hello ladies my name is ladawna i am a 21 yr. young mother. this is my 4th pregnancy but my 3rd baby. we have a boy noah (7-29-03) and a little girl jade (11-28-06) we lost a baby on oct. 11th of 05 due to a miscarriage. this baby is a BOY and will be here on or around 4-20-08. his name will be nathan ross and he is the last addition to our proud family. i am married to matthew he was my highschool sweetheart. we married when i was 16 so nearly 5 yrs. ago well if you want to know more just ask! congrats to everyone!

10/6/07- wow can't believe i will be 12 weeks tomorrow already.time has been really flying by for me my nausea has finally let up a bit hubby is happy i can cook again cause there for a while the smell of the food while i was cooking it made me so sick. my breasts are still very sore but i love my sports bras i didn't wear one with my previous pregnancies and i got huge fast but this time its slower and less painful! well dinner time congrats ladies on your pregnancies!

10/7/07- 12 weeks today i am so happy! well i was in alot of pain today my inlaws almost took me to the hospital but we located the problem my skirt was a bit too tight and was stopping me from standing up pain free. so i changed into a pair of my MIL's sweat pants and felt 100% better. so in easier terms time to go shopping. its just so hard to find maternity pants that i like i hate straight legged pants i am not saying anything bnad to those who wear them but they just aren't my style. well i have to get off here

10/9/07- hello ladies! well today has been going okay i guess i don't care what any of you think of me i am trying, i have went so far all day without a cigarette and i have the worse migraine i have also went all day without caffeine so needless to say i am going nuts. noah won't tkae a nap jades swing is broken so she is having a hard time napping.. i dunno i am just having a bad day i guess besides all that i havn't had any sickness woo hoo! well i guess thats all for now i have to go get noah he is out of the bed again!

10/11/07- hey ladies, well we go get our puppy tomorrow i am so excited her name is molly and she is a bessenji/terrier mix. anyways look at the video above i love it it reminds me so much of my son and husband well i am feeling pretty good today today is payday so i actually get to get dressed up today. well jade is up from her nap.

10/13/07-- well today has been good so far, i haven't gotten sick but my pregnancy memory is getting worse and worse i keep forgeting where i put things or even how to spell, LOL! i know it sounds funnny but it really gets irratating i end up in tears half the time. my bb's aren't really sore anymore but they are continuing to grow i have vowed to stay in my sports bras but i am about a double d now. hubby is liking it, LOL! my cravings are also slowing down i did crave ice cream today but the shop was closed so we got scribble pops instead so it should hold me for a couple of days till i can't stand the taste anymore. well thats all for now. god bless all you ladies

10-16-07- well i have been waking up ithe last couple of days really congested i just figured it was another pregnancy symptom and now today i feel like crap i'm congested, sneezing, my whole body aches and all i have been doing is coughing if i get any worse i am just gonna go to the e.r. and get some meds that are safe to take. i almost got the flu shot the other day but didn't want to pay the extra 30 bucks. now i wish i would have. tylenol is crap it isn't helping anything not even my headaches. well i am headed to bed goodnight ladies!

10/18/07- WELL I AM STARTING TO FEEL A TAD BETTER STILL COUGHING ALOT BUT I HAVE STOPPED VOMITING SO THATS A PLUS BUT NOW MY 10 MONTH OLD AND HUBBY IS SICK. MY SON HAS BEEN AT MY MOMS CAUSE HE HAS ASHTMA AND GETS SICK VERY EASILY BUT HE IS COMING HOME TONIGHT I MISS HIM TOO MUCH! I CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS BABY IS HERE AND TO HAVE MY FAMILY COMPLETE. WEEK 13 WILL BE OVER SUNDAY AND ON TO 14 IT HAS WENT BY SO FAST HOPEFULLY ALL THE WEEKS WILL DO THE SAME WELL LADIES I HAVE TO GO GET MY BABY SHE IS COUGHING PRETTY BAD!

10/21/07- well we made it to 14 weeks i am calling the doctors office tomorrow to set up my first appointment i can't wait. well my upper respitury infection is doing better and today was the first day in a week i didn't have a migraine so i was happy. i don't care what doctors say i know i feel the baby moving not alot just a little movement here and there and being this my 3rd pregnancy that made it this far i know its not gas. anyways- we carved pumpkins tonight we had a blast noah never cares for it he hates the insides but little jade was into it. she kept trying to eat it. so cute. well ladies i am off to bed!

