found out I am pregnant on the 24th of March. I had broken up with my boyfriend about a month and a half prior to finding and had no idea that I was pregnant at the time. I told my ex that I was pregnant and we are currently trying to decide on what we want to do about this unexpected event. Right now its kinda hard to deal with being pregnant because I am alone right now. I am in the military and am at washington state while my family is in texas, and my ex is deployed. its kinda hard to talk to him since we can only communicate through e-mail right now. He wants to be a good father though and want to help decide on the welfare of our baby.

My parents know about the pregnancy and my dad is excited about having another grandchild, but my mom is kinda taking this pretty hard, but I'm sure that she will get over it once she see's the baby.

well I had an appointment with a nurse on base and she kinda got me started on what I should do. I have a orientation class on thursday and I'll be getting my first doctors appointment soon. its still kinda surreal that im pregnant. sometimes when I fell somewhat normal I htink 'no im not pregnant, and I go about my day until I get cramps and im reminded again that I'm in this alone right now. im told that there are a few other single mothers that are going through the same situation as me and im going to give my ex some space and not really bother him about this pregnancy too much. I htink he's in denial a bit and it will hit him when he see's me getting big when he comes back from deployment. so im not gonna bother him too much.

so I am actually 22 weeks and 1 day pregnant today. had my ultrasound appt. and found out that the baby is a boy. which im not surprised. but I am surprised at how far along i am and i didn't even know it. kinda scary... but that is the latest now.
