BABY BOY- Lachlan due 22nd December 2007
Hey! I am now 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant. This is my second pregnancy. My first ended in Miscarriage at 9 and a half weeks, and my baby never developed a heartbeat. This little tucker has a strong heartbeat and is doing a great job at making me feel sick. Thankfully, it's only be nausea till today - My first throw up! :) LOL I've been feeling really dizzy and completely exhausted, isn't it supposed to ease around now?!

I had a scan on Wednesday our baby danced throughout the whole thing! It was amazing! They changed our dates again, we are now due December 23rd! Who knows I could be delivering Christmas Day! Well our little one is doing well and I can't wait to see him/her again in 8 weeks. Hopefully bub will cooperate and let us know if it's a girl or boy! Well ladies and gents, and little ones! Take care of yourselves!

Baby is moving alot now, I can feel it. Went for my first antenatal hospital visit today. Gained 1.6 kgs now which I guess is good considering I'm 4 Months along! The midwife was happy to stick with my due date calculated from my period! YES!!! That puts me at 16 weeks and 6 days which means this baby WILL be born before Christmas! The midwife let Phil and I listen to the heart beat, it was the first time I've heard it, it was amazing, Phil is still convinced we have a little alien living inside of me! Only 4 weeks until we find out the Baby's sex, that will be good, I guess it will change that alien into a human with a name, Bethane (Rhymes with Renee) for a girl and Lachlan for a boy! It will be nice to be able to call bub by name~! I can't wait to meet him/her!

14th November 2007 (34 and a half weeks)
Well it certainly has been a while since I've written any thing. I've just spent a week in hospital after going into early labour which they managed to stop with drugs. They also gave Lachie some steriods to help develop his lungs. I am now 2 cm dialated, and my cervix has shorted from 30mm to about 20! Whatever that means. I have dropped, and I am continually cramping - i wish I knew what was happening in there!
Had a slight bleed 2 weeks ago which also ended me up in hospital but only for one night. It was a little scarey but nothing more happened - it's pretty cool getting to have extra scans and seeing our baby as he develops as well as while they monitor him on the ECG machine.
Lachie's part of our room is all set up now, and looking very cosy, I can't wait to have him in it. We've put the carseat in the car, and all bags are packed - Lachie's bag is in the car already - mine is in his cot, just incase I decide I need something from it! :) It really helped having my bag packed early with my early labour, it was there and ready - sure i needed a few extra things, but hubby did well. Ladies - pack your bags early you might forget something in the rush and it gives peace of mind knowing you are ready.

Hey there! Yeah the hubby let me get a new camera, but I havent taken pics of the nursery yet because we dont have the mattress or bedding for the crib until the 16th and I wanted it to be complete. :) But still I am so glad to have a camera again anyway! Well hope all is well and you are feeling good...

The new house is great, I love it so much! Our last place had no A/C and no insulation so it was like a heat box in there and it was miserable. Now we are in a great neighborhood and the house is cool and I am loving it. Hopefully I get a camera today if the hubby lets me *cross fingers* so I can put up nursery pics. The only thing I don't like about it is that the carpet is dark blue, but after putting everything in (pink and white) it looks a lot better than I thought it would. We have our 4d ultrasound today so I am totally excited for that. Paityn is a little fireball in there, I feel her almost constantly and sometimes my entire stomach moves from one side to the other! I love it. :) The only thing I don't love is the heartburn I get at night...oh man it sucks. I think I am finally going to have to get out the Tums. So how are you feeling? I love all your pics! :)

Oh the heat is really starting to get to me, what about you? i couldn't imagine going through all of summer pregnant! I sleep with the fan on at night and my fiance thinks i'm mad! the kicks can sometimes be annoying hey, it's mean to admit it but sometimes you're just so tired and want peace for a while, have the kicks stated being rolls? thats basically all my baby does now, rolls around with the occasional kick in the ribs which hurts like hell. I think the rolling is painfull.

MAN WELL AT LEAST YOUR RIB PAINS ARE GONE. MINE ARE STILL HURTING BUT I HAVE AN APPT. ON TUES AND IM GOING TO ASK WHATS GOING ON CAUSE I DONT LIKE THIS AT ALL. BUT YESSS I LOVE WATCHING MY BELLY MOVE ITS SOOO CUTE. I JUST CANT WAIT UNTIL I SEE ELBOWS AND STUFF =]]. AND YESS I HAVE A NAME HIS NAME IS JOSE ADRIAN. CAUSE MY BF WANTED ME TO NAME HIM AFTER HIM BUT OF COARSE EVERYONE IS GOING TO CALL HIM ADRIAN HAHA. WELL ALMOST 12 WEEKS TO GO WOOHOO!!!

Hi my two best friends have had their children at Redlands it is a nice hospital and so lucky you get your own room, although my friend had a baby in July there and had to share for a night as the hospital was really busy, apparently there is a massive baby boom happening! My shower was awesome and i had about 30 guests although my mum gave about 20 presents! i get my results for gestational diabetes today so fingers crossed!

Hi Tilly Im doin ok! how are u going? i have had about 7 or 8 scans because i had problems at 13 weeks. fair bit of bleeding which wasnt a nice time at all cos we didnt know what was gonna happen. anyway my little man seems happy now! i know what u mean with the fish in a bowl thing! it is very weird and hard to describe isnt it. wonderful though

Hey, I have another blood test tomorrow this one i have to fast for 12 hours and have to wait 2 hours at the place, my results form the last test were high so have to have the more advanced one. Hopefully this comes back negative though! Anyway i am having baby at the Mater Mothers (south brisbane)We went to the ante natal classes this weekend and they were pretty good, learnt alot surprisingly. Are you doing them?

Hey there! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, we have been moving and I have no internet at the new place until the 20th. I am feeling pretty good lately, just tired mostly! I sleep like 10-11 hours a night and still don't feel rested. Of course I wake up every night around 3:30 for about an hour which makes it hard to feel rested. My little one is super active, which I love! I go to have a 4d ultrasound next Sunday (23rd) so I will post pics of that when I have them. How are you feeling these days?

Hi Tilly, How are you? have the pains gone away? i have had some pain, period like ones but not for a long time now, they were more in the early stages like around 18-20 weeks. My baby shower was amazing! it was so much fun, we played silly games and everyone got involved! Baby got so much stuff, i put it all away and i can't wait till he/she is here so i can dress them up!!! Your pics in the pink are really nice, did you take them your self?

Hey, all is well with me, how about with you? Wow, your due date changed a lot...but it'a all good, at least all of them were in December. And that is true, they come when they're ready. I've only had the 2 scans, but that's more than we usually get here...for free anyway. I'm not sure if I'll be getting another one, I'm gonna be seeing an OB/GYN on Sept 18, so we'll see what he wants to do...I'm sure nothing considering my pregnancy and delivery were text book, and my problem occured after giving birth to my daughter. My energy has been pretty good. I have a little less, but...I guess thats expected. How about you?

Hi :-) We're doing fine, well... apart from the usual pregancy discomforts! I am always feeling tired even first thing in the morning. I get period-like lower back pain too and my tailbone hurts at times. Just like you, I hope our little one pops out before X-mas and according to the u/s estimates he's likely to be a week early. Let me know how your next visit goes, gl!
