ITS A BOUNCING BABY BOY
MY BIRTHING STOREY
I WENT INTO HOSPITAL ON THURS 17TH JULY TO BE INDUCED - 1 WEEK OVER DUE - I WAS INDUCED AT 7PM AND WENT STRAIGHT INTO LABOUR AND WAS 4CM DILATED BY 8PM!!!! THIS WAS FANTASTIC
HAD A NIGHT OF CONTRATIONS - PAINFUL ALL IN MY BACK - I WAS RECHECK AT 6AM AND HAD ONLY DILATED BY ANOTHER 1 CM - SO 5CM - THEN CHECKED AT 8AM AND WAS ONLY 5 1/2 CM BUT MY CONTRATONS WERE EVERY MIN...
WENT OVER TO DELIVERY WARD AND THEY LET MY CARRY ON TILL 1PM AND SAID I WAS NOW ONLY 6 CM - SO I WASNT DILATING QUICK ENOUGH - I WENT IN THE WATERPOOL - AS I WANTED A WATER BIRTH BUT MADE MY CONTRATIONS 10 TIMES WORSE - COME OUT AT 3PM AND WAS RECHECKED - STILL ONLY 6CM
DOC COME ALONG AND SAID I WILL NEED TO GO ON A DRIP TO GET ME DILATING QUICKER BECAUSE IT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO BABY AND ME - PUT ME ON THE DRIP AND IT WAS AGONISING - SO THEY GAVE ME AN EPERDURAL AND I COULDNT MOVE - HAD TO HAVE CAFFITER FITTED - YUCK..
ANYWAY CARRIED ON WOTH LABOUR TILL 7PM AND RECHECKED I WAS FINALLY AT 9CM - SO THEY TOLD ME TO STAR PUSHING AT 7.30PM - WITCH I DID - THE PRESSURE IN MY BUM WAS UNREAL - I WAS EXSULSTED TOO....
BY 8.45 BABYS HEART BEAT DROPPED AND I HAD 7 DOCS AND 3 MIDWIFES IN - THEY SAID IF I CANT GET HIM OUT BY 9 I WILL HAVE TO HAVE C -SECTION - I GAVE IT EVERYTHING I HAD - EVRY CONTRACION I DONE WHAT I COULD - BY 9.05 THEY SAID BABY HEART BEART DROPPING COME ON TRING YOU CAN DO THIS - I PUSHED AN PUSHED
THEY SAID WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TO CUT YOU - I SAID WHATEVER GET MY BABY OUT - THEY GAVE MY A INJECTION SO I DIDNT FEEL THEM BUT ME - BUT THE NEEDLE SNAPPED THEY MANAGED TO GET IT OUT - BUT DIDNT HAVE TIME TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE - SO THEY CUT ME FRONT TO BACK WITH NO PAIN RELIEF I FELT EVERYTHING ----
ANYWAY ITS NOW 9.15PM AND DOC SAID I GOT ONE MORE PUSH AND IT HE DOESNT COME OUT C-SECTION - SO I GAVE IT EVERYTHING AND HE WAS BORN AT 9.18PM.
HE WASNT BREATHING - I WAS CRYING AND SHOULTING - MY PARNER SAID HES DEAD??? THEY MANAGED TO GET HIM BREATHING AFTER 10 MINS - IT SEEMED LIKE A LIFE TIME...
HE IS HERE NOW AND SO LOVELY - IT WAS THE HAREST THING EVER BUT WORTH IT - HE IS MY MIRICLE - THEY SAID WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM,,,
I FEEL LIKE SUING THE HOSPITAL AS IT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE WE HAD SO MANY PROBS - THEY KNEW HE WAS BIG AND SHOULDNT OF LET ME GO THAT FAR.
MACKENZIE WAS 11LB AND THE BIGGEST BORN NATUALLY AT MAIDSTONE HOSPTAL IN 11 YEARS

Nope :( I had a lot of discharge a couple of nights ago but no blood in it so it looks like i will be waiting for another month or so! lol
I'm getting loads of Braxton hicks also but thats it really....I just can't wait to see my little boy now!!! Aaaarrggghhh!
Are you going to be induced soon? Can't imagine giving birth to a HUGE baby! Ouchy!

