pregnant

Hello~ I am 2mths pregnant and this is my third child. However, this will be my husbands and my first! We are so excited, including my kiddos. It seems that all of our family and friends are hoping for a little girl. But I personally don't have a preference. My 2 boys are wonderful and I would be fine with another little boy around here. Although a little girl would be fun too!! So we shall see. This pregnancy is completely different than with my boys. I had wonderful pregnancies with no ill symptoms. However, with this little one, I have been so very nauseated, no vomitting just feeling sick :o( I do have a little baby bump, so I will have to take a picture to post. I am also finishing up nursing school and will be done with that in Feb. So I am trying to focus on that as well, but with all the baby excitement, sometimes it's hard :o)

Dec. 30th: I am excited to be going to the doctor tomorrow. This will be my second visit and we are hoping we can hear the heartbeat. I will keep ya posted!!

Dec 31st: No heartbeat yet, only 9wks so hopefully our next appt! My appt today consumed of really nothing :o( kinda a waste. No physical or vag check, she just asked if we had any questions or concerns and how things were going. But still plugging along :o)

Jan. 10th: I just thought I would update a quick message :o) I am finally starting to show!! I will upload a picture I took the other night. I can't suck in my gut at all anymore. I am graduating from nursing school in 28days and I can't wait!! The only downfall is we have to wear these traditional white dresses, lovely right! Especially with this expanding belly :o) Oh well, I have worked too hard to get to this point, so I will wear my white dress with a smile and LOTS of pride!!

pregnant Jan. 23rd: So I am finally feeling better. Well as far as the nausea goes. However, I am still having issues with my sinuses. Oh and still having sleep issues. I am a stomach sleeper, so having to adjust to that. I have sworn I have felt the baby move or flutter as I call it, a few times. Even tho all the experts say you can't feel anything yet, I swear it was not a gas bubble, lol! I can't wait to feel real and full movements soon! Baby bump is getting bigger :o)

See how my baby is doing

Feb 4th: (14wks) We had another Dr.s appt today and we finally got to hear our little bundle of joys' heartbeat!!! It was so amazing to FINALLY be able to relax and know that he/she is growing in there :o) Today was also with a Dr. that I had only met once. He delivered my youngest son because my doctor was out of town. So I literally met him hrs before my little guy was born and hadn't seen him since then. So today I saw him again (cuz my old doc retired) and I LOVED him!!! He is so great and caring! Such a relief!!!! We go back on March 10th for our ultrasound....YEAH!!! I can't wait to find out if we are having a little prince or princess!!!!

Feb. 11th(15wks): Today I had to take my hubby to the airport because he has to go on a business trip. He will only be gone a week, but I hate when he leaves. So when I got home from dropping him off I cried and cried. Then I watched some TLC and cried some more. Gotta love raging hormones that come with pregnancy!!!! I proceeded to do nothing today, hehe, just didn't have any motivation! However, it was a great day because I have felt my baby move all about today!! I love, love, love it!!!

March 9th(19wks): Tomorrow we have our ultrasound....YEAH!!! We are all so very excited to finally see our precious bundle of joy AND hopefully get to find out the sex as well!!!!! My belly is just growing and it feels great to finally "feel" pregnant! Tonight my hubby was finally able to feel our baby move, we just laid in bed and watched my belly bounce and the baby kick! It was so exciting :p

its a boy It's A BOY!!!!! We had our ultrasound today and it was quite obvious!!! My husband and my boys' are very excited!! I am a little disappointed that we are not having a girl, just because everyone thought it was a girl, I had kinda got my hopes up. However, I am so happy to be blessed with a healthy baby and I am very excited as well!!! Oh and my doctor had to send me out of the office for the u/s and the facility I went to does not print pictures out AND their machine was down to burn a cd, so we were not able to get anything to bring home and show off :o( However, thankfully I can have an ultrasound at work and get some pictures printed out!!

March 13th: So I went and picked up my ultrasound pictures on Tuesday. They also gave me the ultrasound report. Everything on the report said normal. However, in the conclusion it mentions that although my amniotic fluid is in the normal range, it is in the UPPER part of the normal range and they recommend I have a follow-up u/s in 4-6wks. So like anyone else would, I freaked out!! My husband kept telling me that I was stressing over nothing. So today I had my Dr's. appt and he completely eased my nerves about the amniotic fluid. He said that since it's in the "normal" range and I am not measuring bigger, he is not concerned. It was a great relief and music to my ears!! My hubby and I also went over some boy names last night and actually agreed on a few! My baby boy has just been moving all over the place and I LOVE IT!!!!

I measured 32 weeks with the measuring tape at the docs office and 30 weeks with the ultrasound. I failed the first GD test so I have to go for the 3 hour GD test this Monday. I am worried that the baby might be big due to GD. My first son was born at 36 weeks due to severe pre-eclampsia and he weighed 5.2 lbs and was completely healthy. I already know that I will be having another c-section with this baby.

The pain in tummy might be too much food intake at once. Try eatign smaller meals more often. Maybe?

I am also measuring ahead of schedule by about 2-3 weeks and mu baby already weighs 3.3 lbs. My Dr did not seem too concerned - what did your Dr tell you? I am just a little confused as to why. Thanks!!

