Wednesday, 9 Jan Just want to let you know that it is very possible for you to poo and fart while in labor. A lot of women have a bowel movement while pushing the baby out. The nurses are usually pretty good about making sure that they get rid of it quickly and discreetly. I personally didnt have this happen with my last one but I have watched births where it happens. Dont stress about it though.....atleast if it happens u will know that you arent alone =) Kimbr7 -
Wednesday, 9 Jan I promise the c-section is not that bad. I did not have a spinal with my first because it was an emergency c-section and they had already given me the epidural. The first day or so is painful, but you are so happy to be holding your little one it is all worth it. I hardly have a scar. The worst part is they want you up and walking as soon as possible and that is most painful. I can say do what they tell you. It hurts, but the more you walk the quicker you will recover. Good luck!! Friday, 4 Jan My little one is doing the same thing. I guess he/she doesn't have much room but is definately finding ways to make themselves comfortable. I am getting legs, thighs, butt sticking out at the top of my chest and is painful. I think the worst is when he/she decides to switch side now that is funny to watch not not funny to feel. Friday, 4 Jan My little one balls up all of the time right under my ribs. She is breech so she butts her head right under my rib cage. She likes to ball up on my right hand side and it becomes uncomfortable. At least she knows how to make herself at home. MamaMari -
Thursday, 3 Jan Hey there, I just read your post, I'm due on the 28th and I'm not dilated or effaced or anything yet! My doc said that could be an indication that I could have my baby very close or after my due date... but it's ok! not weird or anything... tiffanywalker -
Wednesday, 2 Jan Well I hope when I go tomorrow they decide what they want to do. I am sooooo ready to have him. It is getting unbearable. Hope all goes well with you. Thanks for your input. Vincova -
Monday, 24 Dec So I went to the hospital today to have my blood pressure checked cause my head was dizzy and eyes a bit blurred. Well all came back normal but no answers as to why my BP spikes all of a sudden, so to be safe the doc wants to induce on Wednesday at 7:30am! Wow, the end is in sight! Vincova -
Thursday, 20 Dec Just got back from docs appt. 2cm, still 80%... but my blood pressure is 150/98! They don't know why its so high cause I don't have protein in my urine and I'm not overly swelling. I do have a bit of blurred vision and dizziness. Since docs office is closed on Mon and Tues she wants me to go to Labor and Delivery on Sunday morning to get my blood pressure checked and if still high they might schedule me for an inducement. She told me to go early Sunday in case they do want to schedule me for that. So we will see! She told me to rest till then. (i thought that's what ive been doing! haha) jessicag26 -

Sunday, 16 Dec Hi. I hope your leg cramp went away, but if you notice that it does not and if you notice that it is swollen around the painful area, more swollen than your other leg, or if your leg gets really dry in that area or you get a bruise, you should call your doctor. Pregnant women need to watch for clots, especially in the legs. Its uncommon, but just watch the leg. And try eating foods with lots of potassium, they help with the cramping. Vincova -
Friday, 14 Dec never know!! as long as i get a healthy baby boy I will be happy whenever he decides to come. Vincova -
Friday, 14 Dec yeah I lost my plug about 2hrs after my docs appt. I was at the copy machine at work and all of a sudden it was like a extra discharge feeling. I know this is gross but it was like snotty blood. I hope this means he's coming soon. I guess he will be here on the 22nd. That's just my gut feeling! :) jennp81 -
Friday, 14 Dec The anesthesiologist gave too much medicine, one lady I work with was numb/paralyzed from her toes to her throat, and she couldn't breathe, it lasted about 2 hours after her c section. The other girl was numb /paralyzed from her toes to the top of her head. Kind of scary, but everyone reacts differently to medication. And no woman's labor/delivery is the same as another's. Congrats on your baby girl, I'm having a boy. Hang in there we're almost done! Vincova -
Thursday, 13 Dec Ok so I had my 38 week appt today. I am 1 1/2-2cm and 80% effaced. Also about 30 mins ago here at work, I lost my mucus plug. So I hope to have him within a week. That would be great! Vincova -

Wednesday, 12 Dec BH to me feels like my belly is squinching up in a very tight ball. they dont always hurt. sometimes they do, my belly gets REALLY tight and i feel like there is something pulling me down, and then it lets up and I feel like the muscles in my upper body have been doing really heavy work, they feeel kind of sore. Mine hurt though. I had a tubal reversal and some complications, and had to be cut back open. where the scar is , it feels like I am being torn apart sometimes. with my first child I was very fit and slim, and only noticed that sometimes by belly tightened up.hope that helps. margiemom -

Wednesday, 12 Dec Hey there, just wanted to leave you a message because my doc had talked to me about birth control after I have my daughter and she had suggested the type that you get inserted into your cervix. (Since you dont like the chemical stuff). I cant remember the name of it, but its a little Y shaped thing that they would insert after you have your baby that works just as well as any other birth control, if not better. I would ask your doc about it, that way you wont have to chance your hubby getting the operation or anything going wrong with it.
Good luck and I hope things work out! Stacey29 -
Tuesday, 11 Dec Sadly we are not offered all the fancy scans like you ladies who live in the states. We get 2 scans which are at no cost to us but we have to travel 2 hours. Your crib is pretty! Anyways I have 2 girls and a boy so I don't really care what the heck I have.