10-25-07- well today has been good i guess i got my prescription filled and it is making me feel tons better already only prob is now hubby is sick, i don't want it to come back around. so i tried to make my 1st docs appointment but my phone kept dieing on me, figures, right! so i am going to try again tomorrow hopefully i will get through. you have to wait long enough to get an appointment i don't know why i put this off to the last minute.i am the worlds worse presrastinator or however it is spelled. well it is 12:25 a.m. so i am going to get into bed i have a long day tomorrow of phone calls and bill paying! night ladies

10-30-07- hello ladies well i got my paperwork in the mail for the doctors office i have to take it in with me on friday. i have been doing really well. although i have been extra tired i will blame that on walking 2 1/2 hrs. saturday and then tonight for trick-or-treating. the good news is we got a phone call tonight from my BIL his wife just found out today that she is pregnant she went to the e.r. cause she was faint and feeling really sick they told her she has the stomach flu and she is pregnant she is really excited she has been trying since her may 19th wedding. okay thats about it for tonight i will update again friday after my 1st docs. appointment!

11/17/07-well ladies i went in for my ultrasound today as scheduled. the tech took al the measurments and everything. she confirmed my suspition that it is indeed a little boy. he weighed in at 8 oz. and was proud to show us his little man hood. his heart rate was 163 bpm so he is on target. he is a little jumping bean too! he was doing flips and everything. the tech said there he is kicking your full bladder i was like yeah i know thanks for tellin' me, LOL! well thought i would let you ladies know i have a little NATHAN ROSS cooking in the oven!

1-1-08--happy new years ladies! wow can't believe i can finally say my baby will be here this yr. i'm 24 weeks now-woo hoo getting closer and closer to the end. its sorda sad though seeing as this will be our last baby i am getting my tubes tied after he arrives. everything has been going well though since i last updated i had a little depression but its over now thank goodness i hated feeling that way. we haven't gotten much done in getting ready for nathans arrival--i am such a procrastinator we did get the rooms switched since we have a 2 bedroom we gave the kids our big room and we have taken the smaller one. we aren't going to get nathan a bed though seeing as noah is almost 5 he will be in july so we are getting him a set of bunk beds which he has been asking for, and handing his toddler bed down to jade she will be about 19 months as of then and will be able to sleep in it with the rails on. so her crib will be nathans. he is going to sleep in a bassinet which thankfully i kept from jade in our room till he is about 6 months. i like to keep my babies with me for their first yr. i have always been terriefied of sids as i am sure any mother is. nathan did get a christmas though which suprised me, i wasn't expecting anyone to buy him anything since he isn't here yet. he got a couple of outfits and some booties, hats and a hooded towel. we might well i might start going through some of noahs old baby clothes here soon and get the warmer ones out. noah was born in the summer but was in preemie clothes till fall so his 0-3 month clothes should fit nathan and be the right weather for them. i have my next appointment on the 8th so in a week. i am sure they will schedule me for the glucose test--uggg i hate drinking that yucky stuff. at my last appointment the doctor was concerned about my weight that i wasn't gaining very much so hopefully i have put more on i sure have eaten enough food. i should have gained about 6 in the last 4 weeks thats what my doc is looking for anyways. and i am also having TONS of braxton hicks which scares me a bit this pregnancy is almost exactly like my first and he came early so keeping my fingers crossed i make it to at least the 15th of april---my b-day! hee hee! well i have written enough and we are going to my in laws tomorrow for new years dinner tradition!! so i am off of here love ya all!

1/6/08--well hello ladies! i am now 25 weeks i can't believe in only 15 short weeks my little nathan will be here, i am getting more and more anxious everyday. today has been a good day, i laid around the house till around 2:00 and then we went to our friends house, then to the laundry mat. it was nice to just get out of the house and not to go pay bills, LOL! the friends we went to visit are also expecting she is about 10 weeks and we couldn't be happier for them. He was the best man at our wedding and we haven't really kept in touch but now since he is with someone and is a couple hopefully we will spend more time with them. He seems really excited to become a daddy. ANYWAYS my next appointment is tuesday the 8th hopefully i have gained some more weight and that will get my mother off my back and keep her from nagging at me. i know nathan is fine he is moving more and more everyday. he is so strong, he kicked tonight while we were in the car and it suprised me. matthew (hubby) seems to be getting more excited i have caught him many times reading my pregnancy magazines and he is actually giving me advice, LOL! well thats all for now hubby is going to bed and i have to get off here to watch my babies.

