Hello all. My name is Yaicha. I am married to my wonderful Husband, Derek. Together, we have a little 3 year old, well, almost 4 year old named Makenna. We just found out last week we were expecting again. We are very excitied. This will be our last pregnancy. Makenna is very excitied to be a big sister, and we are ready to add another member to our happy family.

Well, I am a little bummed. I was supposed to go in for my 8 week appointment today. I got a call 1 hour before telling me that my doctor had a patient go into labor, so I had to reschedule. I don't know why I am so worried with this pregnancy. I want to hear a heartbeat, make sure everything is okay. With my first, I didn't worry about anything. Everything was perfect. Oh well, guess I will go to the doctor on the 26th, and will promise to give you all an update. Just needed to vent. So far so good, 8 weeks along and no morning sickness. Just really tired.

My husband and I went in for my second appointment. I hadn't gained any weight...YEA!! The doctor and I talked about my headaches, they never seem to go away and my constipation (depressing). Hopefully, I can get those two things out. Other than that and being tired, I have been feeling okay. She went ahead and tried to hear the heartbeat, and we got to hear it. It was 160, which she said was fast, but it should be fast at 9 weeks. I really don't know what that is supposed to mean. We were so thrilled to hear that little heartbeat...it was the best feeling. I don't go back in again until the end of March, the 26th to be exact. So far all is good!!

Good afternoon! Monday after a time change. BLAH!! This time change has kicked my booty. I am feeling okay. Last week, I had a burst of energy and was not as tired by the time I got home in the evening. Let's hope I have another week. The headaches have laid off a little. I put my two weeks in at my job, so I know getting rid of the stress will help me out a lot. Derek spent the last weekend with the help of my Dad redoing our bedroom and bathroom. Our next project will be the baby room when we find out "hopefully" what we are having. Makenna has been being such a good little girl and Derek has been so sweet. He rubs my feet for me every night in bed. I am very lucky to have a great husband. Oh I forgot, I am on the search for good maternity jeans, any good ideas? My mom bought me a super cute top, but I need some jeans. I can't wear mine anymore, they are hurting my tummy. God bless all you ladies!! I love hearing from you all!

Good day!! Little late updating, but had an appointment today. Everything went well, just went over the blood work she ran the last time, everything came out fine, and then I got weighed, YUCK! I had gained another 2 pounds. Not to bad, 4 so far. The heartbeat was in the 160's again. I got in again, on April 22nd. Seems like forever. But then we will be close to get our first and only ultrasound at 17-20 weeks. Feeling pretty well. Not as many headaches. Which is great!

Just thought I would give a little update. Cold is offically gone, and I am back to realty. YEA! We had a great weekend, worked, did some yard work, Makenna (our little girl) started soccer, and spent some good family time. I have been feeling really good, lots of energy, and not hardly any headaches. Still 2 more weeks from Thursday until my next doctor's appointment. At that appointment, is when I get to make my ultrasound appointment. Hopefully it will be shortly after that one. I can't take it any longer. I want to know what we are having so bad. Not that I care either way, just want the baby to be healthy! Hope all your soon to be mommies are great, take care and keep in touch! MUAH!

Good evening!! Well, it has been a while since I have updated on this. Not to much has really changed. Belly is growing, I seem to move slower and slower every day. I keep "thinking" I am feeling the baby move, but I am not for sure. How did I forget what it felt like with my first??? Hum, anyways, I can't wait to really start feeling the baby move. This is finally the week that I get to go to the doctor. On Thursday, at that appointment we will get to schedule our ultrasound. YEA YEA YEA!! I hope they can get us in soon. I am so ready to know if we are having a boy or a girl. Not that we care either way, as long as its healthy. 17 weeks and feeling good, just having lots of stretching. Guess the baby is trying to clear space for him or herself!! Hope all you other mommies are well. Until next time!!

