24/01/2008 < 12 WEEKS PREGNANT >

Feeling ok today, tired tender but ok. Its 10.16am now and i have work at 2.30pm blah! Till 11pm. so be hard on the ol feet, must in vest in ted tights! And few pregnancy bits. But cant let be happy till first scan dont know whats going on in there so im so nervous, At my job they have a Ultra Sound Machine 2D. I was trying it out other evening but i didnt know where to look for baby all I could see was black and white shadows! and I hadnt drank water before hand. So this i think made more like "OH MY GOD! where my baby! Wonder where would my baby be in my belly at 12 weeks preg anyone know!! Sopose it be nice for me and my boyfriend to view first scan offical one together but im very impatient and worried just like how things are! Plus hearing so many horror stories from people, like baby growing in your tubes or stop growning like my friends did at 7 weeks and she didnt know till scan then started bleeding few days later was her second very upsetting! I just hope i get past this worrying ill be sick deep breaths roll on 6th of feb plzzzzz.

Yahoo!!!! I saw my baby for first time!!! I went and done the ultra sound on my belly my self yesterday. I drank water an hour before. Laid down on the chair bed at work, and hoped id see something! and I did there he/she was in base of my stomach! moving around lying on its back legs in air hand up, then turned its back arm lying on its side. Its An amazing thing! To see at just 12 weeks from 2D scan looks so human and complete! I rushed home to show my boyfriend as i took photos with my mobile i think you can copy whats on screen to a floppy disk or cd. But I know nothing about this machine as was my first time trying it out but i sopose i might figure it out after few goes ha. At least i know my baby is ok thank god, my professional scan is the 6th so bit more calm now that I saw my baby before this seemed so long away. Going to get a 3D or 4D scan done in later months cost few bob but worth be a amazing piece of art work cant wait. But for now I cant wait see baby again and Get BIG bump and feel my baby kick is most greatest thing! At moment no bump my size 12s uncomfortable now alright need new navy work pants there odd pants we have to wear high waisted? IM in love anyway hope baby be ok. Good luck to everyone mwah xxx

HELP!!!! AS you know i used an ultra sound 2D machine twice on my own now my mum and bf sister says it damage my baby!!!! How would it? Now im all worried again! I was worried before because ive knowing i was preg since 5 weeks so been my second and im more mature I felt that waiting for my first maternity app at nearly 14 weeks preg is so long away so went i discovered machine i was delighted! That i could view my baby. Now there telling me this im like omg what!!!! Trying to put it to back of my head as Jamie my first baby had good few scans professionally done and was ok they done them cause he was small he was 6lb 70z when born 11 days over due. He was a hard little boy to raise behaviour wise etc but hardly a scan damage a baby !!! Let me know!

FIRST ANTENATAL APPOINTMENT!!! @ 14 WEEKS PREGNANT!!!

APPOINTMENT WENT GRAND, BABY IS FINE, HE OR SHE WAS SLEEPING ON ITS BACK I AM 14 WEEKS PREGNANT DUE ON 2 ND OF AUGUST! BLOOD WORK WAS SORE! WAS NEROUS TODAY SEEN ALL THE MUMS TO BE WITH BIG BUMPS READY TO POP! i HAVENT A BUMP YET! WALKED DOWN VERY COORIDOOR I WALKED DOWN 9 MONTHS PLUS WITH MY FIRST SON JAMIE IN LABOUR AND THINKING OF THE PAINS AAAAARGH. 5 YEARS AGO. AND THERE I WAS TODAY 14 WEEKS WITH SECOND THINKING OH NOW HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN! DONT FEEL PREGNANT YET DOH! EVEN DOH I SAW SCAN ONLY SPENT 5 MINS DOING IT SO WAS BIT DISAPOINTED. GOT 3 SCAN PICS, BUNCH OF INFO BOOKLETS A SORE ARM AND A APPOINTMENT CARD GOING HOME. I HAVE NEXT SCAN IS IN JUNE! AND ANOTHER APP IN APRIL AND MAY ONE FOR TESTING OF DIABETES! AND A DOCTOR APP IN 4 WEEKS TIME! FEELING OK MYSELF JUST MY APPERANCE MY FACE IS GETTING SPOTS I NEVER NORMALLY GET SO NOT LIKING THAT! MY WEIGHT IS DEFINATELY GOING UP I WAS BIT OVER WEIGHT FOR MY HEIGHT BEFORE MY PREGNANCY SO THAT DIDNT HELP! TO WHAT I AM NOW! BUT WONT SAY WHAT I WEIGH HA! BUT ILL GET OVER IT EASYLY SHED IT AFTER BABY IS BORN I DID BEFORE AND REACHED 9ST 7LB WHICH WAS GOOD FOR ME AT 5FT 3IN. MIGHT TRY FOR 9 ST EVEN THIS TIME HA! BUT ALL IN ALL CANT WAIT TO GET A BUMP! AND SEE MY LIL ANGEL! SO DELIGHTED THIS ONE WAS PLANNED SO CANT WAIT TO START BUYING BABY CLOTHES ETC!