I had polyhydramnios with my daughter, born March 20. It was discovered at a growth ultrasound at 33 weeks. My belly measured 45 cm from there until delivery and the fluid levels were between the upper 20s and lower 30s. I had one amnioreduction around 35 weeks where they drained 1.5 Liters of fluid. I was concerned about Leah's health, but ultrasound images of her digestive system and kidneys showed no abnormalities. She measured 6lb 9oz at 33 weeks and gained steadily from there. They induced at 39 weeks. It took 27 hours but I did have a successful vaginal delivery and Leah weighed 9lb 8oz at birth- healthy as could be.

If you do have polyhydramnios, they will likely keep a very close watch on your pregnancy from here on. I went for biophysical profiles twice per week to be sure baby was doing well. I know it's hard not to worry but if you are diagnosed with polyhydramnios you will likely have a great outcome. Anyway, I hope this eased your mind a little and I wish you the best!!

I hear ya on the hormones, I cry over stupid things all the time. As far as my story, non pregnant people cry about it too so you are fine. lol

I wish my ultrasound was this week. I am all baby too. It's unbelievable how much is baby now. I go for my ultrasound on the 29th (my husband's birthday) Please let me know how you make out. I am very curious.

Thanks for the info... what you wrote about the epidural really does make sense. It makes me feel better as well. I'm just going to let nature take its course and see what happens. Thanks, again!

I, in tow with my lovely pregnancy hormones, have actually gotten rude with some of the employees at some stores, lol. I just don't understand how they can carry such a wide selection of baby clothes (which seems to be more for little girls, imo), yet no maternity clothes. Where do they think those babies came from, a stork? I've actually asked a few of them that. I should be ashamed, but oddly enough I'm really not. I think it's absolutely ridiculous. I probably should have kept my attitude to myself, but it's SO frustrating! I feel your pain! :)

Snugglebug - Sunday, 11 May
Try E-bay, if you don't mind used clothing. Some of the stuff is still new even. Granted it'll still take a few days to get it, but MUCH cheaper. I've bought entire lots of clothes (one was 14 shirts) for $20! Other than that, I'm not much of a help, our selection here sucks also. I have to drive 45 minutes away, unless I want to pay $30 for a shirt at one store, or look at the same selection of clothes (3 shirts all alike, just different colors or 3 pairs of pants all alike, just different colors) at Wal-mart. A lot of the stuff that I got on E-bay was like brand new. Oh, and JCPenney usually has a decent variety and sometimes has good sales. Good luck! :)

Tiff you might try craigslist.com It is a website where people in your area post items that they have to give away or sell. I bought my crib and a bunch of baby clothes from girls that posted in my area. The stuff is hand-me-downs but they are normally gently used and at a bagin price so you might give it a shot. Good Luck.

Totally the same thing happen on the bra thing!!
I knew they had grown when I went in to try them on, but not by two sizes!!!
Am freaking out a little too for when the milk comes in.. I always wished my boobs were bigger but who would have thought that I'd get my wish under circumstances like these... I a beginning to think it ain't so good. especially when I see the dark veins. How weird are they?!

Jaclyn82 - Thursday, 1 May
Hey! hahaha I read your comment. I feel what you are going through. I went from a B to almost a D too and feel like i am going to be at the end of the Alphabet by the time i have my son. I think they are also feeling bigger then they actually are. I will have to get a new bra too. I keep saying it but just dont feel like it. Good luck!

Thank you. I think that I over worry when really I just need to sit back, and keep doing what I'm doing. I just kept thinking that maybe, just maybe there was an issue since his little heart rate seemed to be dropping. It's only if it dips below 120 that there is an issue right?
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The amnio results all came back fine. Every time I ask why she is measuring so small they just say they'll keep an eye on her. I never actually get an answer. I have another u.s on may 15th, so maybe they will be able to shed some light. The perinatalogist was doing ultrasounds every two to three weeks to watch her but after the amnio came back clear they stopped doing that. I don't know what to do or what to think.

THANKS!!! :)

Thanks, I am doing better. My infection ended up going away after the first day, but I had to continue the eye drops for a week and had to go to the dr. every day to make sure it wasn't coming back. Well, Samantha is kicking me alot harder than she used to. I can tell she is getting bigger because if I am sitting for awhile and than get up my pubic bone feels the pressure. I measured my waist the other day and for the first time my tummy was bigger than my husbands. He usually gains weight with me but this time he was determined to lose weight and he did so he has lost 20 pounds since Jan. I am so happy for him. He looks healthier. Now I can't wait to have the baby and start walking again. I used to walk everyday in my first trimester but now when I walk for along time I can feel my lower back almost ready to go out. So I am going to wait till after the baby is born. My girls are so excited for Samantha's arrival. She kicked Marisa the other day and she laughed, now she lifts up my shirt all the time b/c she wants to see baby Mamfa(she can't say Samantha yet.) She is so funny. My other daughter can't wait to hold her. She loves babies. Oh, well that's what is going on with me lately. Hope you are doing well. Talk to you later.

happymomma2be - Tuesday, 22 April
Oh, thank you so much about the info on the heart rate!!! I figured all was okay, but I wasn't sure of a medical reason for it to be so...that is a great relief for me!!! Thank you again, and God bless you!!!!! Congrats on your up and coming PRINCE!!

I love the name Colton! That's a very strong name. Good job on picking that name out. You don't hear it often and I like that. That's why I picked Ava NO ONE in my family or extended family has that name or anyone that I know. I know, I need to post all my pics. I have them in my camera I just couldn't find my USB cord until a couple days ago, my husband found it! I will post this week. You will be suprised at what my belly looks like! It's HUGE! Ok, chat with ya soon!
