Three-the number of wishes granted by a genie, the number of fairy godmothers, the number you count to before blowing out birthday cakes and the number of children I will have come February. Three truly is good!

We already have a daughter (age 10-double digits-verging on too cool for me...) and a son (age two-verging on too energetic at the moment for me-help! HA!) We look forward to our new addition (perhaps not the sleepless nights, the endless diapers and the crying for no apparent reason...), but all those cuddles, toothless silly grins and hmm-well, as my daughter says-that's about it for the show the first few months. Still, all worth it and getting more and more excited in direct proportion to the decrease in morning sickness.

I wish us all well (three wishes-of course) and hope for us the best of experiences!

i hear ya! it's definitely not for everyone. i really enjoyed being home for 14 months with my first and was glad i was able to experience most of his "firsts". i'm definintely bummed that i won't be able to be home as long with the second to enjoy him as much as my first. but there are days where i do enjoy getting out of the house and not dealing with little guy! ;) i'm going to play it by ear and see if i can stay home. this is a new position in a new district for me (it's my 2nd year here) and i'm a bit apprehensive about what my principal and supervisor will think about me and "deserting" my students. on the other hand though, i'm planning on nursing and i'm not small chested by any means. there are days where i teach straight until 1:00 and my boobs will be up to my eyeballs! don't need middle schoolers oggeling me. plus, i have an in home nannny who will be watching her granddaughter while i'm on maternity. she doesn't know if she'll be available to me during the whole week. she said she may be able to do 3 days a week but that means i have to arrange something for 2 days a week and i hate relying on family to take care of my kids. so if i present those two issues, hopefully it won't be a big deal if i'm gone until september. keeping my fingers crossed!
