Hi my name is Tharesa. Im only at the age of 19 an i had a Ectopic Pregnancy. Im not sure how to start but i was about two months pregnant we was asure that i was but didnt pay that much attetion towards it, we was really waiting it out. And for the two months i was bleeding i thought it was just my cycle, but it was May 22 07 wen i woke up at 11:45 am with a very bad side pain i thought i was geting cramps an sat it out for the whole day, day two may 23 07 was when i couldnt move or walk, i was in so much pain like if i was going into labor an thats when i realize there was something wrong with me an i have to rush to the E.R room asap. From what i thought i didnt think i was pregnant becuz of the bleeding for the two months. My Heart Beat was 180 an that was really abnormal for my age, i couldnt give dem a pee test becuz i couldnt for dose two days. The nurses toke blood work an gave a ultrasound and thats wen the nurse told me i was pregnant an that the baby didnt make it. The egg was stuck in my right fallopain tube an the tube an the baby burst which caused blood to flow in my belly for dose two days. i had to get an emergency surgery done, i almost lost my life! I got my right fallopain tube romoved, and 3 blood transfusion. And the doc told me i am able to get pregnant agian becuz i have my left tube, but after readding the storys on here i will be at more risk if i try to get pregnant. Hey there - yes I got pg again naturally. The ectopic was caught very soon, so I took a MTX injection instead of having any invasive procedures done, like a D&C. I had to wait 3 months before TTC since MTX depletes the folic acid in the system, and that's very bad for baby's neural tube formation, they need folic acid. My first cycle was about 60 days long and I didn't ovulate. The next was about 35 days and luckily we caught the egg. Don't give up hope :) What really helped me track my cycles was charting & temping, something you may want to look into. There's a great website called Fertility Friend that you input the info in and it keeps track and tells you when you ovulate and best times of conception, things like that. Good luck to you!!

i didn't take anything other than folic acid but i did make sure that i ate loads and loads of fruit and vegetables, lots of cooked dinners and not so much junk food.I also drank loads of fruit juice.good luck

tharesa have hope. i had an ectopic pregancy in april 2007.Firstly they treat me with a drug called methotrexate but that didn't work so i went on to have full surgery and the whole of my right tube removed as it had started to rupture. the medical staff believe i was carrying twins but both were stuck in my tube. i had previously had 3 children i couldn't understand why this happened. they told me it could take 12months for me to get pregnant again if at all.However within 4 months i was pregnant again and i am now 32 weeks pregnant.i do have a post on the ectopic page of this forum explaining my story if you want to read it.if you have any questions or just want to chat feel free to message me.keep your chin up try to relax and let nature take its course.

Hey - I'm so sorry about the baby. I just went through an ectopic as well. It may take a little longer for you to get pregnant with just one tube, but you can definitely still get pregnant. Take your time and it will happen when it's supposed to. You're so young and will have plenty of time. Much luck to you :)

Hey, I did not lost my tube, doc managed to save it for me. But chances of getting pregnant dropped, he said. Anyway, I knew I get pregnant on the same tube this time :)

A good friend once told me that for every baby lost God makes the baby better and gives it back. I have had 4 pregnances and one birth. I lost one got one, lost one and I got one agian. My heart goes out to you, God bless.

Hi Tharesa, I am very sorry for your lost. Yes, ectopic is indeed very scary. I had my share in Dec 06 and almost die too. I never believe that I will be pregnant again after that coz I am afraid to repeat the same episode all over again. But God really blessed me and my DH, now I am pregnant and in my week 10. So, it really means we can get a normal pregnancy even though we are not so lucky in the first place. Come and read my profile on my page. I had gone thru more than ectopic but I am not giving up. You must not give up too. You will heal emotionally one day and you will be ready for a good pregnancy by then. Talk to me if you need, I will help you as far as I can :) Take care.

if you have a tubal it is not always the right tube to be removed they had to remove my left tube actually they removed it right on time if i would of waited a couple more hours i would of died.

Hey girl!! Sorry to hear about your lost. If i were you and tried to get pregnant again, I would just notify my doctor and let him know that Im trying for a baby so he can keep a monitor on you so if you did have another ectopic pregnancy again(which i hope you don't) things want be as drastic as they were when it was undetected!!! just pray about it, and God will lead u through!!! keep me posted