SO AS I HAVE MENTIONED ABOUT THE ULTRA 2D SOUND MACHINE AT WORK IV JUST COME TO REALISE SINCE MY FIRST APP THAT MACHINE IS ACTUALLY USED FOR DIALYSIS PATIENTS!!! IM WORRIED THIS MACHINE MIGHT BE HIGHER IN SOUND OR SOMETHING AND HARM MY BABY AS MY BOYFRIEND IS CROSS WITH ME OVER USING IT. MY FIRST MATERNITY SCAN WAS A LET DOWN THE WOMAN BERELY SPENT 5 MINS ON ME. AND PICTURES SHE GAVE ME WERENT AS GOOD. JUST RUSHED, I HOPE I DONT HAVE HER IN JUNE FOR MY NEXT SCAN. A STUDENT NURSE TOLD ME IT WAS OK TO USE ULTRASOUND BUT NOT SURE ABOUT A DIALYSIS ONE. MY BOYFRIEND ASKED THE WOMAN AT MATERNITY THAT DID MY FIRST ABOUT ME USING MACHINE AT WORK SHE SAID I SHOULNT BE AND WHERE I FIND THIS MACHINE ETC. SHE WAS SO ABRUTLY LOOKING WITH A FAKE SMILE ON HER. I JUST HOPE THIS REALLY IS NOT HURT MY BABY, AS IT WOULNT BE EVERYDAY I WOULD USE IT ONLY ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS OR SO JUST TO SEE MY BABY. I HAVE ONLY USED IT TWICE SO FAR. IF ANYONE KNOWS IF IT IS SAFE TO USE A 2D ULTRA SOUND MACHINE THAT THEY USE ON DIALYSIS PATIENTS OK TO USE ON PREGNANT WOMAN TO SEE BABY IS SAFE LET ME KNOW COMMENT MY PAGE ASAP PLZ THANK YOU VERY MUCH. 11/02/2008 ALMOST 15 WEEKS

So i am 15 weeks pregnant in 1 weeks time ill be 4 months woohoo!! no real bump yet im expecting one at least 5 months preg! so we shall see! was at doctors today as i felt dizzy and sick feeling getting ready for work whilst drying my hair, so my blood pressure was low and i was given iron tablets! to take along with my pregnant care vitamin and mineral tablets. and told to eat healthy. off work for 3 days and my son is at my mothers for 3 days to so its a break, too. I do be very tired and work awkward hours but i have to as i wont work weekends so this is only way. I stress out alot and be breathless and my moods are thru roof! lol. but ive to learn to take time out and relax! so im doing that for next 3 days including today. As if your stressed so is baby! also today for "FIRST TIME" i hear my babys "HEARTBEAT"!!! doctor used his doppler, could only hear my heart at first! Then switched to my lower right hand side of belly and found it. Was music to my ears baby is great so thank god. Baby dust to you all xxx

TO MY SWEETHEART MAGGIE, i LoVe YOU DEEP IN MY HEART AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE OUR BEAUTIFUL BABY THAT YOU HELPING TO GROW INSIDE YOU LOT OF LOVE JOHNNY XXX was sooooo cute. 01/03/08 18 WEEKS PREGNANT!!!

