ITS A BOUNCING BABY BOY

MY BIRTHING STOREY

I WENT INTO HOSPITAL ON THURS 17TH JULY TO BE INDUCED - 1 WEEK OVER DUE - I WAS INDUCED AT 7PM AND WENT STRAIGHT INTO LABOUR AND WAS 4CM DILATED BY 8PM!!!! THIS WAS FANTASTIC

HAD A NIGHT OF CONTRATIONS - PAINFUL ALL IN MY BACK - I WAS RECHECK AT 6AM AND HAD ONLY DILATED BY ANOTHER 1 CM - SO 5CM - THEN CHECKED AT 8AM AND WAS ONLY 5 1/2 CM BUT MY CONTRATONS WERE EVERY MIN...

WENT OVER TO DELIVERY WARD AND THEY LET MY CARRY ON TILL 1PM AND SAID I WAS NOW ONLY 6 CM - SO I WASNT DILATING QUICK ENOUGH - I WENT IN THE WATERPOOL - AS I WANTED A WATER BIRTH BUT MADE MY CONTRATIONS 10 TIMES WORSE - COME OUT AT 3PM AND WAS RECHECKED - STILL ONLY 6CM

DOC COME ALONG AND SAID I WILL NEED TO GO ON A DRIP TO GET ME DILATING QUICKER BECAUSE IT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO BABY AND ME - PUT ME ON THE DRIP AND IT WAS AGONISING - SO THEY GAVE ME AN EPERDURAL AND I COULDNT MOVE - HAD TO HAVE CAFFITER FITTED - YUCK..

ANYWAY CARRIED ON WOTH LABOUR TILL 7PM AND RECHECKED I WAS FINALLY AT 9CM - SO THEY TOLD ME TO STAR PUSHING AT 7.30PM - WITCH I DID - THE PRESSURE IN MY BUM WAS UNREAL - I WAS EXSULSTED TOO....

BY 8.45 BABYS HEART BEAT DROPPED AND I HAD 7 DOCS AND 3 MIDWIFES IN - THEY SAID IF I CANT GET HIM OUT BY 9 I WILL HAVE TO HAVE C -SECTION - I GAVE IT EVERYTHING I HAD - EVRY CONTRACION I DONE WHAT I COULD - BY 9.05 THEY SAID BABY HEART BEART DROPPING COME ON TRING YOU CAN DO THIS - I PUSHED AN PUSHED

THEY SAID WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TO CUT YOU - I SAID WHATEVER GET MY BABY OUT - THEY GAVE MY A INJECTION SO I DIDNT FEEL THEM BUT ME - BUT THE NEEDLE SNAPPED THEY MANAGED TO GET IT OUT - BUT DIDNT HAVE TIME TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE - SO THEY CUT ME FRONT TO BACK WITH NO PAIN RELIEF I FELT EVERYTHING ----

ANYWAY ITS NOW 9.15PM AND DOC SAID I GOT ONE MORE PUSH AND IT HE DOESNT COME OUT C-SECTION - SO I GAVE IT EVERYTHING AND HE WAS BORN AT 9.18PM.

HE WASNT BREATHING - I WAS CRYING AND SHOULTING - MY PARNER SAID HES DEAD??? THEY MANAGED TO GET HIM BREATHING AFTER 10 MINS - IT SEEMED LIKE A LIFE TIME...

HE IS HERE NOW AND SO LOVELY - IT WAS THE HAREST THING EVER BUT WORTH IT - HE IS MY MIRICLE - THEY SAID WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM,,,

I FEEL LIKE SUING THE HOSPITAL AS IT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE WE HAD SO MANY PROBS - THEY KNEW HE WAS BIG AND SHOULDNT OF LET ME GO THAT FAR.

MACKENZIE WAS 11LB AND THE BIGGEST BORN NATUALLY AT MAIDSTONE HOSPTAL IN 11 YEARS

O I REALLY HOPE THEY PLAN TO INDUCE YOU SOON! WITH LIL MAN BEING THAT BIG, I CAN'T IMAGINE THEY WILL LET U GO MUCH FURTHER! I'M ALSO AT THAT POINT OF NO SLEEP WHICH I NEVER HAD BEFORE. I GOT 3 HOURS TOTAL LAST NIGHT...AND THAT'S NOT CONSECUTIVE...IT'S GETTING ROUGH. GETTIN IN AND OUT OF THE CAR IS ALSO A TASK! LOL. COUPLE MORE WEEKS/DAYS AND THIS WILL ALL BE SO WORTH IT! LET ME KNOW HOW EVERYTHING WORKS OUT AT THE DOCS...I'LL UPDATE AFTER WEDS AFTERNOON AND LET U KNOW HOW MY VISIT GOES...

