BIRTH STORY IN "TEIGANS CHILDREN"
new pic of me now,1 month after kloeys birth in my pics :)
i'm due on the 24th of march but found ou yesterday i will
be having my lil girl 2weeks early on the 11th due to G/D and bubs weight which is 7.9lbs already.
I'm hoping for a vaginal birth but chances are slim due to her size and my small frame,hopefully i'll be able to do it without a c-section but if ones needed then i have no choice.
i'm really excited to be a mummy in 13days but also a bit scared too,all the emotions will be running high for the days leading up to my induction but all will go fine i hope.

9th october.....
had a doctors appointment yesterday and heard bubbas heart beat.... it was amazing!!!
got my referal for my morphology scan and i'm hopefully finding out the sex on friday if bubz in the right position.
All is going realy good except the headaches and migranes i been getting...
Startimg to feel the pressure in my belly now,a little awkward but once everythings shifted inside it should calm down a bit i hope...
Oh how i wish i had that belly back lol...^^^^

TODAY WAS AMAZING.
THE FIRST TIME I SAW BUBBA SHE WAS A BLOB BUT NOW SHE'S GOT EVERYTHING AND ITS SO SO COOL TO REFER TO BUB AS A SHE...
I'M SO HAPPY EVEN THOUGH I KINDA WANTED A BOY BUT WENT SHOPPING TODAY AND GOT THE CUTEST LIL PINK STUFF,PRAMS,BASSINETTS,CLOTHES... EVERYTHING..
MY NIECE HAS HER NOSE OUT OF JOINT THOUGH,SHE'S 11 AND IS WORRIED SHE'LL GET NO ATTENTION COZ I'M HAVING A GIRL,ITS CUTE :O)
ANYWAY CANT WAIT TILL YOU OTHER MUMMYS FIND OUT...

I ended up at the hosp today with migrains and massive swelling the signs of pre enclamsia but it has not developed so i gotta get my blood pressure checked daily and do urin test daily thank god there is only 10 days to go i am going insane. how are you going are you going to be back up there on tuesday.

Yeah, up until last night I was pretty much just having contractions that were random and not doing anything... had a ton that were decent last night and came in even intervals but tapered off, and sure enough it seems like she engaged. Today I can't walk!!! We're almost there! :)

I sure hope so! I have heard so many stories about how they get the weight wrong-- they told my friend she was carrying a 10lber and turns out, only 7lbs 3 oz! You are soo lucky they gave you an end date... I am going crazy over here and have to wait until Monday to see what they say. Then again so far I guess I'd likely have a failed induction at this point. Have you had any labor signs yet?

hi there, i was just reading your post.. and me too, im due 3-21, being induced on the 11th, i have GD and as of today she was 7.8lbs... i almost fell off the table when they told me that!!!!! good luck to u!!

Oh that's great news! Congrats! March 11th, sounds like you're well on your way! I've been measuring pretty average all along... am 37 weeks 2 days and measured 36cm today, last week measured 35cm etc. The last ultrasound we did, she was in the 48% and since she's been average they haven't ordered another one since. I just got back from the Dr.'s and despite what seemed to be a lot of prep work, I am still not dilated, so definitely no induction scheduled for next week, but she could feel her head...not sure what station that is. My doc mentioned that next week we'll discuss dates for induction, which would be around my due date, so sounds like she's going to allow me to go that far. Man, I don't know what I'm going to do if I get there, and still have nothing going on! lol! Hope these last few days go well for you!

Thanks so much for your note! I agree I want to avoid a c-section if possible and am a little concerned about my little one's size. Plus, my blood sugar for some reason became really unmanageable starting at 36 weeks, and I'm eating the same things, but just unable to keep the numbers down. Best of luck to you!!! Hope everything goes well in these last few days/weeks!

umm well im being induced tomorrow and i have gd.. and im on isulin and my sugar still spikes umm i did an amnio and the lungs are ok so its time :) he was just worried bc sometimes gd can casue still births and my baby already measured 7lbs at 35 weeks butt ya never know they could be off.... buttt just research or ask ur doc what the best is for the environment for u baby.. g/l with everything

Hi there
I have GD too and am on insulin - but the docs havent given me an inductin date either - all along they said 38 weeks which for me is friday, now they are saying 40 weeks! I wouldnt pay attention to the ultrasounds. In the last trimester they can be out as much as three weeks with error. So date changing can be a problem. So if they are saying your bubs measurements are bigger, it is only relevant if they have been big for several ultrasounds otherwise they might be wrong with their estimates. Our babies can be a pound either side of what they say too. On my last ultrasound - my babies head measured at what it did three weeks earlier (but everything else has grown). Funny that - but more just about their errors. It is not a definitive science. That is why your docs might be waiting to get more ideas on the true state of things. Good luck.

Same thing happened to my husband lol, the first time I asked him to check he was like 'It's really hard feeling', he must have poked her because she kicked off my rib and he felt her move... he was so freaked out but in a ggod way lol. I think if you can feel the head like that it must mean your thinned out. Your cervix has to thin out and soften up before it dialates and opens up for baby's head.... to chack dialation you find the hole in the cervix (make sure you wash your hands) and if you can out a finger in, thats 1 centimeters about.... 2 is 2 centimeters dialated and so on. I havent dialated yet so I cant tell you exactly what to look for but thats what I've read on all the natural home birth pages. I took the oil again and nothing :( maybe 3 contractions all night. Guess I wait till my doc swipes my membranes on tuesday

thats exactly what happened to me... I know it at least helped a little because I keep having my husband check my cervix because I cant reach anymore lol, and the next day instead of having to really stretch to reach it, it had come forward alot.... I just took it again and doubled the amount..... so we'll see

Oh nice well it looks like i will be having her around the 3rd of march the dr told me i can choose c or natural. tho most diabetics have to have a c section. so its all appening now

Hi um my doctor didnt say anything about a csection but I am not sure maybe thats' more normal when you have preclampsia I'm not really familiar with it haha...i guess I will find out soon enough