1/8/08---well i had my 25 week check up today everything was great and right on target, i did gain 4 pds since the last visit so i am happy about that so i am up 11 pds all together now. his heart rate was 152 bpm. he didn't like the goop the lady put on my belly so he was moving everywhere and making it difficult i thought it was funny. well thats enough for now

1/10/08- wow i can't believe it i am almost to the double digits on the countdown! WOO HOO!! well i think i pulled a muscle today in my lower tummy right above my private area, it was hurting so bad i couldn't stand nor could i lay flat it was putting me into tears. so i took me a nap and when hubby got home he ran me a hot bath and he even made dinner--i am so thankful to have him and that he is an awesome cook =) i have picked up on my water intake as the doctor instructed so hopefully my BH will calm down a bit. my appetite has so picken up alot here in the last couple of days i eat everything. i'm never full!!! my SIL is going for her big U/S on feb. 18th she is so excited, she has her heart set on a little girl but we all think BOY seeing as my hubbys family only has about 1 girl per generation (she is married to hubbys brothers) and well i have the little girl she is 1 now so.. the names she has picked out are really cute---faith elizabeth for a girl and samuel isiaih for a boy. i hope she has a little boy that way my nathan has a play mate. well i guess i am just a rambling, LOL! thats what happens when you get insomnia tty ladies a bit later!

1/12/08--wow i looked at the countdown and i can't believe it only 100 days to go well really 99 seeing as its 12:44 a.m. and the tickers haven't switched over yet. i am getting so anxious its pathetic, LOL we so have nothing ready but i am less worried about that than i have been seeing as my SIL is taking me out thursday and buying me a new carseat i have my old one but it set out in the snow for about a week. and then she said with her income tax she is taking me out and getting literally everything else i will need for nathans arrival so i can't wait. i have been feeling really good a bit tired but thats it. i noticed a few mins ago that my shirt was feeling awful cold against my skin looked down and sure enough i was leaking through my shirt---its not new i mean i have been leaking for a few weeks now. it must be a boy thing cause when i was pregnant with my son i started leaking at like 15 weeks with my daughter i didn't leak at all and now with this booger i started leaking at around 16 weeks. i can't believe i will be 26 weeks sunday it is going so quickly--but yet not fast enough, LOL! i keep finding myself reading all these "i made it pages" and all that does is make me even more impatient. me and hubby are going to clean out the closet in the kids' room tomorrow and go through all the boxes---i am such a pack rat. i want to get some of those vacuu-bags to store stuff in to make more room seeing as all three kids will be sharing the room for some time. but thats about all i have planned for tomorrow hubby won't let me do too much cause i pulled my muscle the other day from cleaning and he doesn't want that to happen again---worry wart! nathans kicks are getting stronger and stronger and i have noticed his kicking has changed a bit in routine he used to kick me all night but now i am feeling him more and more during the day. my little 4 yr. old wants to feel him kick worse than anything he keeps putting his hand on my belly and he says okay mommy make your belly kick, LOL! i tell him i can't make his bubby kick him and that his touch must make bubby sleep. he is so sweet though. my daughter who is 13 months really don't understand much of what is going on but she gets alot of mr. nathans kicks and she seems to talk to my belly more than anyone always--baby, baby!!! wow i didn't realize i have rambled on so much so ibetter get off here now and get my pregnant butt to bed and get some sleep while i can (my daughter is teething, UGGG) tty ladies later!