Hey hey, bought my buggy today a Quattro tour deluxe by Graco!! light chocolate brown with lime green detail and polka dots here and there. Got car seat base a light weight carrycot, cosy toes with it. For 400 euro from Smyths toy store! Its nice! I wanted a Jane buggy the colourful ones navy lime and baby blue but were too dear over 700 euros. I would of bought the Jane as it looked fab, because i like the carrycot idea and baby to lye down flat but most of these janes the car seat was the carrycot so you can imagine take up the whole car!! The 3 wheeler ones were dearer than the 4 wheels. 3 wheeler ones had a proper car seat but i just didnt like idea of having to use car seat in the buggy at any time only if i really had to. So if i didnt use car seat in buggy out and in of car and shopping i would have to use the carrycot and there huge no room in booth for them with shopping etc! So very awkward there big buggys either way you look at it to fold on its own etc. So Quattro is what myself and my boyfriend choosen together. Light weight carrycot is great. This what i wanted a buggy with carrycot. It is the buggy it self bit bulky when folded but all first buggys are going to be the same until child is older then you can buy them light pushchairs for summer etc. So im happy with my new buggy anyway and cant to put my baby in it! And all my next babies in it lol once it looks good and not too raggy by my 4th ha. Till be kept.

14/03/08 Friday. 19 WEEKS PLUS....

Hey Y,all. Im now 19 WEEKS!!!! Almost 5 months. How im feeling!- grand just tired as we have an added member to family a dog called her "MISSY". She golden labrador well cross breed but definately looks like a Labrador her mother is a Kerry Blue! Confusing ha. She is about 10 weeks old or so. Plenty of hyperness and sleepy and eats eats and eats. But she watching what she eats now ive noticed! Watching her figure ha!! So between her and my 5 year old Tis madness. Plus in process of doing up house so its all very blah, wishing things would get completed faster. Iv No bump yet I thought i had few weeks ago but just seems to be bloat and goes again! Looking forward to solid hard out there bump!! So at moment it dont seem real at all! Just feel like im fat. So hoping in the 24th week ill have something! Ill post that week and let ya know. I was 11 days over due with Jamie and he weighed 6lb 70z so maybe be same weight baby again. Not that im complaining no one wants to be huge either as extra weight kills you! I find im lazy too about putting on my creams for ol stretch marks but i have some already and my stomach isnt the wash board type. So youd be thinking why bloody bother im destroyed all ready!! I know im very bad today, I feel depressed alright, Im sick of work, and everyday chores, Sick of same ol thing every weekend doing nothing!! I work 2.30 till 11pm, mon to fri Im looking to be changed to 12pm to 6pm shift but that means to work 3 wknds in a row!! and I hate working wknds but I cant have it everyway so thats life for you! In perfect world id only work 3 days during wk. As id have to work keep sane. I wish i could just take off to some where hot!! and relax. Id love to go away next year for 3 months out in spain or somewhere! With the kids and the boyfriend, but he as a job as carpenter here, and says im silly and unrealistic thinking even about it. He cant get hols like me but we at our job can take 3 months but cash be coming out of my wages each week, coming up to 3 months out. I think its just soooo boring, need get away for good few months blah! I know my baby coming is something to look forward to but im just pissed off and cant help that. With awful weather here too its a downer! sorry to be a sulker.

19/04/08 @ 25 weeks pregnant!!!

So im at the 25 weeks, and my complaints to date are- Iv discovered i have "THrush"! how embrassing! Iv had it now 2 days and cant go docs till mon! Its sat today. Iv looked up net so its thrush alright. Its very itchy red dry and discharge is clear. Little bit burning. So its knownin as yeast infection! Most pregnant women get it due to hormones levels fluctuate! Iv just had a carton of yogurt its meant to help fight the infection some use yogurt on there private parts i just think that be bit too messy for me! lol. Other than this contraption of a problem, im out of work on sick leave because my lower back and belly stings on my left , In my line of work hours are fierce long and heavy work! But no the head people over my supervisors at work wont take me out of my current position! Because no one person at work will take on my positon there for they cant take me out till its filled! the bad part is im 25 weeks preg, and i havent many sick days left meaning i wont get paid but what can i do its awful they woulnt even but me up the wards to an easier shift! My bf says to ask my doc to write a letter to head that i cannot work in current position that i need a lighter shift as i need income! As iv baby on way and cant afford to be out of work for next few months and not paid when my sick days run out!!!

