I'm 27 years old and this is the first baby for me and my boyfriend. The baby was not planned, but is very welcome right now. . . not to say that I didn't shed many tears when I first found out. I took a test and it came back positive on November 03, a mere 6 days before we were supposed to close on our house. We spent hours debating whether or not we should still get our house and eventually decided to proceed. I couldn't imagine bringing a baby home to an apartment after being so close to getting a house. I am very glad we chose to buy our home, but I still panic everyday wondering if we will be able to handle and afford everything.

sweetie, this is my 4th and im more worried than ever, infact i cant even remember being like this with my others, infact if im honest, i love this site but its this site that has made me worry about everything, were going week by week on here and we expect our pregnancys to go by the book... and every pregnancy is sooo differant.... and this site makes us think we should be feeling this and feeling that and it should be this size and we should have gained this much weight, and i bet none of us are 100% like this site says we should, its here for a guide.
but worrying sweetie is so normal, i wake up and dont move until i feel a kick, and if ive been busy all day and havent noticed a movement i freak out until i feel the baby again... its driving me crazy, but it makes us human and avery good mums, .x.x.x.x try and relax and dont stress urself out too much with worry, ur gonna worry no matter what anyone tells you... just try not let it take over you..x.x.x keep in touch and im here always..x.x.x

Im the same way... always concerned somethings wrong! I think its normal. We are just worried mommies. =] If you really cant handle it anymore, call you dr. they'll reassure u and check on baby. =] good luck

Yes it makes me laugh when the baby kicks the cats too : ) They don't seem to mind too much though. They love snuggling up and the female cat finds it a bit disconcerting that this big belly is in her way. Good luck with your little girl xo

I feel YOU! I've always been a Packers fan and I'm lucky I got to see Favre play in Japan at the Tokyo Dome while I was living there! I am going to miss him!!!! ;( And I'm glad his last season he made it to the END -- ALMOSSSTT!!

WOW! Women from all over the world on this site and I find a Wisconsin Packers Fan! I will miss Brett Favre as well! What city are you from? I am from Franklin.

Baronsmom - Thursday, 6 Mar
HI. Maybe my poor sad Lions will have a chance now =)

happymama2b - Thursday, 6 Mar
I'm a Bills fan - being from WNY and we are doing our baby girls room in Buffalo Bills:) You should do a Packers nursery! I bet the stuff would be easier to find! I bet they even sell Favre wall clings:)

I had the mass email thing happen to me once too! I was SO pissed! Have your doctor write a note that your having major edema and you NEED to wear proper footwear. Is it possible your boss doesn't know your having this problem?

Rachel918 - Monday, 3 Mar
I just read your post... That stinks I would have a one on one with my boss if I were you, and say hey look if your going to single me out when you know my condition to begin with then you can go buy me new shoes that actually fit!! I dont work in corporate america anymore, but I completely understand the swelling and would be very pissed if I were you too. Sorry to hear.. I hope it all works out:)

I pee in a cup, get weighed, blood pressure checked. Then the Dr. comes in and asks how I've been feeling. I tell her. She listens for the heartbeat and I leave.

happymama2b - Friday, 29 Feb
My appts are the same as Baronsmom...seems like a whole lot of nothing unless they do a sonogram...then it is worthwhile:)

Baronsmom - Friday, 29 Feb
Hi, My OB appoinments usually consist of Wait in the waiting room forever =) Go do the pee test, Get weighed, Blood pressure check and then listen for the heartbeat. DR feels how high the Uterus is. This next appointment I have the Glucose Blood test where you drink an AWEFUL drink and then have your blood drawn. I think he will then get out the measuring tape any start measuring belly.

Im right there with you on the paranoid/neurosis stuff. I never in a million years would have thought pregnancy was this nerve wracking. You are not alone :)

maebabyjune - Friday, 22 Feb
hehehe.. yeah my baby is being a brat.. but ever since i turned 21 weeks baby has been more active than usual.. thankfully during the days also.. i think baby is sleeping when i sleep. ha! ;)

araya-sunshine - Thursday, 21 Feb
Yeah, it's normal this early. With my first pregnancy I didn't feel my daughter much in the last month because she had no room to move around. So, don't be alarmed.

angelbabies14 - Wednesday, 20 Feb
its normal not to feel a lot still this early on some women I talked to still haven't felt the baby at all. My little angel has been kicking up a storm for weeks so we are the lucky ones. I thought about that this morning cuz I hadn't felt my little one move then by late afternoon the punching and kicking hasn't stopped.

ukdutypaid - Wednesday, 20 Feb
hi there, sometimes the baby can move towards the back or even the placenta gets in the way so u cant feel the baby move... but please if ur ever in doubt, contact someone..x.x. good luck

ourlovetoken - Tuesday, 19 Feb
Ahhh...I am so glad you think that way. I have two spoiled, nonstop terriers and for nothing in the world i would get rid of them..It is not their fault Ive let them do as they pleased for this long...:)
Congrats on your little one and keep up the great work :)

shk0910 - Tuesday, 19 Feb
Yeah, I feell ike that ALL OF THE TIME. You are not alone. It's like I can't be happy. I'd rather be grumpy.

ukdutypaid - Tuesday, 19 Feb

1stbaby81 - Friday, 15 Feb
I think I am retaining water. I have noticed that I am getting larger in areas that don’t make much since...like my knees…Very odd! What are you doing your water retention? I figured I would need to stay hydrated and limit my salt intake. I hope all is well with your pregnancy.
