the bed about two weeks ago he was on his back and rolled over to his SIDE. WTF!?!? Is was a soft slightly slanted surface...but still! So I went out and bought a really cheap sleep position at BRU's for $24 bucks. It has those wedges that keep him from turning. They have Velcro on the back on them...so if you want you can take them off and stick them to any place you have him sleep including on a blanket on the couch or bed!!! I LOVE it. Then I can keep him on his side without worrying:) It's the same concept of the towels...but the Velcro is great:)

Grrrr...I just get so annoyed with people who are overly opionated about a topic and don't respect what others are doing!!!!!!!!!! BLAH.

I personally have a little raised sleep positioner for Johnny...he started rolling over about about weeks ago and I found him smooshed on the side of his bassinet! I put it on the bed at sleep with him. I also wear a robe during feedings and snuggle him up with his head out and let him fall alseep. I am a very light sleeper. I wake up when he poops LITERALLY. John is the opposite. Example...his parents had to wake him up through torando warnings as a child. I had to hug the positioner and poke John away when he got close. Because John could roll over on beer bottles and not care, I keep the baby out of his way when he is sleeping...but if it wasn't like that i would have him sleeping with us. Sorry I just blabbed all that. I just had to vent that out!

Anyhow...I'm glad that you co-slept and enjoyed it and I am sure that Caleb did. Our bassinet is near my side of teh bed. It has wheels on it....it's a beautiufl Eddie Bauer one. Since hs is sick I just wheel itt up against the bed,. this way I can put my hand on his chest and check his breathing.

Well still.. losing 35 lbs so far after only a few weeks is better than losing nothing! The last 10 is always the hardest to lose though.. not to discourage you, but I've been fighting to lose that last 10 lbs for a few years! Haha! And now I've got an extra 39 (or less, depending on how much I've lost) on top of that! Although I had gained about another 10 lbs before even getting pregnant.. It's amazing how comfortable you become once you're married!

I hadn't noticed it before, until I seen pictures that my mom and Kamil took of me in the hospital.. I have a double chin too! It matches Alyvia's, too... hah! There must be some double chin exercise somewhere out there...

!! How's you lose that weight so fast?? I wish I knew how much I've lost. It feels like nothing! I'm sad - I don't think my belly will go back to being not as flabby!

I've been craving Starbucks frappiccinos, too :( Poo on me! I eat like I'm still pregnant.. I'm gonna have a hard time trying to eat healthy and exercise!

Hey...I read about your bedtime routine:) Very impressive! We need to get one going. Johnny has been sleeping in the bassinet since we came home, but he could be content sleeping anywhere. I was really suprised as all my friends babes are "opionated" where they sleep.

How are you?

Breastfeeding with a cold is a bit though. I try to pump as much as I can. He sits and spends most of the day upright in a bouncer to clear his nose. We also use the saline nose drops and clear everything from his nose with the suction dropper. He is doing MUCH better today though:)
