I've been MIA. The last time I was on here, I was put on bedrest at home until 34 weeks. But on Feb. 10 I was having contractions & went to L&D & was on bedrest at the hospital until yesterday. Everything is going well. At our 28 weeks ultrasound the baby already weighed 3 lbs. I go next week for another ultrasound. When I was in the hospital, the baby got two rounds of steriods (24 weeks & 28 weeks). Well I'm enjoying being home after 71 days in the hospital. I hope everyones pregnancy is not as eventful as mine.

Well we had our u/s done today & the baby is till measuring a week ahead. Everything great with the baby. On another note, I'm on bedrest until 34 weeks. My cervix was funneled up to my stitch. Please keep the baby in you thoughts & prayers.

Hello everyone,
Not much going on. I can't believe I'm halfway there!!!! Yay!!! Everything is going good so far. I have gained 7 lbs this pregnancy. Not bad. I hope I can keep that up. We have our u/s on Friday Feb. 8th. I'm sooooo excited for it, but we are on team green. So will NOT find out the sex of the baby. As long as it is healthy, I really don't care. The baby has been kicking alot. I've been having some heartburn, but nothing I'm not use to. I have acid reflex. Well that's all I can say. I hope everyone is enjoying there pregnancy.

Today is my angel Hailey's 1st birthday. Happy Birthday Hailey. I thought today was going to be a really hard day. But it really wasn't. I love & miss you.
My name is Tina & I'm married to my wonderful husband Jim. We got married on May 20, 2006. Jim & I got pregnant with our first child on 9/12/06. On January 20, my daughter was born & passed away. Her name was Hailey. I went into ptl & got an infection in my uterus, which they think was caused by an incomponent cervix.
We found out we were pregnant with this one on 10/12/07. Our due date is June 20, 2008. We're not finding out the sex of the baby, but I think we are having a boy. But as long as it's healthy & full term, I don't care what it is. When we went for our NT scan, the baby was measuring a week ahead. I just hope we don't have a BIG baby in there lol!! My husband is 6ft 4inches.

Congrats on being home. It has got to feel so good!! This is only my second week of bedrest, but it is difficult already. At least I am at home and not the hospital. I was contracting so they have me on Brethene and bedrest. I also had the Betamethasone for my little boys lungs. I have not dialated at all so that is good! We also have angel babies in common. My first was born at 30 weeks and did not make it due to a skeletal disorder. I think our angels are looking over their siblings and will bring them safely here. Hailey is beautiful. I have a ton of pictures of Christian. We had professional photos done and they are my most prized possession.

Hi there glad to hear your home i have been on home bedrest for 4 weeks now as my cervix is 4 mm and funneling, what measurement is your cervix, they have not put a cerlarge stitch in cause they said it was too dangerous, i had too steriod shots 3 weeks ago, but they now telling me that bedrest is not proven that it works they confuse me, where are you from, Take care love nicki

Just wanted to give you some encouragement. Lots of us are on bedrest, and it seems to work. It is rough, but will all be worth it in the end. I don't have the stitch, but lots of women on here have funneled to their stitches and gone on to full term. Just keep up your faith and hang in there and hopefully you will too. It will all be worth it one day. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Deana

Don't worry you will do just fine and have a healthy baby. Please, please, please follow all doctor's orders and take veeeeeeery easy. I had a stitch at 22wks, funneled to 1.1cm and 1cm dilated. I went on strict bedrest and still funneled to the stitch and dilated 3cm. Long story short,had my stitch removed on Thursday at 35 wks! Baby looks great and now I'm just waiting for baby to arrive. I don’t blame you one bit for being guarded and feeling uneasy with this one. It's scary knowing you lost one baby before and being worried sick something will happen to this one too. I'm a strong believer in POSITIVE thinking - focus on the fact that nothing CAN or WILL go wrong. There's just no other way it can be. Easier said than done and I havent walked in your shoes of course. Do what you can to stay positive though - your baby can feel your stress and you don’t want to do that to him/her!! You sure you wont change your mind on the 8th and decide to find out what your having? I just couldn’t NOT know!!!!!!!

Hi - very sorry to hear about your daughter. Congrats on this pregnancy - sounds like everything is progressing well - YAAY! My hubby and I are pregnant with our first - due 3 days after you. we ARE finding out the sex, on Feb 8th to be precise!!! I'm a planner and HAVE to know!!!!!
