Well, let's see. My husband and I have been married for 7 years and started trying for a baby last April. After 6 months we decided to stop 'trying' and just have fun and, low and behold, we found out we were pregnant in October! Isn't that what always happens? We are as excited as can be, but I'll also admit, scared out of our wits! I'm glad that I've found this website as all of your comments have really helped set my mind at ease and has helped me realize that I'm certainly not alone in all of this!

January 10 - I just had my 12 week check up....12 weeks and 3 days and everything looked/sounded great! i have gained about 4 pounds. I go back on February 11th to find out what we are having! Can't wait!

January 28 -- I had an appointment today because I'm starting a new job next Monday and didn't want to take any time off immediately for Doctor's visits. They pushed my anatomy scan back to February 25th! HOW AM I GOING TO WAIT THAT LONG??! Oh well, at least I will be 20 weeks then and they will be able to tell us what we are having for sure. Feeling great in week 15!

February 25 - We had our big ultra sound today and it's a girl! Fenley Katherine weighed about 12 oz and was 8 inches!

Wait to go to the hosp. until you can't walk or talk through them. If they don't hurt, they aren't doing any serious or quick cervix changing! They'll just send you home anyway, and it's more comfy to labor at home.Hang in there! At least there consistant! Hopefully they'll start hurting you later

while we should never take anything with a grain of salt with pregnancy...my sister was 2.5 cm and 75% effaced for 3 weeks prior to her due date and she still went a week over due-and this was her 2nd kid! Some people go faster and some stay where they are for weeks. Just keep hoping for the on-time delivery and you should be good

Thanks for more info on the car seat base...Manufactured is what I meant. It actually turns out that only one of my bases is recalled..so thanks for the info on the serial #'s...I didn't think to look them up before!

Hi! I saw your post on what bottles to get and I originally registered for Avent but when I looked at this link someone posted, there is a PDF at the bottom that shows the Avent BPA recycle codes or whatever and apparently Avent doesn't think that BPA is a harmful chemical...so I took the ones I had back and am going to get the Adiri ones. They are BPA free and best for women breastfeeding. www.adiri.com They sell three sizes at BabiesRUs but they are pricey $12.99 a bottle. I looked at them at the store and they really do have the look/shape more closely to a breast than others. Hope this helps!

i would not rush out and buy a huge quantity of one specific bottle. Get one of a couple different options. With my son i had avent bottles, he hated them, gerber bottles, he hated them, playtex bottles, he hated them, and the regular cheap ass bottles, he LOVED THEM! So you should grab a couple choices and then see which one the baby like as they are all different and some babies dont like them. ;)
Hope that helps.

I've also heard Dr.Brown's are great, I also love avent if you have a hard time finding dr.browns. My daughter breastfed and drank from the avent with no problem and wasn't gassy (but every baby is different). :)

Hi...I was told today by my doctor to get Dr. Browns bottles. They are the best!

peytonsmommy22 - Saturday, 31 May
Dr. Browns bottles are the way to go...especialy if you dont want a gassy baby. Even though every baby is gassy, Dr Browns decrease it by a lot =)

That's the same bedding I got for my little girl! And I first wanted a white crib (the one we got instead is cherry). And the walls are light green, which is the focus color I want to use for the nursery. You must have wonderful taste. lol. :) &&&& love.

Hi Tremelsong I have been having the same exact aching feeling that you have, and it makes me walk weird too! I guess it is normal, on the weight and pressure of the baby now. If you find that it could be something else please let me know.