Good evening, yeap, it is me again!! Well, we finally had our appointment today. Normal event, go in pee in the cup, go see the doctor. She let Makenna put the "jelly" on my tummy and use the dopplar, the babies heartrate was 140, the last couple time it has been in the 160's so now the doctor thinks that the heart rate will be more consistent now that I am farther along in my pregnancy. Guess in the beginning, it tends to be a little higher. Then she measured me, I was 17, I guess the normal is between 20-40. I had gained 4 pounds, so that puts me up to 8 pounds for the whole pregnancy. The best news yet is to come. We got our u/s scheduled for TUESDAY at 9:15 am. YEA YEA YEA!!! I won't go back to the doctor for 5 weeks, she wants to get me on track so when I get down to every week it will be to schedule. Well, will chat more on Tuesday! Yep, you guessed it we are having a BOY!! We couldn't believe it, we didn't get very far into the ultrasound when the tech said we were having a boy. I still can't believe it. For real! I added the pictures. He did all the measurements and he said he was measuring ahead of schedule, I am 18 weeks and 3 days, and he was measuring 19 weeks and 6 days. Nothing that they will change the due date or anything, but he might be a big boy. Fine with us, his heart was beating away, spine and all the body parts are wonderful. He has the same nose as my husband and daughter! He was moving all over the place, but would not uncross his legs at all. The tech really had to trick him to get a decent or somewhat picture of his GOODS. He wanted to make sure the umbilical cord was out of the way, and it was. I am so glad he is healthy and we finally know what we are having. Still can't believe it!

Good evening! It has been a while since I tried to update. 21 weeks already, wow, time seems to be going by faster. We acutally went and had another 2d/3d/4d u/s. It was great. We totally got our reassurance that we are totally having a boy. My Mom has been going crazy, getting wonderful deals at garage sales. She is so good at it. We have sleepers, outfits, onesizes, blankets, and so much more. It is amazing how much stuff people sale, and for how cheap. It has helped us out a lot b/c we can't afford to go out and buy everything brand new. She also got us a bouncy seat, exersaucer and a cute bath tub. I have been trying to pick up diapers here and there, and wipes. Whenever I catch something on sale and have a coupon. We are trying to find the bedding we are going to use for Kolby's room and we are having a hard time. I think I found a really cute one, but I have to run it by Derek. I would like for him to get started on the room. Here is a picture I took of myself, it was at 18 weeks. Kisses and hugs to all the mommies and mommies to be!

Well, I went to the doctor today, Thursday. Pretty much a short appointment. I didn't gain any weight, which is fine with me, I am sure I will catch up towards the end of the pregnancy. Kolby's heartrate was in the 150's, she measured me, but I forgot what she had said. She gave Derek and I something because we both had a very bad chest cold. I don't go back to the doctor until July 3, I will be 28 weeks then. She is trying to get me back on schedule, so I have had 5 weeks between my last two appointments. Hope all is going well for the rest of you ladies.

Good evening!! Hope all of you ladies are well. I have updated in a while. I have been out of commission for the last couple of weeks, I had shingles. YUCK! The worst thing, I have ever been through. For those of you who don't know, it is what lays dorminat in your body after you have chicken pox. Becuase my immune system was so low, with being sick and already being pregnant, I caught it. Thank goodness I have an incredible HUSBAND and MOMMY!! They nursed me right back to good health. Other than that, I have felt wonderful. I can't complain at all. I am growing like crazy, and it is finally nice on the weekends, so I can get some SUN. Yea. Anyways...next appointment is not until July 3rd. YEA!! MUAH to you all!!

Good evening! Hope you all had a wonderful 4th. I am late to blog about my appointment on the 3rd. Everything went well. When I got there they went ahead and had me take my glucose test, all must be well, since I have not heard back from them yet ( it is 7/8). Yea, I was glad to get that out of the way. I had only gained another 4 pounds, so that puts me at 10 for the whole pregnancy. YEA! I was 17 cm the last time she measured me, this time I was 29, guess we have done some growing. Heartbeat sounded great, and Makenna found it right away. Kolby is so active, he is moving all around and feeling him all the time. It seems like that anyways. But I love it. Nice to know he is in there and growing!! I go back in 2 weeks, and will continue to go every 2 weeks, until I hit 34 weeks. Then, we will be going every week. WOW!! We are slowly but surely getting there!! Lots of love your way!! MUAH!! Hugs and kisses to you all!! P.S. I added some pictures to Kolby's All Star Room, check them out. Well, I am super late. Had a good two week check up, babies heart beat sounded good...and I had gained another 4 pounds I think. I will go back on the 1st of August. I passed my glucose test, but my iron count was kind of low, so I am taking an iron vitamin every day. I am not keen on that iron pill BOLOGNA!! For real. Kolby is kicking and moving like crazy!! I can't wait to see him. We are slowly doing little things to his room, we are almost there. I just can't wait to hold my little man!!!

