Hi. I'm Trista! I'm 21 years old & just recently found out I was pregnant. I'm not exactly sure how far along I am right now tho b/c for the last 3 months, my periods were irregular. I was only going approx. 21 days between periods, which is odd b/c I was always regular. I'm assuming I'm around 6 weeks tho. One of my friends recently found out she was pregnant and when I started complaning of the same symptoms, (cramping, bloating, gagging at certain smells, really tired all the time, etc) she told me I was preg. I told her she was crazy and I was just getting ready to start. Well after telling her that for about a week and a half and still not starting my period, I deceided to take a hpt. The 1st one I took was a VERY faint positive. I mean VERY faint. I actually thought it was negative then a couple days later, something told me to take another one. This time i took the clear blue digital and after the 3 minutes i had to wait... it said "PREGNANT!" I called my boyfriend of almost 3 years, to come to the bathroom and he knew just by the sound in my voice what i was about to tell him. He look at the test with a huge grin on his face. He seems so happy. I couldnt do anything but laugh. We laughed together. We're both very happy but yet still really nervous. It's our first pregnancy and we really don't know what to expect yet. I called my doc. and my first appt is March 13th. It seems so far away! =[ I'm so anxious and so nervous! I can't wait!!!

Sunday, March 9th.

Okay... so I was having some pains & breathing problems with a really high pulse and bp so I called the dr and she wanted me to come in. I went in last week and she scheduled an u/s on March 5th. I guess the u/s went well but we found out we're not as far along as we thought we were. But she said that's a good thing b/c when i went to the dr. a few days before I got the u/s done, she did my blood work and she said my hcg levels were low for as far along as we thought we were. (They were only 777) but when she seen my u/s, she thought it matched up pretty well b/c I was only about right around 5 weeks. (Maybe not even that yet!) But I seen the little gestational sac... but that was it so far. I have to go back to get my levels checked agian tomorrow just to make sure they have at least doubled by now. I hope all is going well. The doc also checked my urine while i was there and there was a very tiny amount of blood in my urine. I hope that goes away b/c it just kinda worries me. My friend is due any day now tho, and she's had a tiny bit of blood in her urine her whole pregnancy. I hope all is okay with me tho. I really can't believe I'm only going on about 5 1/2. I'll know more thursday when I go for my actual first prenanal appt. And i'll be scheduled for another u/s. Wish me luck guys~!!!

Wednesday, March 12th.

I had bw drawn on March 3rd and my hcg level came back at 777 then I got my hcg repeated on March 10th and my levels were at 8000! Seems to be quite a bit of a jump but I'm not sure? I have my first prenantal appt tomorrow and I'm so excited!! Have to get my hcg levels checked again tho. I hope everything is okay! I will def write more tomorrow after my appt to keep everybody updated~!! Wish me luck and say a prayer for us! Thanks a bunch! Much love to all the mommies!