Other than this im flying it, doing up the house as well so its all go! I cant wait to see my little baby, and these problems over me! Please god.

AT 7PM THIS EVENING IM GETTING MY FIRST EVER 3D/4D SCAN DONE I CANNOT WAIT YAHOOOOOO!!! IM 27 WEEKS PREGNANT NOW! A WEEK OFF 7 MONTHS PREG! 13 WEEKS TO GO TILL DUE DATE ROLL ON!! CANT WAIT TO SEE MY LITTLE ONE! WEATHER HERE IN IRELAND HAS JUST HEATED UP! sO LOOKIN FORWARD TO GETTING MY FIGURE BACK TOO LOL! WHETHER TILL BE NICE IN AUG WHO KNOWS!! lETS HOPE IT IS SO CAN START MY WALKING WITH BUGGY AND HIT THE BEACH ETC! iV MATERNITY BLOODS APP TOMORROW DE BLAH!! AND DIABETES CHECK THIS MONTH TOO!

EVEN DOH IM TAKIN IRON TABS EACH DAY! i HAD SECOND PART OF MY 4D SCAN DONE! 44 BLACK AND WHITE AND 44 COLOUR 1S 2 DVDS. WAS 220 EURO BUT WORTH IT! ALL MONEY HERE IN IRELAND PAY FOR EVERYTHING MEDICAL. NEXT 2D SCAN IS 9TH OF JUNE IN HOSP IM ASKING WHAT IS WEIGHT OF MY BABY IT SHOULD BE 3-4LB BY THEN BE 31 WEEKS PREG HOPING IT BE AVERAGE BABY NOT BIG! THING I WONDER IS I KNOW IM OVER WEIGHT A BIT FOR MY HEIGHT AND IV GAINED 35 LB BY 27 WEEK PREG! MY FIRST SON WAS 6LB 70Z. BUT WONDERING WHAT HE HAS GAINED IF IV GAINED WHOPPIN 35LB!! i TRY EAT HEALTHY BUT CANT ALWAYS SO CALS ADD UP! BUT ILL SHED IT ALL AFTER BABY JUST GONNA ENJOY MY PREGNANCY NOT WORRY OH CANT EAT THAT CAUSE TOO MANY CALS! iM GONNA ENJOY SMALL CREAM BUN IN A MIN HA!!! 21st of May 2008 @ 29 PLUS WEEKS PREG...

Sos today I had my glucose test done they said they only ring me if something is wrong!!! So im hoping its ok and i dont have diabetes! I met 2 lovely girls at the maternity, in same week as me! 29 weeks plus days, But we have different due dates which is weird! Why i wonder! Think were due in around same week but different days spaced out! Sos we chatted away! Was stuck in there for 2 and half hours! Starving! As you have to fast from night before! Then drink lucozade for them! Whilst takin 2 lots of bloods off you! My next is my scan on the 9th of june! Which one of the girls i met has scan same day so its cool ha!

2 girls are 28 years old, one is on her second like i am! Other is on her 3rd! and im 24 yr on my second! So could say 10 weeks 4 days to go till due date for me anyway cant wait!!!! I still sense im expecting a boy! If so ill have 2 boys! My mind wont let me near girl clothes its weird! So i keep lookin at boys as i dont know the sex! I was thhinking buying 1 boy outfit 1 girl! But even at that in my mind its saying only buy 1 boy outfit! So there for ill be very shocked if it ends up been a girl!!

I wanna buy a cute newborn jeans and jean jacket like i had for my first son it was soooooooo cute! And baby blue little hat! Just to search for it now! is the thing! Must buy my belly cast too and keep it put away till im nearer the 9 month! Might pop to city tomorrow and look at all baby clothes shops! Id say cute small nikie tracksuit be cute too! Just cant wait till my little baby is here everyone thinks from my 4d scan pics its a boy too! All i can do is wait and see!!

It will drag from here on now!! Sob i feel it now. Its all a waiting game on i roll!! x

I think ill write any further updates in my blogs save room on my page getting very looooooooooong there lol!!!
