Hi all... I am 22 years old and I have been married for a little over a year now! My husband and I live in New Stanton and we are expecting our first child! We did find out that we are having a little boy and we are going to name him Landan Michael, and we are both very excited!

Saturday, 12 Jan

Well after going to the doctors yesterday and finding out that I was one cm dialated I was excited, so then lastnight I had thought that my water had been leaking so I went to the hospital here it wasnt that...silly mee, but then i also found out that from the time I went to the docs till the time I went to the hospital I had dialated to 2 cm `s YAY....well if I dont go into Labor before the 20th then I guess I will meet my little one the 21st!

Wednesday, 23 Jan

Well as you all know I gave birth to my beautiful son Landan on January 16th at 9:17 am he was 8 pounds 8 ounces 20 and a half inches long!!!! He was a week early but that is okay with us! Labor was long and kind of hard but well worth it!!! I can `t even explain the way I feel it is just so overwhelming!!! My husband is the greatest dad ever, I have enjoyed having him home with us, and now he has to go back and that really sucks! Now I have to take care of Landan on my own and im nervous as much as I can be!! I know the whole maternal thing will kick in but im still a little scared!!! Landan is going to be a week old tomorrow already....I hope not every day goes as fast as these past few have! Well that is all for now but I will keep everyone updated!

Okay so Landan is one week and one day old...wow time is already going fast!! I am enjoying mommy hood so much!! I am tired and the recovery from labor sucks!!! I am just so sore, but he is so worth all of it!!!! Well I will keep everyone updated!

Friday, 25 Jan

Okay so I really haven `t been able to explain my birth story but I guess I could try so here goes!! I started to have contractions Monday night the 14th and so Tuesday morning I went to the hospital thinking I was in labor well I wasnt they said...by wednesday early morning around 130 am i couldnt take the pain anymore so went back to the hospital and here I was dialated 7 cm YAY!!! So I got the epidural when I got there and that really helped...about and hour later I was 8 cm and water broke! Then after the water broke they had to give me more stuff in my epidural because it wasnt strong enough! At about 7 am on the 16th I hit 10 cm and they had to break the rest of my water because there was still a bag of waters on his head! Sat up for a little bit and then about 20 after 7 began to push! Tried pushing while on my back and it just wasnt working so then moved to my left side and pushed still didnt work and epidural wasnt working so my nurse says to me ` We are going to play tug-o-war ` i was like `HUH? ` So she hands me one end of a towel and she holds on to the other end...she pulls on it and then I pull up on it, at first I thought that this was strange but it worked after almost 2 hours of pushing Landan Michael came into the world at 9:17 am at 8 pounds 8 ounces 20 and a half inches long! They cleaned him up and a little after 10am mommy gets to meet her little guy! I cried of course it was the most wonderful feeling in the whole world to have this little person look up at you and stare into your eyes! He is so perfect then my husband couldnt take his eyes off of him as soon as he came out! He cried when he held him! Now my life is complete i couldnt be any happier! I just love being a mommy!!!!

Wednesday, 30 Jan

Okay so today I went to the doctors because I have been in like lot of pain!! Here I find out that I tore my stitches and that I have a laseration that is irritated!! So now I know why I have been in pain and unable to sit...they gave me perks for the pain and I go back in a week!! Landan will be 2 weeks old tomorrow! Oh and his circumsion healed and his umbilical cord healed today...that means we can give him a real bath! I will let you know how it goes and hopefully get some more pics up!

Wednesday, 30 Jan

Well today Landan is 2 weeks old!! I can `t believe how time is flying already! I feel like I just gave birth to him yesterday!! Well we gave him his first real bath lastnight in his little jet tub, and he didnt seem to mind it too much, he was shocked at first but he didnt cry or anything!!! He looked so darn cute!!!! Well that was my excitement for the week! I will keep everyone updated!!!!

Okay so I went to the doctors today, and he said that my area that is bothering me where my stitches were is 75% healed!!!! YAY!!! Thank goodness! I couldn `t stand that pain anymore! So now I don `t have to go back for 3 weeks! Landan is doing good he goes to the doctors next week, I can `t believe he is going to be 3 weeks old tomorrow! That seems like it was yesterday! Time is flying by already!

Monday, 11 Feb

Okay so Landan went for his second checkup today! He is now 10 pounds and 22 inches long....and is perfect!!!!! He is getting so big it makes me sad!!!!! He is now eating 5 ounces, I can `t believe how much he changes everyday!!!! Well I hope things keep going as good as they have been! Now he don `t go back to the docs till in March!

Friday, 22 Feb

Okay where do I start....Landan is one month and 5 days old today!! My where did the time go? He is changing everyday right in front of me...My husband and I finally put him in his crib this past sunday and he actually sleeps better now than he did in his basinet! Today we put him down for some tummy time and he went from his belly and rolled over onto his back!!! I couldn `t believe it!!!! And I am almost 6 weeks postpartum YAY!!!!!!
