My husband and I have been married for nearly ten years. We started trying to have a baby in January of 2006. We went through a great deal to get pregnant. After months of trying on our own, 4 cycles of Clomid, and 2 IUI's we finally got pregnant!

I found out on January 16th that IT'S A BOY! I really didn't care for one or the other gender either way, but once I knew, I was thrilled!

DARWIN PATRICK HUFF was born on May 25th, 2008 at 10:25am. He was 7lbs, 14oz and 22 inches long. He is healthy and handsome and much loved by everyone he meets!

HAH! Baby boners! That's what I call them too! The first time my son got one was in the bathtub, I almost died! I had to call my friend who has an older son just to make sure it was normal!

no all my pedi said was shes on the curve. And he thinks were crazy because we asked if she could be crawling soon because shes trying to. (he also said shes early with the rolling...so why cant she be trying to crawl lol)

Hey thank you for the advice you sent me regarding ICP. When I found out that I had it, I started researching it like crazy! My doctor was able to diagnose me correctly but other than that it's like he really didn't have a clue. First off, he had me on the wrong medication (Cholestyramine, rather than Urso) so I had him change my meds. LOL,I had to be the one to tell the doc that he had prescribed me the wrong stuff! Not only that but he wasn't gonna induce me in time. I guess when he realized how serious this is and that he was not gonna back me into a corner, his whole demeanor changed. He actually called a specialist right there in front of me and she had to be the one to say "no later than 37 weeks, for delivery" I guess he just didn't believe me. Anyhow, he induced me at 36 wks and 2 days on a Sunday and I had my beautiful baby boy the following day! Thank you so much for the advice, I really needed it. BTW, sorry for the late reply...

I am having the same problem. I can't decide on where to go. There is like a dozen places that I can think of, but quite honestly, I'd be happy to stay at home with my hunny if no one disturbed us and some else watched over Henry for a few days.

ack! - Thursday, 2 October
Oh, I am glad to hear that. We are doing really well, very tired though. Henry keeps growing like a weed. Yesterday he reached out a grabbed a toy. It was the coolest thing in the world. It made me tear up - yes, I've becoome a sap. :)

We are getting married in Feb, so on top of new mom stuff I am also filling my hours with wedding stuff. I am soooo looking forward to that honeymoon.

That is good news. I am glad to hear that. How is the rest of the family?

Thank you, I actually applied Aquaphor several times, but I have not been consistent with it. I'll try more.

I think I am going to make an appointment with the OB. I just don't think it is a lube problem at this point. I really think there must be something wrong with me. :(

How are you doing?

Congrats on deciding to try again for another baby, I wish we could, but the hubby just isn't ready and we can't really afford it right now. I wish you luck and lots of baby dust for your efforts! hopefully you'll be able to do it all on your own this time and your baby boy paved the road for your future baby/babies!

friends of our just got preg with ivf and they said all the fert stuff was expensive and has wiped them out. so if you think it is going to take a while start saving and if you fall preg without fert then use the money on maternaty clothes or baby things. baby dust.

I always had very irragular periods growing up. I wanted to have baby number 2 and the doctors actually gave me clomid, first they give me some drug to make me have a cycle and then when I was done taking those pills I took clomid, it actually only took me one month of clomid for me to get prego. We tried for 2 years before we got pregnant again.

here is something that is good to know................ Raise a good sleeper A typical newborn sleeps between 16 and 18 hours a day, and your baby should be physically able to sleep through the night — that is, sleep for at least six to eight hours straight — sometime between 6 weeks and 6 months of age. In fact, by 3 months, more than 90 percent of babies can and do sleep through the night, although they may still have weeks of night waking due to growth spurts or developmental changes. Exactly when this magical milestone happens can vary greatly, depending both on your baby's individual development and the healthy sleep habits you establish. Some hints: Create a consistent bedtime routine. Doing things in the same way every evening at about the same time helps your baby, who can't tell time, get the idea that sleep is expected soon. Example: Bathe, dress for bed, feed, rock until drowsy but not asleep, place in crib. Set the scene for sleep. When you put your baby to bed, the lights should be off and curtains drawn. Use a crib light or a night-light to give you just enough light to see by. Keep the room quiet or use a white-noise machine or lullaby CD to block out sounds from the rest of the house. Don't wait until your baby is asleep in your arms. Put your baby down to sleep when he's drowsy but still awake. This helps him learn to fall asleep on his own, without being rocked or fed to sleep. If he awakens on his own later, he'll be better able to go back to sleep without needing to cry out for you to rock him.