Happy Birthday for yesterday!! So sorry to hear ya not feeling good tho. I have been sore down below too and the most simple things are so hard like walking, and you wana see me trying to walk up stairs its like impossible. I have no advice, I have a midwife app on wed so ill be talking to her then about all my pains and stuff. The heartburn is unreal now too, 5 times i got up last night to get a drink of milk and it didnt even seem to help, when that has always worked for me. Think we are all at that stage now where we dont wana be preg no more, WE JUST WANT OUR BABYS and to feel normal again, lol. I will let ya no what my midwife says to me and we can compare notes.

Keep ya chin up will all be over soon, maybe even sooner for you!!

It is hard for me to lift me legs up to get into my SUV also, nevermind watching me try to get into my husbands truck! My car doesn't have a/c and my husband wants to bring his truck to pick me up from the hospital, I told him he will need to bring my son's step stool if he expects me to be able to get in. I am on my way out the door to my weekly doctors appointment. Happy Belated Birthday!

WOWWWWWWWWWW 8LB my lil one still hasnt reached 4lb they have me i twice a week doin ultra sounds checkin on her,they put me thru the mill with worry.i think she'll b fine though.
so glad ur lil fella is comin alone and literlly comin along soon.wowim 36 weeks today there still tellin me im 33 which is drivin me crazy.
happy b.day babe it was my b.day last week i was depressed out of me head jst went to c sex in the city.

not sure if your b hicks will bring on labour, dont ask me , i was 10cms dilated and not having any contractions work that out..

anyway he will come soon enough, then youll be typing with one hand like me ha ha...freddie was 8lb 14oz on tues, he is doing well...yum hes gorg lol

8 pounds already, wow. I have another u/s in just over week to check for size but they are debating if I will make it that far as I started dialating abut 3 weeks ago and I have already lost my mucous plug. We are all getting so close now!

8pounds...wow his a big boy! i have no idea on weight or size, my lil girl has her head down low so the midwife puit it but not engaged!! im jealous :) no signs as of yet, dont think ive even had braxton hicks??

LOL, wow he is a big lad. Im so jealous your going to get him early. Dont think my baby is anywhere near engaged, he is head down tho. I had a scan last week to see if my placenta was still low and it isnt so i can have a natural birth and im made up about that. I think i have been having braxton hicks too, not too bad tho. Ive been on the trampoline and playing on the wii to try make him move down but hes having none of it, lol. I will prob go over my due date i did with the other two

Aww, thats a shame bout ya bit of bad news, at least your baby boy is doing good tho. He is a whopper, lol. I got told on thursday im measuring abit big, think she said round 30 weeks. Id love if i got told i might have my baby early im not enjoying this pregnancy! Keep your chin up it will all be over soon and you will have a gorgeous son to hold and love. xx

Oh My Gosh girl!!! Measuring 35 weeks!!! Well then I guess he is healthy enough now! 5 pounds!!! You are so lucky to just skip all of these weeks!!! I've still got about 10 more to go. Great to hear all of the wonderful news, and the bad news is unfortunate, but I know it will all work out for the best. I'm praying for you and your son, and I know that everything will be great, as it is all in God's hands. Keep me posted sweetie...I miss hearing from you!

As far as I know besides measuring 2 weeks behind, he is fine. He measured right on track at 20 weeks so I am not sure what the problem is, although they spent alot of time looking at his heart at my last ultrasound. As for me, my cervix is at 1.8 cm so I have been put on bedrest with bathroom privileges. Now if I could only get my husband to understand what strict bedrest is compared to the modified bedrest I was on before. He doesn't even bother to put his dirty dinner plate into the dishwasher. Uggg.

my babe is breech but i sware to god she jst gave me some boot into the belly think she hit me with a crow bar it made me jump havent felt one that strong.
feck give up wrk u did well to get this far.i want to to to give her a chance to get fat but ill keep goin to nxt appointment

i cant beleive your luck, i hope it doesnt get any worse from now on, i will keep my fingers crossed and hope you can get through the rest of the pregnancy without anything else happening...so whats the chances of them starting you off early have you got any idea of when this would happen if needed....atleast hes a good size and head down ready for delivery... so back to your scan, was he awake and moving around...does he look like you or daddy??? tell me all about it, did you get loads of pictures?????