hey you....sorry youve been in hosp, sounds like that baby of yours could do with coming right now... i would do the castor oil is not to bad if you only take a small amount, i did it with my last 3 and i went into labour with 2 of them within hours... just do 2 ..5ml spoonfulls in a small amout of coke...make sure you stir really fast and then down it...it wont taste of much and it will be gone in one swallow anyway.....
he is a big boy isnt he ha ha ha....go on take it it doesnt give you the sh*ts if you follow my instructions.... but only take it at night time ok....
freddie is fine, he is 6 weeks old now and weighs 9lb 13oz as of yesterday...he is growing out of all his newborn clothes now boo hoo.... he smiled the other day but yet to do it again....
anyway i drove through larkfield on sunday and i wondered where you lived when i was going through...we went to some fish shop to buy some marine fish, that was ashford i think......anyway feeding time at the freddie zoo so must dash..text me if any baby news ok.......take care x

Well i was induced so no idea on how to bring on the labour!! So pleased he arrived early was sick to death of being pregnant.

Hi luv, oh my god cant believe how big he is, I think they should induce you as soon as poss. Hes a good size and its not fair on you. My last was 9lb 10oz so im praying this one wont be bigger. I dont feel as big as last time. I havnt a clue on how to bring on labour, Ive heard all the usual stuff like spicy food, sex, walking round. Im not sure if any of it actually works tho. Ive also heard about caster oil and I remember talking to my midwife about it and she said its a really dangerous thing to do., No baby news from me, getting lost of niggles and pains down below, just really fed up of being pregnant I can honestly say I wont miss being pregnant at all. Im going to speak to my midwife about me getting the contraception injection pretty soon after birth as it covers you for 3 years. Loads of ppl ive been talking to think im too young to get sterilized even tho Im really sure i dont want no more. Someone also said they dont think there is a doctor who would do it on someone my age so I will wait. Good to hear from ya. Hope ya lil man comes soon for ya xx

Helloooo! Oh my God 9-11 lbs ow! I can't believe it will probably only be a few days before we have our babies that they will hopefully be 'outside' within 2 weeks how weird does that seem?? Absolutely no signs with me just have cramps sometimes but that's already been a few weeks. Apparently sex, spicy food, fresh pineapple and walking can all help things move along naturally but I just go on the basis that the babies are laughing at us doing these things saying you can't make me go anywhere - I'm not ready!

the tipical spicy food ,sex not that any of us have the energy swimmin ,walkin DONT DO THE CASTOR OIL THINGY i heard it doesnt wrk more then it wrk and can make u very sick.11 lb wow my babies daddys sister inlaw had her baby last week 11lb8 scaryyyyyyyy but she was fine.u'll b fine are u gettin the epidrual ur actually a super star if u dont. i was back in hospital 2day my lil one is 4lb 6 but shes steadily growin there gona induce me in 3 weeks they say ill only b 38 weeks but really ill b nearly 41.please god she'll b ok still sayin down syndrom is a possbelity which scares me but all i can do is keep postitive.

What's SPD? Girl I bet you can't wait to have him!! He's already 8 pounds so I'm sure size won't be much of a problem! :-) My appointment went well yesterday...I can induce July 8 if I'd like so we are making our decision soon. Hey hun,
I havent been on here that much since being on my maternity leave. Been going to my antenatal classes which is fun coz i get to talk to loads of expecting mums like me all due around the same time. I have all my baby stuff ready now - just waiting like you. I have no idea how heavy my boy weighs but he is getting heavy down below and can't walk for long periods coz its hurts like hell when he drops his head down! Are you going to be induced soon? What about having a c-section???

Happy Birthday for yesterday!! So sorry to hear ya not feeling good tho. I have been sore down below too and the most simple things are so hard like walking, and you wana see me trying to walk up stairs its like impossible. I have no advice, I have a midwife app on wed so ill be talking to her then about all my pains and stuff. The heartburn is unreal now too, 5 times i got up last night to get a drink of milk and it didnt even seem to help, when that has always worked for me. Think we are all at that stage now where we dont wana be preg no more, WE JUST WANT OUR BABYS and to feel normal again, lol. I will let ya no what my midwife says to me and we can compare notes.

It is hard for me to lift me legs up to get into my SUV also, nevermind watching me try to get into my husbands truck! My car doesn't have a/c and my husband wants to bring his truck to pick me up from the hospital, I told him he will need to bring my son's step stool if he expects me to be able to get in. I am on my way out the door to my weekly doctors appointment. Happy Belated Birthday!

WOWWWWWWWWWW 8LB my lil one still hasnt reached 4lb they have me i twice a week doin ultra sounds checkin on her,they put me thru the mill with worry.i think she'll b fine though.
so glad ur lil fella is comin alone and literlly comin along soon.wowim 36 weeks today there still tellin me im 33 which is drivin me crazy.
