Well first off my name is Treasa and i have a wonderful finace named jeremy. we are expecting are first baby in may. we are both way excited. I cant wait to be a mommy.
Today is October 3 I go for my u/s tommorow and i am hoping and praying for the best. The first time i went all we seen was the sac and now we are going back to make sure the baby is okay and to see the heartbeat. wish me luck everyone.
Today is 17th of November went to the doctor last wednesday and they said that everything is going great and that the baby looks good it was moving around and sucking its thumb and waving it was so cute. try to find out if it was a boy or a girl but it wouldnt move to show us so we have to wait till our appt in december to see. I cant wait to hold my little bundle of joy.. we are both way excited..
Today is December the 13th i go to the doctor tommorow to find out if i am haveing a boy or a girl. It will be my first appt. with my new doctor here in south carolina. So wish me luck because my doctor back home wasw wonderful i really am going to miss him. i just hope this one is as nice as him and caring. well the baby kicks alot now especially in the morning when my finace gets up to go to work and i wake up at 4 in the morning. well i will put an update tommrow telling you what the doctor said..
Today is Jan 2nd : we went into the doctors for an appt and we found out what we are having at it is a wonderful and healthy baby Boy!!!!!!!!!!!
Feb 4, 2008: I went to the doctor last week to take the gluose test and everything went great i passed. The doctor said the baby was going great and that i had gained 7 lbs in a month. So i am getting really excited about my baby comeing i cant wait to meet little Christopher. March 25, 2007: I went to the doctor today the baby is doing ok his heart beat was 150. The bad part of the doctors visit today was that i have been haveing contrations which i thought where just braxton hicks and really werent the baby is at a plus 2 station and i am 2cm dilated i have to go into the hospital at 4 o'clock today and get steriod shots for the baby lungs to develop. and i am on bedrest i have been for the past 3 weeks. So i am just taking it easy and hoping and praying for a healthy little baby boy. April 27, 2008: I went to the doctor last tuesday and everything is going great i am still 5cm dialted and 80-90% effaced i have been like this for 3 weeks now so me and my finace are just patiently waiting for our little boy to come. the doctor said that is he doesnt come before the 6th that we will be induced on the 7th at 5am. I go for my last doctors appt on wednesday. I am so excited to meet my little boy. Pregnancy Survey | |

We live in Mt. Pleasant, (Charleston). I went to school in columbia and with all the asphalt around that city is realllllly hot! Stay cool during the summer! It's not easy there. =)

Oh my
I am glad you are feeling much better... I haven't been on the messenger because every time I am about to log on the little one begins stirring lol.. It is extremely hot out here and the air conditioners have not come on yet I am so upset because we pay so much rent and don't get what we need to stay comfortable in our home.. I have to feed my daughter laying down because we both get hot , sticky and sweaty when I feed her any other way.. at least we are laying down with a fan blowing on us.... is that the side effect of the reglan? Oh wait you said you are allergic to it.. would you have to take something else or has your supply come in enough? How is breastfeeding? Ahriana gets her shots this week I am nervous because they can get really cranky when that happens..I might give her a bit of Tylenol before she sees the doc..I heard this helps keep the fever down... I will try to hit you up on the messenger when I can.. I know these little ones have us all tied up.. keep in touch babes!

This will sound funny but beer helps increase milk supply. Not hard alcohol just beer. I did research on increasing my milk supply and that was one of the suggestions. It also said that babies show a preference to the flavour of breast milk after beer has been drank. If you do drink a beer you have to wait 2 hours before feeding again though so do it right after the wee one eats

Oh one more thing feed your baby when he wants to eat.. let him drink at the breast as long as he wants because he will single through each boob to your body to produce more.

Hey you! How are things going? I just read your post in the one month forum... you can increase your supply by going to the health food store or vitamin store and get some nursing mom's tea or mother's milk tea... you can even get fenugreek tablets I believe they sell those at the pharmacy ... with the fenugreek tablets you are to take 600 to 700 milligrams start with the low dose and increase if you need to.. usually they say you knw when to back off when your urine begins to smell strong and your milk smells like maple syrup... and between those methods drink lots of water about a gallon a day ..eat like you are pregnant ( which breastfeeding will make you hungry) and drink chamomile tea.. it aids in the production of your milk.. this helps your milk come in faster than usual.. I have tried the nursing mom's tea when I was sick and had to back off that stuff worked for me and I always drink chamomile tea on a daily basis... hope this helps! happy breastfeeding

Just to add to this, I was told to take 4 capsules of blessed thistle 3 times a day. I don't remember the dosage of fenugreek seed anymore (it comes in liquid form). My partner bought these things at the health food store and I took it a few times to let my milk come in and it worked like a charm. Feed lots too and don't give up!

Sometimes I get a tingling pain from time to time.. I have heard and read that it can be from the vessels inside getting stimulated.. as long as your nipples aren't cracked and burning you are fine..just pump when you become full even after you have fed him and still full you want to pump till your breast are soft or "comfortable" to your liking.. I went to the ER yesterday because my baby was not herself and screaming at my breast when I tried to nurse her.. I thought I had thrush! but finally the outcome was her not latching correctly which broke the suction causing her to swallow air.. so I got her mylicon gas drops and she is an angel now! No thrush thank goodness.. the way I have read on it and other women's reaction that infection has to be treated like a crime scene... if the pain continues talk to your doc.. they have a better knowledge of what it is..take care and enjoy your week
