1st Ultrasound!! Was very excited but very scared at the same time. Turns out I am 14weeks & 3days, not 12-13 weeks like the blood test worked out. That means my due date is now 4th Feb 2008! Baby's heart beat is 140bps. Does that mean its a boy??!

My parents and Rhys' parents came over for tea on Friday, set up to them the news together...
They all took it really well, it's Rhys' parents first Grandchild and the 6th one for my parents.
Saturday & Sunday we told other family members and Monday its time to tell my work!
I am so relieved now that people know, I don't have to hide it anymore, the stress has gone!!
Baby has been moving quite frequently, always feeling movements on my right hand side....
I am so excited!!.. and so thirsty all the time.... =)

Baby GIRL!!
Matilda Grace Elfriede Johnstone!
Was Born 3:32pm weighing 3.934kg & 52cm in length after a fairly quick labour of approx 6hrs. I was exactly 42 weeks and booked in to be induced that day. Hooked up to a CTG machine when arriving at the hospital, I noticed I was already having contractions! 9:30am Dr arrived and said I was 4cm dilated so he broke my waters. Meconium was found in the water which they were expecting being so far overdue. 11am I was put on the drip, amount was increased a few times and at 3:32pm my daughter was born! Rhys and I are very lucky to have our gorgeous daughter, Not only was there the meconium issue but the cord was wrapped tightly around Matilda's neck twice as well as caught around her arm.
We had the name Matilda in mind through most of the pregnancy, and have never actually decided on a boy's name!
We chose Grace as it was Rhys' Grandmothers name and Elfriede was my Omas name.

Hiya dont worry you will get there just need to take it a step at a time. your plan sounds gd i hope to be mobile when im in labour hoping to go drug free but same as you gonna go with the flow. yeah my bag is packed mines has been packed for ages my mum did it though so i didnt need to think about it she has put loads of nice things in it have you got your bag done . Hows Rhys is he getting excited how is his job going. :)

Hiya yeah im really lucky with fasion just now. yeah headaches are the worst im sorry to hear your headaches are so bad hopefully that will pass soon but you know what its like you get over one pain and you get a hole new pain lol. yeah i get like quite an achey tummy once a week usually a thursday thats when i nearly move up a week so im guessing thats the baby getting bigger nothing to painful though . sleep is a sore subject wiv me just now everyone keeps telling me i look tired im like tell me sumthing i dont know how do you get cumfy at night do you feel like whne your sleeping your in a really light sleep. thats good you had your first craving its one of the better weird things about pregnancy isnt it hehe was it tasty.

Yeah i thought you might be watching the video alot i dont blame you i would do the same. maternity stuff over hear is actually quite good and cheap and baggy dress tops are in fashion over here right now so ive been lucky i got laods of great mat tops for like £4 each they are all like fitted at top then go outat bottom . what do you do for your headaches im starting to get them now have you had any pains in your hips mines wer killing we yesterday. are you sleeping well at night.

Hiya aww that sounds good we are thinkin about gettin a private scan done cant make my mind up yet. the video must be amazin how many times do you watch it a day. aww thats so exciting isnt it we are now getting to the stage wer we can start thinking ahead a wee bit further . the bib sounds good they have got some really cute things out there for babies dont they . yeah im meternity stuff now have been for a wee while i just wasnt comofrtable in normal stuff i got a lovely pair of boyfit maternity jeans so cumfy over the bump black work trousers they are bril to and some joggers i love the clothes i want some like slogan teechirts but cant find any good ones in the shops. how you feeling today.

Hiya aww thats good im glad everything is good yeah i love that name so girly . i like Lucy and Ben too. wow the video must be amazing did you get that at the hospital. i never got scanned i was nearly in tears but i mena i cant complain coz the said they wer happy with the measurements they had from previous scan they said they might not even scan me again im gutted but i did get to hear the heartbeat that was amazing didnt give me a reading though but i was happy to hear a good strong heartbeat . have you started to buy anything yet im gonna wait til 20 weeks then get some stuff.

Hey we're due on the same Day! And My Baby's heart Beat is always between 136-140. I dont find out what it is until the 24th, but both my Husband and I have a feeling that it is a Boy. I'm still looking for a darn crib set lol In the states is different than Canada. I pretty much have to wait a long time just to get my ultra sound. I've had mine booked since I was 12 weeks and its just coming up next week At least I get to find out what it is!!! *fingers crossed* BOYY!! lol

Hiya awww im so glad everyone knows it feels good doesnt it omg u can feel the baby move that must be amazin i cant wait i thought i cud feel wee bits but im not too sureprobs just all in my head. how are u feeling . ive had cravings mostly for tomato sauce lol we bought laods of stuff for the house yesterday all we need now is a house think its gonna take us a wee while to get sumit sorted. did u have a nice weekend.

Hiya how are you your scan pics are lovely . i ended up in hospital again with bleeding again the baby is fine they dont have a clue whats wrong got scan was amazin im now due on the 23rd of Feb now so im 15 weeks on Saturday my belly is quite big hehe. hows urs looking. :)

Well I just found a crib and dresser/ changetable set for $300 andd I really like it, so I'm going to get it tomrrow. My friend bought me a little yellow outfit for baby (it's really cute) andd I have some blankets and bedroom stuff but that's about it right now. I can't wait for baby to get here!! Also I think that even if I know the sex of the baby it will be just as much a surprise to hold it in my arms knwing it is mine and I carried it for the last nine months
