December 30
It is very hard to believe I am almost to the halfway mark. I am so excited! Sometimes I get upset at my DH because I feel like he is not excited, but I think it is just because I am moody. I know he is excited, but maybe he just does not show it like I feel he should. Sometimes I wander if it has even truly sank into his head yet. Maybe it will sink in better the closer to the due date we get. A little less than 2 weeks and hopefully we can find out what we are having. The first u/s was not successful at telling us the sex so we are praying the next one will be successful. I have had a gut feeling from the beginning that it is a girl. I do not care what we are having as long as the baby's healthy. My hubby wants a boy so bad he cannot stand it so more than likely it is a girl!I keep trying to tell him that he can still take a little girl golfing, fishing, and hunting just as well as he can a little boy. Oh well, he will love it the same no matter what.

I have finally been feeling my little one move around regularly now! It is not like big kicks or moves, but they are enough that it makes me smile every time it happens. On New Year's Day, my husband and I decided to work on our baby's room a while. We put the crib and changing table together. Also, as bad as I hated to, I shampooed the carpet. I hate doing that! I just cannot wait until Jan. 11 when we will hopefully find out if it is a boy or girl. We both have our fingers crossed. If it is a girl then we are going to do her room in flowers. The crib set we are wanting is so beautiful. I mostly like it because it has so many bright and beautiful colors in it. We will paint the walls of the nursery a pale yellow, and paint flowers on the wall. I am so excited. If it is a boy, then we have our hearts set on a sports theme for the room. Not sure what color we will paint the room if we are having a boy though. Guess we will decide on Friday if we find out! Wish us luck :)

Well, I start my classes again tomorrow after being out for about a month for the Holidays. I am not excited at all. I think the part I dread the most os having to go to the bathroom alot! I like to carry water with me at all times just to be on the safe side, and I know I will have to get up and go the b/r during most of my classes. The good news is-this is my last semester of classes. It works out really well b/c the baby is due May 24, and I get out of school around May 5. I just hope and pray I do not have to be put on bedrest for some reason. I'll have the summer off with my little one, then I begin student teaching in August. I can imagine how much I will miss leaving my little one after spending almost 3 months at home with it. Oh well, I will be making a good life for her/him. BTW- we are supposed to find out Friday, so hopefully I can say for sure wheter it is a girl or boy.

YAY! We found out today that our little one is a GIRL! I am so very excited. DH wanted a boy but when the doc said "it's a girl", my hubby was excited. He knows she will be a daddy's girl. I was aggravating him about learning how to fix a girl's hair. I told him he can always practice on me if he wants- I love to have my hair played with. I remember when I was little, everyone knew when my dad fixed my hair because it was not the prettiest ever! I know my husband will be great with a little girl. He is going to be a good daddy. :)
March 13
Well, it has been a while since I have updated everyone. Since I started back to school after Christmas break, my life has been hectic. It is unbelievable that I only have approximately 10 weeks left until my little darling arrives. I am so excited! We are having our baby shower on March 29th. I cannot wait. We already have so many clothes for her that it is unreal. We seriously will not have to buy her any clothes until she is over 1 year old. Her room is beautiful also. It is done in butterflies. We painted a magnetic primer under the paint, so we can hang things by magnets on her wall. It will be good for when she gets older too. Anyways, I have been extremely emotional lately. I know it is just my hormones, but I get so mad at my DH for the smallest things. Hopefully, I can control them from now on though. I sure hope so!
May 1
I cannot believe I only have three more weeks to go! Everyone keeps saying - gah you have been pregnant forever, but I honestly feel that time has flown by. It seems like yesterday I found out I was pregnant. We are as ready as can be for her though. I have a doctor's appt tomorrow, then straight from there I must go take one of my finals at school. I have so much going on it is hard to believe I am still sane. My last final is Monday! I will be able to spend the summer with my baby girl, then off to student teaching I go. It will be worth it though. I did not spend 4 1/2 years in college for nothing. I might as well get it over with. People are amazed that I am not going to take a semester off with my little girl, but I just feel that I will have three months with her, and it has to be done sometime. Why not go ahead and get it over with? Then, I will be able to help my hubby provide for us. I mean, I work now but I will be able to help alot more when I am teaching. I just can't waint til I get to hold her in my arms. It makes me tear up just thinking about her!
Oh my gosh! She is precious! Congrats on your beautiful baby girl!
love it!! i would'nt want to cut it either!! lol!!
congrats to you!!! best wishes~~ tam