Well, yet another lovely doctors appointment. I had went in on Monday to see the other doctor in my office, because I thought I had strep and another really bad rash that I broke out in over the weekend. Needless to say, no strep and rash he thought was heat rash. This doctor was horrible. I will never see him again, he made me feel so small and that my problems were nothing big. Because of my shingles episode I wanted to make sure I didn't have another funky rash. By thursday of this week, I was MISERABLE. I called my doc and she put me on something for my sinus infection right away. Friday, she looked at my rash and thought that it might be a pregnancy rash you can get in your third trimester, however, after Saturday I figured out what it was. I am getting a reaction to the chemicals in my parents swimming pool, because it was almost cleared up and I spent all day in the pool on Saturday and woke up to the same rash WORSE this time this morning. YUCK! It itches so bad, I just lube myself up with cortorizone cream on the regular. Back to the doctors appoitment, I had lost of couple of pounds, but she thinks that is because of me being sick. When she went to measure me, I was measuring at 34 weeks, instead of the almost 32 I was. She isn't going to change my due date, but is thinking I may go early. She said she won't change anything unless I am 4 weeks ahead of myself. Kolby's heartbeat was great and he was kicking all over. All and all, not to shabby, if I can get rid of my FUNKY rash and cold I will be GOOD TO GO!! Lots of love to you all, stay inside and stay COOL!!

Hello, hello....hope all is well with all my prego ladies and mommies!! We had yet another appointment on Friday. All was well, I was measuring at 36 weeks, and was just getting ready to acutally turn 34 weeks. My doc still is set on not changing my due date or anything until I start measuring more like 3-4 weeks ahead. Fine with us, we are just hoping he might decide to come early. His heartbeat was strong and healthy in the 140's. We go back on the 28th, and then from there on it will be every week until D day. I am added a couple new pictures. Enjoy!! P.S. Super excitied for this coming Sunday, I get to have my baby shower, my mom, sister, and two of my besties are throwing it for me. I can't wait. I have the best friends and family so it should be a great time. I will make sure to post pictures for the too. LOVE TO YOU ALL!!

Hey hon! How are you doing? I am good today. We have changed Luca's middle name to James after my husbands father's cousin or something like that. He just passed away and we want to always remember him. He was so loving and caring. I know in my head that I am pregnant but my heart only thinks about the weight. I think that I am over it. I am not the type of person to do anything drastic though. My so will be almost 8 when Luca comes. So that is why I have nothing left. I have to run to eat dinner. Have a great weekend hon. Yeah we had to set it up the minute it got here! I am just weird about stuff like that.I just HAD to see it by the table in the kitchen.I think his mom thinks I am over baring.She is the one who got it for us and she called and was like "Well does Lindsay approve of it."She lives in Nebraska so she isn't ever down here.She also thinks I am nuts b/c I don't "love" being pregnant like she did.We won't even go into the whole "you HAVE to breast feed talk."I really don't like to say much to David b/c it is his mom & all.I just told her I want us to buy certain things for the baby.

It's great to have a support system...I've had the flu twice and strep plus I went into an anaplahtic shock all since Feb. so I know what it is to feel SICK!!! I told him that it was time for him to figure out what he wants in life and so on. He is on the ball and he has already lost a little weight this past week. I had my first son on October 18,2000. I need new everything. I have nothing left. I have my registry online so I can see what people have picked out and what I will need to buy. I have a crib, changing table, bouncy seat, Swing, Highchair, etc. that are all hand me downs but they are in really good shape. Winnie the Pooh is good for boys. I did that with Taylor. So i posted one pic from the ultra sound, although I am a lil disappointed with the pics. My lil boy was moving around so much that the pictures came out so blurry. The pic I posted he is smiling. When we viewed it on the ultra sound screen it was as clear as day, and then the pic makes him look funny. ANyways baba is good, so thats all that matters at the end of the day yes.

