What makes a mother? I closed my eyes and prayed to God today. I asked what makes a Mother and I know I heard Him say, A Mother has a baby. This we know is true. But God, can you be a Mother when your baby's not with you?'Yes you can!', He replied with confidence in His voice, 'I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice.'Some I send for a lifetime and other's for a day. And some I send to feel your womb but there's no need to stay. I just don't understand this God, I want my baby here. He took a breath and cleared His throat and then I saw a tear. 'We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear. My Mommy loved me oh so much I got to come straight here. I feel so lucky to have a Mom who had so much love for me I learned my lesson very quick My Mommy set me free. I'll miss my Mommy oh so much but I'll visit her each day. When she goes to sleep on her pillow is where I will lay. I'll stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear, Mommy don't be sad today I'm your baby and I'm here So you see my dear sweet one, your child is OK. Your baby is here in my home and this is where he'll stay. he'll wait for you with me until your lesson is through. And on that day that you come home he'll be at the gates for you. So now you see what makes a Mother. It's the feeling in your heart. It's the love you had so much of right from the very start.

5-13-08 WE ARE IN LABOR!!!! I started having contractions around 7pm on the 12th and they were getting close. Have been at the hospital now for a few hours and my water has just broke.

5-12-08 We had an appt. today and I am 2cm and 80% effaced. We were told to expect him anyday and more than likely before this weekend. I lost my mucus plug over the weekend and have been having contactions on and off since Friday.

5-5-08 We had an appt. today and nothing to report on other than it is all the same. The doctor said that I will be pregnant for a least another week and he will see me next Monday.

4-28-08 We had an appt. today and with the nurse pract. that I liked. She could feel his head but there is no dilation just the softening. My test came and I am neg. for the strep B YAY!!

4-21-08 We had an appt. today and was tested for the strep B bact. We are now going every week and I was also checked there was no dialation but I am starting to efface.

4-19-08 We had our Baby Shower today and it was great. I will put up picture later.

4-17-08 We had our growth ultrasound today and Aydan is weighing in at 4lbs and 14ozs. He is head down and the ultrasound lady had to point it down into my pubic bone. She also asked me if I was dialated at all. We have an appt on Monday with the doctor so we shall see what he says because that is when I start getting checked.

4-9-08 We went today for our 4D ultrasound and found out that he is head down. I did upload a few pictures of him. He has grown a lot since our last ultrasound

4-07-08 We had our appt. everything is fine, we go back in 2wks and next week we have a growth ultrasound.

03-24-08 Today we went to the doctors and he said everything looked and sounded good. We are having a growth u/s done on April 17. I am also paying to have another 4D done on April 9th so we will have lots of u/s pictures for the Baby Shower on the 19th. I have also put on 5lbs in 3 wks making my total now at 24 lbs.

03-03-08 We had a doctors appt today everything went fine his HR is about 160 but he had been up since about 4:30am bouncing off the walls of my tummy. I had to do the GD test and when I called to find out if I passed I passed it with a 131.

1-31-08 We went to L&D for a couple of hours tonight to be monitored. I started have really sharp pains. We were sure if it was something to be concerned about or not but when I call they had me go in for a little bit. I have round ligiment pain all the time and it was noting like this. But it did end up being round ligiment pain. The nurse that we had is the wife of a co-worker of my husband. She told us that she would expect to see me in there several more times before he is born. She also told us that anytime I think I need to be check to just come on in the L&D.

1-14-08 We went to see the doctor and he said everything looked good. They didn't see anything wrong with the ultrasound and also told us that if he keeps growing at the rate that he is then he will be around 7lbs.

1-11-08 We had our 20wk ultrasound today and Aydan looks good he is 13oz. the tech said he was healthy and on Monday is when we go to see the doctor again.

12-22-07- We had a doctors appt. on Monday and everything is good. On Wednesday the 19th we paid for a 4D ultrasound and found out we are having a little BOY!!! His name is Aydan Lawrence Gannutz. We wanted to know before Christmas because our ultrasound from the doctor isn't until January 11 and I didn't want to wait that long. I plan on having another 4D done right before he is born to see the difference in him.

11/19/07- We had to see the Nurse Pract. and it was very uneventful. She didn't even let us hear the HB which sucked but its a good thing that I got a doppler to hear it myself. My m/s is still here it comes and goes I do have good days and bad days depending on if I start vomiting in the morning or not.

11/11/07 I had to spend most of the night in the ER having to have fluids put in. My m/s is soooo bad even with a script that I am sooo sick all the time. I am always so worried that I have rented a doppler and LOVE it. I can monitor my babys HR which stays between the mid 160's to mid 170's. Can't wait to go to the doctors on the 19th.

10/22/07 Today we had our first visit with our OB Doc. He said that everything looked good and we got another ultrasound done. He said the HR was over 150. I had my beta checked again and it has gone up to 100,896. I am on a script of Zofran until my ALL Day Sickness goes away. We go back in 4 weeks Nov. 19, 2007

10/13/07 Last night we spent several hours at the urgent care. My vomiting had gotten really bad to where I couldn't keep anything down. My nurse told me that I needed to go in and get IV fluids. With my history of 4 previous m/c's they did a beta count and it has risen to 81,796. On Sept. 24 it was at 2076. Everything is looking ok right now and they have given Zofran to help with the vomiting so I can eat.

This is an update on my pregnancy so far. Monday on 10/1 we had an ultrasound and it showed we were 6 weeks. Our due date is May 26 and had a HR of 118. We go into the docs. (for the first time) on 10/22. Our nurse said that we will prob. have another Ultrasound done b/c the doppler prob. won't be able to pick up the HR.
