A little about me...

I have been happily married for four years. We have a beautiful, healthy, happy 3-year-old little girl. My family means more to me than words could ever express. I'm currently pregnant with our second - a boy!

I'm looking for other moms and families to share the ups and downs of this amazing time.

Recently I went into preterm labor. After several doses of terbultaline, and constant monitoring, things seem to be somewhat stable again. I have been placed on strcit bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy.

Man that stinks that you can't sleep. I have taken Tylenol pm every night for the past 5 or so months. It really helps me though. I go to the Dr. today so I am going to talk to him about it. Thanks!!!!

Welcome to my world...the same thing has been happening with me and this baby. BUT- this is my third, and I have learned the measurments mean very little. I always measured small with my 1st born. She weighed 8lbs 3 ozs. I always measured big with my 2nd, she weighed 7lbs 14 oz.

i'm big on lotions and stuff too- and i learned my lesson last time too, so i kinda overdo it on the lotions and stuff now!

Thanks! thats such a relief to know, i was starting to think i had a lazy uterus lol! Congrats on the baby, hopefully being on bedrest doesnt suck too badly, its all gonna be over soon! :)

hey- i just now read your comment in the stretch mark forum thing... i obtained quite a few while pregnant with my first- and they can hurt but mainly itch. put some neosporin in them every time you go to the bathroom and if they don't go away in a few days, you will know what they are. hopefully they will go away, but if not, just be glad that they are where they are! good luck to you.. oh- and just a word of advise-make sure you stay lathered up on your butt, stomach, and thighs (inside and out!) just to be sure it doesn't happen anywhere else!! you don't have too much longer to go, so make sure you do it the rest of the pregnancy- once they are there, they are there to stay, trust me! good luck to you and congratulations!!

I am 31 weeks, but measuring 33, I have GD. Do you? The baby is 4 1/2 pounds as of last thursday. The doc said if he gets too big, we'll induce a week or so early.

HELLO. I AM ALSO 3 WEEKS BIGGER. MY DOC THINKS IT IS NORMAL ALSO. AS OF THE LAST WEEK OF FEB. HE WAS WEIGHING 4LBS. I AM ALSO 2 CM DIALATED & ON SEMI-BEDREST. THEY CANNOT GIVE ME ANYTHING TO STOP LABOR BECAUSE BABY IS ENGAGED. I AM IN CONSTANT PAIN & FEEL, WITH 3 ACTIVE CHILDREN, I CANNOT TAKE MUCH MORE. ARE YOU IN PAIN? DO YOU CONTRACT OFTEN OR HAVE LOWER BACK PAIN? I AM LEARNING, THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, JUST HOW DIFFERENT EACH DOC IS. KEEP ME POSTED ON YOUR PROGRESS PLEASE. IT IS NICE TO KNOW SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING. HOPE YOU ARE FEELING WELL.

i'll find out tomorrow how much bigger im measuring tomorrow but 2 weeks ago i was measuring 33 weeks, and i know i have bigger than average baby's my second boy was 10lbs 5 3/4 oz's i wouldn't worry to much, baby will be just the right size besides you get a much nicer baby belly photo's will a big baby lol

That's good that your baby is measuring ahead. My baby is measuring ahead and I am also on bed-rest for pre-term labor, so his bigger than normal size reassures me that he'll be a little bit better if born early!
