Tinah,
I understand your woes with the bay waking so much during the night, my Alex does the same thing. On a good night he wakes up twice, usually to eat, on a bad night he's waking up at least four times a night! Just when I think he is getting better he starts all over again! I too miss a full nights sleep and it stinks to hear other mom's talk about their babies sleeping through the night since month 2. I really can't explain why my son does it other than he is just easily stimulated I guess. I think any time he has a bad dream or has gas, is hungry, or uncomfortable he just wakes up, and I haven't had the heart to let him cry it out, I actually think based on his personality it wouldn't help. I truely think he will cry until he is blue in the face and I can't bear to listen to him so for the meantime at least I am in that boat with you. I'm soory I don't have any advice or aolutions for you but I thought it might help to know your definately not the only one out there experiencing this. Best of luck and keep me posted

Thanks for ur comment! It really helps to have some advice from other moms. I am a first time mom and this is all new to me. Although, I think is is getting a little easier as time goes on. Your babe is a doll!

I read your comments today and I feel exactly what you are going through. Their are not very many of us. My Daisy sleeps with me, has never taken a bottle(no matter how hard I try) and wakes up three times a night to eat. I don't see how I well ever stop nursing. I love sleeping with her but I get no relief at all. I have not had a good night sleep in FOREVER! Let me know if you come across any tricks. Good luck you, and you have a beautiful baby!

I got the padded one and it's worth it...when i put her in the hip-carry position it protects her legs which poke out the bottom.

thanks for your comment... that makes sense about not realizing how hard you're pushing - i had the epidural also... i'm hoping it goes away soon... it's really bad and keeps getting worse... how long did it take before yours went away (i'm guessing it's gone away??)