1/29/08--had my 28 week check up today! everything is going good. nathan is already being stubborn like his mama, the nurse almost gave up trying to get his heart rate everytime she would find it he would kick the wand and move, LOL! but after the 5th try BINGO--150 bpm! hes one heck of a kicker! they measured my belly and i am measuring 29 weeks--could i possibly be having a bit bigger of a baby this time..hmmmm....we'll know in 12 weeks! they also did a swab test on me because of my braxton hicks contractions and due to the fact i have had a history of preterm labor---they said if i don't get a phone call all is well, and if i do then there is a possibility i could go into labor within 2 weeks. so phone... DON'T RING!!! my glucose results also came in and i am good, figured i would be seeing as i didn't have it with my last 2 babies! also i have gained 14 pds. woo hoo! my belly is getting huge, i have outgrown my maternity clothes, LOL! looks like hubby is gonna have to share his wardrobe for the next 12 weeks or so... thank god i pick his clothes out and most of them are tasteful, LOL! i am in such a good mood. well i did go down and sign up for medical last week haven't heard anything yet.....i know it takes time but if i don't hear anything within the next 2 weeks they are going to have a hormonal pregnant momma on their hands. well i think i have written enough don't ya think so. tty all later!

2/11/08------well i am 30 wks as of yesterday wow it is flying right on by i have my appointment tomorrow and i am going to ask about all the strong contractions i have been having so i will update more than~~~~love ya al!

2-26-08/ well my appt. is today at 330 its 12:30 am right now and i obviously can't sleep otherwise i wouldn't be on here. i am very anxious for my appt. i hope they check me to see if there is any change due to all the contractions i have been having since my car accident. today they got so painful while i was out shopping i had to leave cause it was getting unbearable to walk anymore. since i have had all this scare and stress it has really put my butt in high gear, so now nathans diaper bag is in the trunk, my bag is being packed still have to pick up a few things and wash some things, i am washing the material of my daughters car seat that will be nathans here shortly, and the base is hooked up in the van and ready to go. i also am getting my daughters old bassinet from the in laws this weekend. i have a feeling my 14 month old will be very jealous when nathan does make his appearance she has been climbing in the car seat and then tonight she would not stay out of the baby tub so we had to eventually put it up cause she was getting frustrated that she was too big. i have just heard so many horror stories of older siblings hurting the baby it scares me my son was 3 when my daughter was born so h had some understanding as where she don't, i guess i will see about it all when the time comes i guess. well this is enough for now so i will write more after my appt.

3/9/08----well ladies this will be short well at least i want it to be but i never know when i get rambling. my next appt. is tuesday the 11th, i can't wait i am defintely gonna have them check me for dialation cause of the pain i have been feeling plus the mucus i've been losing, yuck! well hubby came home the other day from work and i guess all the guys and gals there chipped in and got us an awesome carseat its a graco convertible one that i can use from birth to 40 pds. how cool is that! i love it especially since i will not be getting a baby shower this time around =( but oh well we pretty much have everything we need for little nathan now. i have been feeling here lately like labor is just around the corner, thank god it wasn't this weekend hubby grounded him to the womb hough, LOL! we got ALOT of snow so that would have been bad trying to make a 46 min drive to the hospital. well thats enough for now i will try and update tuesday or wed. thanks ladies congrats to you all and good luck

3/13/08--well i had my 34 week appt. on tuesday they also did the swab test which was painless thank goodness. i gained a pd. in the past 2 wks. so that puts my total gain at 20 pds so i guess thats pretty good. i gained 32 pds with both my previous pregnancies. well anyways they also checked my cervix and i am minus 3 station and dialated 2 cms. so there is an end in sight woo hoo! the doctor guesses i have 2 or 3 wks maybe left. we are hoping i at least make it to 36 wks. i would feel so much safer then. the doc. was also able to feel his little head she seemed shocked she found it so easily she was pushing up on his little head asking me if i felt him move during it, ummm yeah! but it was neat. i also signed my papers for my tubal ligation it made it all feel so real that this is my last baby, i will never feel these little flutters again. usually they wait 30 days before your due date to sign them but since i am already dialated she had me go ahead and do it. my 36 wk. chewck up is on the 25th if i make it till then. then i will start going weekly--WOW this pregnancy has just flew right on by. well i guess this is it for now tty ladies later.

5-17-08/// sorry it has been a while..no one told me being a mom of 3 kids could be so rough and time consuming. we are all doing great. nathan is beautiful he is just getting bigger and bigger everyday. i can't believe he is already 6 wks. old already. at his 1 month check up he weighed 9 pds. 2 oz and was 21 inches getting big i tell ya! well like i said time consuming..love ya all
