We found out on December 2, 2007 that I was pregnant. We are so excited, albeit really nervous. I can't wait to know more about my baby!!!

May 27th-

I am so in love with my little Zoe. She moves around constantly and makes me smile at the most inappropriate times! I can't wait until she is here so she can share that with the rest of the world!!! So much to do before she arrives!!!

ive had the shot three times and the pills dont make me shake, they are smaller doses, and if you do shake and such it should go away. i have the papers for my meds with me (i always read through that stuff) but i think my baby is far enough along to not have defects, hes in his last 2 weeks, basically gaining weight and helping his lungs mature. i wouldnt take this stuff though if i was only 2 or 3 months preggers, that would concern me. i am off the pill very soon, almost been 10 days, whew. no contractions since i left the hospital. good thing i never wanna be on magnesium ever again! (that stuff is worse that the shot i got!)

I've had the exact same response from doctors saying that my cramps are braxton hicks contractions...I keep telling them that I've had those for more than 12 weeks and I can tell the difference between the two! A lot of good they do!

 ps- you look fantastic!

Don't be afraid to be a little bold and tell them they are paid to monitor you and answer your questions to your satisfaction. You don't like the treatment and would like to be taken seriously. This is your health and your baby and if they could take the time to hear you out ... you would be happy with that, don't feel rushed...make them listen. I had that problem and now my doctor is the sweetest thing!

well i am on terbutaline, i was also on magnesium and satall (cant spell it) , in the hospital. And terbutaline was the easier of the choices for home use. I know its used for asthma and is not fda approved for pregnancy so far. But really i am only taking it for 10 days at most, and im in week 35 now. So after this, im not taking it anymore, my doc is just worried about my babys lungs, but i told them , if this stuff fails and i go back into labor, we are not gonna stop it because i dont want all the meds all over again. i was almost passed out the other day, they just gave me med after med, and my mother agrees, no more after these pills are gone. i dislike meds a lot, i plan to have a natural child birth and if anyone gives me meds im gonna scream at them, lol. i was born naturally and i want my child to be (just my beliefs) and i didnt wanna stop my labor last week but my bf and i made a joint agreement to give our little boy more time to develope. (sigh) i hate the pills though. not much longer on them though, so im thankful. how did you react on the pills?

Yah, I'm thinking a bloody mary with a beer sounds great. I am going to breastfeed too but like you said, that's what the pump is for.

I understand! But I dont have a dog, I have a very needy cat lol. It has always just been me and my cat, we have been through a lot together. She is very attached to me. I feel so bad cuz she wants to lie with me and cuddle but Im so tired and feel like crap so I just push her away. I could tell this is affecting her cuz she trys jumping in the babys crib and bassinet just to get attention. Our poor pets, they dont understand. You should contact ur dogs vet. They will be more then happy to give you advice and show you how to slowly introduce baby to your FIRST baby lol.

everything went well at the appointment today, i didnt get the amniocentesis done. based on the blood test and the genetic screening and counseling, i opted not to risk a miscarraige, because everything seemed to be well. they took about 100 pictures of the baby, even each individual finger! and counted the bones in them! girl i was there from 830 til 330! whew im tired!thanks for your response and support!

I just had to write you because you gave me a good laugh:-) almost everyday now i squeeze my nipples to try to get colostrum out because i get excited like you said. i can never get more than a tiny little drop. being pregnant has made me so weird. lol. i am happy that someone else gets excited about it though. i guess i should probably give my nips a rest while i can though huh? take care just thought i would say thanks for the laugh :)

Wow thanks for the info.... I have heard about that drug as well and its not a good one for the baby.... I am glad that you told me that its common to want to give it to you. Well here is to turning babies... I have been swimming alot I read that can help them to turn on their own. Fingers crossed for both of us girly. I let you know what the doc says its been awhile since I have seen him so I am a little nervous. Talk to ya soon!v

I have a doctors appt. on Monday I havent been in like 5 weeks so I havent had a chance to mention it to him yet I have a list of things to ask him when I go I guess I am going to have to research ECV I never had to worry about this with my other too so this a new issue for me. What did your doc tell you about an ECV is that were they try and turn the baby? OUCH~

If it was real labor it definately would not subside. Your body could just be preparing for labor, sometimes my bh contraction do hurt. But real labor starts in your back and radiates around the front. At least that's how it was with my first. Trust me, as silly as it sounds, you will know that you are in real labor. And the pain is not constant, it comes and goes with the contractions. If it feels a little more constant during the 30 mins it might be your body telling you to slow down and not do too much. I hope this helps but if doesn't work. Call your doc and talk about your concerns with the meds. Maybe they could switch you to something you feel more comfortable with. Sorry it is so long. Good luck. hope you start feeling better soon.

imamommy - Wednesday, 25 June
when your contractions are steady at 5 minutes apart, blood, water breaking or you can't speak in pain.... go to the hospital. when it is time...TRUST ME...YOU KNOW. Sounds like alot is going on but not really enough to deliver.

sondra0031 - Tuesday, 24 June
girl yes i have had them pains...but i tend to end up throwing up. i find myself thinking i have to use the bathroom...number 2! it is the worse feeling and i dont know if they are constractions or braxton hicks contractions...this is my first and i dont know what to expect

My baby has been breeched this whole time! It sounds like your baby is frank breech. (I was reading your post on someones page!)Mine is transverse! Aren’t they being little stinkers! I keep telling my Ava that she is either having a blonde moment like her mommy or a long stubborn moment like her daddy! In her and my case it better be a blonde moment cuz I don't think I can handle 2 stubborn kids at home! (Yes her father can sometimes be a child as well! I'm sure you know what I'm talking about!) Good luck with the turn of your little one. I hope we don't have to have cesarean's. Keep me updated and let me know if yours turns and what it feels like!

We had a 4D scan & my baby also has both feet on top of its head, it took us a while to get baby to move them so we could see their face. I really dont know how they are comfy lol x

http://spinningbabies.blogspot.com/2008/01/sifting-with-rebozo-scarf-manteado.html

Here paste this link into your browser...this is the same link I followed and read on. I hope it gives you more information. Let me know what you come up with!!

Carmione - Sunday, 22 June
look up "sifting" to turn breech babies...it's a procedure that actually relaxes the uterus and allows the baby to move unrestricted into a head down position. Many midwives use this technique and can show your partner how to administer this action. It's painless from what I read, and the little that I tried...just to see how it felt made my belly jiggle to the point where it felt good- a little goofy but good. I don't have a breech baby but stumbled upon a couple links in the breech baby forum. Check it out. Might be a painless alternative for you to try.

I've been having sharp pains in my lower belly like right above my pelvic bone. No where else though n my belly has been getting very tight. I don't have to make it to my due date just the 21st of July I'm having a scheduled c section but my doc already said he can't promise I'll even make it that far so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!! Hope that helped u out. I would def let ur doc know about the pain cause I didnt tell mine until my appointment 3 days later n he was a lil upset so def call.
