We have being trying for a baby for two years. It all came about when doctors had me down as a bit of a medical enigma and prescribed a heap of medicine. They were treating me for PCOS. I was also told that without a period and what appeared to be no ovulation it was unlikely I would ever have a child. We had pretty much given up hope - and I was due for one final internal examination. Not sure what prompted me to do the test (well three tests actually). Whatever it was we have never been more happy and excited ...with a huge undercurrent of worry! I am happy to have found this website to be able to read everyones submissions and to not feel alone.

At week 20 I found out that I would be having a boy!
