Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey Toleen! Good to hear from you. Emma and I are fine. I just had my regular checkup today and everything looked good. I have gained 16.5 pounds so far which my dr says is at the low end of normal and she's very happy with it. I feel like my belly is getting bigger everyday. How bout you? How's your belly coming along?

Hi Toleen! Hey you should make sure you tell your dr about the itching. I have read several things that say some itching is normal, but that is one symptom you should always tell your dr about. Like you said, I'm sure its just the hormones, but never hurts to mention it to you dr. So I hope you have a great weekend too and keep in touch!

Congrats on making it to 21 weeks! I will be 21 weeks on sunday...can't wait! I have been getting a heavy feeling in my legs, but no numbness. I feel like its getting to be more of a hassle to do nearly everything (sleep, go from sitting to standing, etc). Do you feel that way too? My hips have been aching too. You had any of that?

We got our furniture at Babies R Us. I know that Target has some furniture as well. You could check there. Babies R Us does have a HUGE selection though if you haven't tried there yet. I LOVE our furniture!! We got our bedding at Bed Bath & Beyond and it is adorable! Sorry that you're having problems with constipation...that must be horrible. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Our next dr appt is on March 5 too!! Emma is very active...I feels kicks almost constantly. My husband loves feeling them too. We scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound for mothers day! I can't wait...what an amazing mother's day gift to see what our little Emma looks like for the first time! Are you thinking of having a 3D/4D u/s?

Hey! Everything is great here! Sounds like you have an active little guy on your hands...how great. Little Emma Grace is doing great. We had another u/s yesterday and they were able to get all angles they needed. She was so cute! My husband always sleeps with his fist propped under his chin...she was in the EXACT same position! Daddy's little girl already!! Speaking of sleeping...I'm sorry you're having trouble. I have always been more of a side sleeper anyway, but getting comfortable still takes me a long time. You should go get one of the pillows...they work! I am getting kicked nearly constantly too, and I love it! I'll be 20wks on sunday. Can you believe we're this far along already??!!!! I can't!! Gotta run for now...talk to you soon!

Hi toleen! Everythings going great and we did have our appt yesterday. Our little one was sleeping and wouldn't move around too much, but they think its a girl!!!! They were really nice and said we could come back in a week or two to try and get some definite angles to be sure!! I can't wait...we will get to see our little princess twice within two weeks! Yay!!! So from what they showed us, it definitely looks like a girl but I'll let you know if anything changes at our next u/s. Everything else looked great!! We got to see some precious little fingers and toes...it was awesome! It was good to hear from you and I'm glad to hear you are finally showing a little bit...hahaha. You'll have to start posting belly pics now that you're showing!

Toleen...that's so funny! I think it's pretty obvious that I'm pregnant at this point but there are some people that still don't pick up on it. My husband rubs my tummy every morning and says hi to baby...I love it. Just this morning he said, 'I think your tummy got a little bigger over night!' I have been feeling ALOT of movement. Have felt it since wk 16 also, but the last couple of days have been more intense...just like you said. I will be at wk 18 in just a couple of days...can't wait! Also can't wait for Tuesday to come so we can find out if we're having a boy or a girl! Well...gotta get to work. Hope you and your little boy have a great day Toleen!

Yeah...I know. I have family history of high blood pressure even though I've never specifically had a problem with it, its something to keep an eye on. But like you said...only positive thoughts!! Thanks for your encouraging words and I'll speak with you later! Off to work!

Yeah...my blood pressure is always good too, but I hear so many stories about developing high blood pressure during pregnancy that I worry about that happening to me! My has been the exact same every time they have taken it since the very beginning, so doc says thats a good sign that it should remain good throughout pregnancy. I am like you...I have thought since the beginning that I am having a boy. Guess we'll see on tuesday! Well, keep me posted on everything!

Hi Toleen!! I'm so excited for you!!! A little boy...how wonderful! I just got back from my appointment and everything was great!! We didn't get to do the u/s today...it was just our reg appt. However, they gave us our lab sheet so we could schedule for our u/s. We will have that next tuesday...can't wait!!! The baby's heartrate was 140 and we even got to hear a couple of kicks on the doppler. It was so cool! I told the doc that the baby was moving around alot and she said she hoped we'd get to hear a kick and sure enough we did!! My blood pressure was great and I have gained 2 1/2 more pounds this month for a grand total of 4 1/2 so far during the pregnancy. Doc said that was great! I am glad everything went well! Now I'm just counting the days until next tuesday...I want the next week to fly by!! So how has your bloodpressure and weight and all of that been? You been feeling ok? I'm just so excited for you!!!
