Hi! This site seems great! I have been looking to talk with other pregnant women, and I like the pics everyone has..

I am going to try to upload some pictures now! Our lil girl Shea Lilah is due march 19th and she is already huge. I gained 40 pounds already, and I started at a size 2 so now I am a basketball. The weight gain has slowed because the initial was due to the fact that the doc told me to eat bread and cheese all day because all i did was puke. I feel much better now, just huge and some back pains and leg cramps..

Hi guys. Went to a pre christmas party last night. Family from husband's side. There were some people there i never met and the first thing they talked about was my huge stomach (the women). 'she's all stomach,' 'wow, youre big' 'you sure its not twins'. Snore ;) It is nice to have a bunch of women around looking forward to a new baby, i know i am. Shea is kicking up a storm, and my stomach is beginning to get really hard above the weird dark spot belly botton. Next medical thing is the glucose test on the 26th (eek) and a cbc, and then starting the biweekly appts on the 4th. First get through the holidays! only four more houses!

The holidays were so busy i was exhausted for a week afterwards..we both were. I had some bh contractions and went to the hospital to get monitored and make sure that is all they were. All is fine. I am having less pain this week, but more dizziness and nausea, feeling faint. Nothing too horrific though. I am huge and have gained 47 pounds! Think its in my genes to gain a lot and then lose quickly, mom did for all three pregs. Shea kicks all the time and we both can see and feel and its wonderful. Start childbirth class on tues (3 sessions). I am looking forward.

Hi all. Childbirth class got changed until tomorrow. It was postponed one week because the instructor was ill. I am looking forward to that. I am feeling pretty good except extremeeeeeeee fatigue hits me a few times a day and i have to go rest it away. Love the pregger pillow! I had a pretty horrible labor dream the other day, but most of them aren `t as heinous. I guess I think about delivery/healthybaby stuff about 890 times a day now;)

Hey all! Shower on Sunday, and then I will put the furniture in the nursery and see what else we have to pick up ourselves. Our last birthing class is tonight due to a snow cancellation on the first class. Last class was fun because most of us couldnt help but crack up at some point. The placenta coming out on the particular movie we saw was strange to see and we are still making jokes about that. And a giggle chain went through the class (of which we are on the younger side- we are 30 and 31!) during the hee hee hee breathing. Spent some time with my pregger friend (37 weeks) yesterday, and took a fun belly picture together which I will soon post. If our girls become friends, they can have a pic together before birth! We are seeing about paternity leave etc. Love to have Mike at home as much as possible!! Things are moving along. I had one of the worst, if not worst, nightmares I have ever had last night. It was about my fears I guess. It spooked me so I watched some Ellen Degeneres and drank some milk. Husband hugged me, listened, turned on all the lights for me, and walked me to the tv. Such a sweety. My boobs are officially humungous-37 g. They were pretty big before 32d, but sheesh. Nursing bra lady called them porn boobs! I hope all is well with your pregnancies.

Hi all! Well the shower was overwhelming and tiring, but it was great to see friends and family, and we got so many things for the baby. Really more than i expected, not that i knew what to expect. My mother in law is a lovely woman and put the whole thing together. My sweet mom came but the poor thing has a few broken ribs from horsebackriding so she tried to take it easy. Was nice to have them both there. Surprisingly people traveled from out of state to come and my pregnant friend was so helpful, as she had just had hers and was quite good at keeping track of presents etc..I have gaine about 53 pounds ha! i was so tiny pre pregs altho my weight is never THAT low because im so muscular, and even though i look a lot bigger, i oddly dont see a huge person. just round and very pregs!! baby looks healthy last checkup, and so am I. today i am suffering with a crappy head cold and have been for a few days so I am not in the best mood, but just trying to rest and focus on all the good in my life. OUr lil fish fanny broke her mouth being a pig and i hope she wont die. poor thing. I have started the nursery and all kinds of last minute house rearrangement, and have to put it on hold while im sick which is hard for a busybody like me! Did take care of some major paperwork issues last week. Hopefully Ill feel better in a few days and finish everything up and get the packing for the hospital done. I can `t believe we will have our lil girl soon. I know she is coming but still its hard to wrap my mind around the whole thing. I get all kinds of paranoid about health and sids etc but i know that all moms worry about that, and usually all is fine. also i seem to worry more when I am sick and can `t get up so i just try to ignore myself!! I hope you all are well!

HI all..Well I am 35 weeks 2 days now! I have just finished the baby `s room. Yay!! Pictures are under the pic link at the top of blog..I had a horrible cold for ten days but it cleared up a couple days ago, thank God. I am glad I didn `t need antibiotics. I was an emotional wreck because i was so tired and sick, but feel much better now, although my back is back to killing me because I don `t sleep as much..oh well. My friend Tricia had her baby (she was five weeks ahead of me) on the 9th and what a cutie. Mike and I will go to meet her (baby Fiona) on Sunday, and Tricia says she has some tips for me!! I still thing about labor and delivery a bunch, but I am aware I am not the first woman in space or something...Many women do it, so its not that terrifying to me. But I get anxious and excited. Hope all are doing well!!

Hi all! 37weeks one day oh man!! I had lots of contractions last weekend, and they started when i was getting some maternity clothes. I got slightly delirious at the mall and a nice mom helped me to my car!! I need lots of rest these days. Baby shea is measuring at 37 weeks, 150 heartbeat, quite active, she loves it in there! Nursery is done, bags are packed, we can `t wait to meet her! Doc said cervix has moved to labor position but no effacement/dilation yet. She said with the first baby, it prob won `t happen till right before labor so who knows! I would rather Shea come BEFORE her due date, but if she doesn `t want to, I am just glad she is healthy! I am trying to walk as much as possible, it helps my spirits and my back pain, but some days i really can `t do it (if I have already done too much housework). Two of my friends have recently popped out their lil babies, one girl, one boy, so maybe Shea will have some lil friends!! Good luck to all, and hope you feel good.

Hello there! My ob/gyn practice has four docs that are each different and it is definitely easier to see some rather than others. Than tell me differing things, and the one I saw last is a downer. At my appt, my bp was higher than even (it is usually very low), I was swollen, and measuring big all of a sudden. The practice does not induce until after due date i think a week and they have my due date a week late because they go by last period rather than ultrasounds or implantation bleeding as long as there is not 2 weeks diff. In my case, its a week. The whole thing annoys me. However, each nurse and doc gives me a slightly diff story. At this point I think the baby is very big and I have no idea if i will be able to deliver vaginally. Also I am very uncomfortable and have deep aches in my arms and legs. Two weeks ago doc told me to walk every day (which i was doing) and then bratty doc told me to rest all the time. Not that i have much energy this week. Anyway, I guess I am just going to wait and see what happens. I am not dialated AT ALL. good luck to all, have a good one.
