I have 3 older children, 22, 25 and 28 (I got an early start) LOL. My fiance and I would like to have a child together, he never had any of his own. We did have a miscarriage a few years ago and tried to get pregnant again for a short time but then stopped until this past year. And now here we are almost 7 weeks, excited but very nervous and worried since we did have the m/c before.

I prayed for this day and I can't believe it but I've had my baby. Little Jeffrey arrived March 25 and I an so in love with him, I can't take my eyes off of him. I've posted two pictures of him and will have more soon.

Jeffrey went for his 4 month check up today. Where has the time gone. He's growing so fast. You really have to treasure each day because they grow so fast. He weighed 15 lbs 8 ozs and was 26 1/4 inches. The dr said he is doing great. He has his own little adorable personality. He got his shots today too and was not happy and neither was mommy and daddy.

I called his doc about the drooling and rash and they said buy Aquaphor and that stuffed worked overnight! It really was a huge difference just within 12 hours. Thanks for the tips!

I love how unique your family is! And they are all beautiful! My mom had me at 17 so she's a really young grandma and I have a little sister that is 3! My sissy loves her little nephew! My mom say she gets the best of both worlds being a new mom all over again and being a new grandma! IT's true your heart only grows bigger with each child! Congrats!

Yep! We moved to Tampa about 4+ months ago. Not sure how I like it though :( I miss a lot of things about MD, but I definitely don't miss the expensive cost of living! How are things going with your little guy? I don't check my page too often, but I'd love to hear how you're doing.

I would love to take Emma to get a portrait done, but the closest town to do that (it would be at walmart) is 30 miles away and after that long of a ride in the car I don't know that she would be too happy. Some day it will happen. I take lots of photos at home. The boys both had 2 portraits done by her age, but they were so different. Jeffrey's portrait is just adorable.

thanks for your reply! it makes me feel better that im getting so much support from everyone on here. he suggested getting married b4 baby is born, but i want to have a wedding and not be pregnant at it, so im making him wait.

Hi! Emma hasn't been sleeping as well either. Last night we were at my parent's house and I decided rather than listening to her cry all the way home, we would spend the night. My mom just has a small crib kinda like a porta crib. Emma was not happy in there because she couldn't move like she's used to. She woke up at 2a.m. and was off and on every 10 min. or so until 4:30. She pooped at 3:50a.m. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. My son Shane who was supposed to be moving home isn't. His dad bought a house that he was fixing up to sell or rent and he told Shane he could live there and just pay the utilities. So, of course he wanted to do that. It's an independence thing I know, but it still hurts. I was looking so forward to him being around to visit with. I'm sure I will see more of him than before because he is living in the same town, but he's not living here. Emma hasn't wanted her cereal bottle at night for the past two nights, but she still doesn't need to eat in the night. She has been drinking formula before bed. She loves sweet potatoes. So did my boys. Shane ate so much orange food that his nose turned orange from the betacarotene coming out in his skin. Take care.

I hope the little spots are nothing serious. I saw a mosquito on Emma's forehead yesterday, but no bump today so I guess it didn't get her. She slept last night from 10:30-10:00. I kept checking on her this morning and she was out like a light. I got up at 6. I'm gonna have to start taking advantage of her sleeping like that. It's been very warm and muggy here so maybe that's why she's so sleepy. She hasn't had anything but a diaper on for two days. Take care and let me know how Jeffrey's spots are.

Good morning! Emma is now rolling from her tummy to her back. She is so cute. I put her on her back and she rolls to her tummy and then to her back again. All in the same direction so she gets mad in her crib because it's not that wide. She is acting like she will start going in the opposite direction soon. I'm assuming that you have Jeffrey in his crib by now? I layed Emma in her cradle yesterday and she looked at me like I was crazy. There is no room to move around in there. She moves so much in her crib. She scoots around when shes on a blanket on the floor and it wont be long before she crawls. I've been putting her in the walker a little and she can make it go pretty good on the bare floors; the carpet is too thick for it to move easily. I wish you lived closer to me; I could really use a friend. Take care!

Emma has teething symptoms also. She has been drooling and chewing like crazy for about 2 months now, but it's getting worse. If I don't keep a bib on her, her clothes get drenched. She hasn't been sleeping as good either, but I'm not sure why. She has been terrible with naps and she gets so tired and cranky. Yesterday she went all the way from 6a.m.-1:40p.m. with only a 20 min. nap, and then after that she napped till 5p.m., but I had to rock her 3 different times because she kept waking up. Aren't you tired of the Nutramigen? I am tired of Emmas poop. It is so messy and if I don't change her as soon as she goes it gets on her clothes. I am always so tempted to try and change her formula, but I don't want to make life worse for her. I asked her dr. if she would have a hard time pooping whenever she goes on regular formula or milk because she is so used to having loose stools and he said "no". I hope not. I can't stand it when babies are constipated. I bought her a new car seat yesterday. She hates riding in the car and it is so hard with just her and me; I hate to her her crying when I'm trying to drive. That's why we never go anywhere. I thought maybe if she has a bigger car seat that is more comfy, maybe she'll like it better. Got it at Big Lots for $80, and it retails at Target, Meijer, Kohl's for $150. It's a Safety 1st 3-n-1 convertible deluxe. Well, she's calling for me. Take care
