Thursday, 24 July i called them and they gave me my docs pager number and my doc said since i was haing both back and front contractions to come in now. so we went to the ER and I was contracting. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions. and this morning I noticed that I lost my mucus plug. well some of it. But I think it was because they checked my cervix. Thank you for telling me to call the baby line. scorpgrl20 -
Thursday, 24 July My kicks are always on the right side too...The baby kicks there so much I think she is bruising me :(

Thursday, 24 July My doctor was able to tell the position on the baby by feeling.....but i already had an idea because i feel lots of kicks in my ribs and to my left side and down low it's mostly just a pressure feeling. And sure enough doc says baby is head down with his or her back against my right side. scorpgrl20 -
Thursday, 24 July The midwife always can tell where the head is by feeling but I have no idea what she is talking about. The only way I knew the baby was head down was because the kicks are above the belly button and the hiccups are down low. jadarae -
Wednesday, 23 July i never went in but I have been having constatn lower back pain, and contractions every few hours. My husband wants to take me to the ER today after work, but I dont think that their is a need to go. mamatobee -

Saturday, 5 July If you're looking at my 3/4D picture, look for her hand and then maybe you'll see it better..her hand is covering her face-it's almost like she's saying "no pictures please". lol jesstew -

Wednesday, 25 June I think that your number of appointments is normal, at least for where I am. Last pregnancy I almost never saw a doc. This time I seem to see them a LOT, but it was bc of all of the complications I was having.
if there aren't any problems then I think 4 appointments by now is normal, but at 32 weeks they see you, then again at 34, then 36 and then every week after that until baby has arrived.
Hope this sets your mind at ease.
take care, E-C-L jamie -
Tuesday, 24 June I was asking why the line would be so dark when I'm still on my period. breezy99 -
Tuesday, 24 June I usually have seen the doctor once a month up until my 27 week appointment and then it was 3 weeks. I just went to my 30 week appointment and now I go every other week until week 36 and then it's every week. That seems to be the norm for everyone in my area and girlfriends with normal low risk pregnancies. I have one friend that is more high risk because of her age and she has had problems so she pretty much has had an ultrasound at every appointment. I have only had 2 and am due one more at 36 weeks. I would question your doc sometimes they do it different depending on what insurance you have. It's sad that ins. co. run our lives. Hope that helps. Good Luck. adriennella -
Monday, 23 June You were right. There was nothing to worry about during the GD test. Thanks for your response. tracmac -
Sunday, 22 June Hi Tove, it is just water really, but not water water. I am not aware of any odor, but it can stain. Thats why you hear of people having to throw out mattresses and couches and have upholstery replaced in cars etc. hollyg -
Monday, 16 June Thanks for the tips! I went shopping and didn't pay attention to the "Baby" clam part! I bought some ocean clams, they only have about 4% DV of iron, versus 90% DV in baby clams. Oops! Oh, well, I'll get some more soon! Thanks again! adriennella -

Thursday, 12 June I am a very emotional person anyways beside being preggo. I haven't been crying alot, which really surprises me. However I do find myself going from being happy to really nervous about having a little one. I have never been in the hospital overnight and the whole labor thing makes me scared. I also just came to terms that I am now going to be responsible for a life besides my own and my animals. Its all very emotional but I am sure when the little one gets here it will all be forgotten!
Hang in there! brittg -
Thursday, 12 June Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone with the crying. I cry non-stop lately. I can see a commercial on TV and the water works don't stop. My husband just sits there and hugs me, it's all he can do!
