The areola did get some smaller a went back to more a pinkish color post pregnancy.

Hi, I am in agreement. This is my 5th pregnancy and with all of them the areola gets VERY dark and larger than usual and then after delivery mine fades but has yet to go back to what they looked like pre-pregnancy- but my sisters returned to pre-preg state.

It's normal don't worry! The areola (the pigmented area around the nipple) will darken, spread, and may be spotted with even darker areas. This darkening may fade but not dissapear entirely after birth.---That came from "what to expect when you're expecting." I hope that helps a little.

Hi Tina, I'm having the same thing with my breast. This is my second boy. After i had my 1st child it went away after about a month. i wouldn't worry.

WHEN I WENT TO THE DR WHEN I WAS ABOUT 20 WEEKS HE SD THAT HE THOUGHT THAT I WAS HAVING A GIRL... HE SD THAT HE WAS ABOUT 95% SURE... I WENT BACK AT 24 WEEKS AND THIS TIME HE SD THAT SHE WAS DEFINATLY A GIRL AND YOU COULD CLEARLY SEE ALL HER BUSINESS... THE PEOPLE THAT DO THESE REALLY KNOW WHAT THERE TALKING ABOUT MOST OF THE TIME... BUT BACK IN THE DAY I KNEW A FEW WOMEN THAT WERE TOLD THEY WERE HAVING GIRLS AND ENDED UP WITH BOYS BUT NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND... GOODLUCK

I was in the same boat. They told us 90 percent a boy. I was still kinda uneasy tho until I had another ultrasound and they told me 100% BOY! If you aren't getting another one through ur doc you can always get a 3D and they would be able to tell you. They cost about $150. Hope this helps. xoxo