Sorry to hear about the shingles, know that must be a real pain in the ass right now. Just take it super easy, and bathe yourself down in calamin lotion.
Today I was actually in the doc office waiting to see my doctor, and there was a lil kid in there with chicken pox. Thank goodness I had that already, cuz I really aint bound to get it at this stage.
My appointment today went well though, and my little man is looking really great. I need to scan the pics and put on the site. Will do that later.

My husband went to the specialist today and he has to test every day now twice a day. He will learn how to control it. Just with diet and excersize. He has an appointment with a dietician on July 3rd.

I am so happy you are feeling better. I also remember the relief that we felt when we hit that magic 12 week mark and the when we were halfway there. Now it is just a waiting game. My little man has been so active lately. I registered at Babies R Us. I have to get almost everything again. I have almost all of the big stuff except the stroller and the car seat. I will just have to see who gets what and then I will figure it out from there.

I was almost in tears last night because I have been weighing myself every week at my MIL's house on their scale and I did it last week and it read 152.5 then I did it yesterday and it read 157.6.

I have gained 5.1 pounds in a week. WTF!!!

That kind of upset me in a way. I did not like that result at all. But I will just have to work out a lot after Luca gets here. I will TTYL MUAH!!!!!!

I am glad to hear you are feeling better!! As for the pictures, no- she does not do this for a living- we are both nurses who love photography. I did the same ones for her last year... Your profile didn't say where you are from... I am in Maryland... if you were close I would do them for you... I did not have these done with the other pregnancies so I am so happy I have these. I plan on getting more done around 30 weeks (with Sean and the boys...)

i dont remember what kind of bottles we put down. i know we got some that use just those "drop in" bags, also some of those ones the are at an angle, and the ones that go with the breast pump.
we pretty much registered for every thing i think we'll need. i'm so excited! it was alot of fun, and i cant wait to see what we actually get!

Goodness that stinks about the shingles. What are they telling you to do about it? Have they given you anything for it?

My husbands mom has type 2 diabetes as well but it is mostly because we eat alot of carbs and he is overweight. He will be seeing the specialst tomorrow and they will give him some more details on it. He just needs to take care of himself and he needs to do it now. I am not his mother. YA KNOW!!!!

You need to get rid of the shingles. It is bad news. Have you ever had the chickenpox before? Usually it would not happen if you have had them before.

I have registered at Babies R Us for some of the stuff that I need. I picked up the crib yesterday. I registered for the Nautica sailbots themed stuff. It is what me and Mike wanted. I can not wait till he is here. My SIL is due any minute with her little girl. Her actual due date was yesterday and she is so ready to go. It has been like mid to upper 90's and so humid for the past 4 days. It is horrible. If it was just heat it would be OK but the humidity sucks. I am feeling good other than that. i've been feeling pretty good thanks! sleeping is getting to be hard. its hard to stay comfortable. and the millions of pee breaks dont help either! lol
we went to register for our baby shower this weekend. that was SO much fun! we had to drive an hour out of our way to the closest Babies R us, but it was worth it, we went through every single aisle and picked what we'd need. it was great.

My weekend was nice, spent most of it organizing the baby's room. The crib and my ottoman rocker arrived, so my hubby mounted the stuff up. Actually the room is close to finished after all the work we did in it, but still has somethings that need to be done. "some finishing touches" Have time, so not rushing those things yet. I love going into the almost ready room though, it is sorta my happy place now! hehe

eeef! My dad got shingles one time.. I am scared to death of getting them!Things are great NO MORE WEDDINGS! Finally getting the baby shower stuff together!We are having it the 26th now instead of the 19th.I am expecting a pretty good turn out.Half of them are pregnant too though!Oh man some girl wrote on the forum deal about how baby showers are just to make other people who don't have kids jealous.I was like wtf?
