ITS A BOUNCING BABY BOY
MY BIRTHING STOREY
I WENT INTO HOSPITAL ON THURS 17TH JULY TO BE INDUCED - 1 WEEK OVER DUE - I WAS INDUCED AT 7PM AND WENT STRAIGHT INTO LABOUR AND WAS 4CM DILATED BY 8PM!!!! THIS WAS FANTASTIC
HAD A NIGHT OF CONTRATIONS - PAINFUL ALL IN MY BACK - I WAS RECHECK AT 6AM AND HAD ONLY DILATED BY ANOTHER 1 CM - SO 5CM - THEN CHECKED AT 8AM AND WAS ONLY 5 1/2 CM BUT MY CONTRATONS WERE EVERY MIN...
WENT OVER TO DELIVERY WARD AND THEY LET MY CARRY ON TILL 1PM AND SAID I WAS NOW ONLY 6 CM - SO I WASNT DILATING QUICK ENOUGH - I WENT IN THE WATERPOOL - AS I WANTED A WATER BIRTH BUT MADE MY CONTRATIONS 10 TIMES WORSE - COME OUT AT 3PM AND WAS RECHECKED - STILL ONLY 6CM
DOC COME ALONG AND SAID I WILL NEED TO GO ON A DRIP TO GET ME DILATING QUICKER BECAUSE IT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO BABY AND ME - PUT ME ON THE DRIP AND IT WAS AGONISING - SO THEY GAVE ME AN EPERDURAL AND I COULDNT MOVE - HAD TO HAVE CAFFITER FITTED - YUCK..
ANYWAY CARRIED ON WOTH LABOUR TILL 7PM AND RECHECKED I WAS FINALLY AT 9CM - SO THEY TOLD ME TO STAR PUSHING AT 7.30PM - WITCH I DID - THE PRESSURE IN MY BUM WAS UNREAL - I WAS EXSULSTED TOO....
BY 8.45 BABYS HEART BEAT DROPPED AND I HAD 7 DOCS AND 3 MIDWIFES IN - THEY SAID IF I CANT GET HIM OUT BY 9 I WILL HAVE TO HAVE C -SECTION - I GAVE IT EVERYTHING I HAD - EVRY CONTRACION I DONE WHAT I COULD - BY 9.05 THEY SAID BABY HEART BEART DROPPING COME ON TRING YOU CAN DO THIS - I PUSHED AN PUSHED
THEY SAID WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TO CUT YOU - I SAID WHATEVER GET MY BABY OUT - THEY GAVE MY A INJECTION SO I DIDNT FEEL THEM BUT ME - BUT THE NEEDLE SNAPPED THEY MANAGED TO GET IT OUT - BUT DIDNT HAVE TIME TO GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE - SO THEY CUT ME FRONT TO BACK WITH NO PAIN RELIEF I FELT EVERYTHING ----
ANYWAY ITS NOW 9.15PM AND DOC SAID I GOT ONE MORE PUSH AND IT HE DOESNT COME OUT C-SECTION - SO I GAVE IT EVERYTHING AND HE WAS BORN AT 9.18PM.
HE WASNT BREATHING - I WAS CRYING AND SHOULTING - MY PARNER SAID HES DEAD??? THEY MANAGED TO GET HIM BREATHING AFTER 10 MINS - IT SEEMED LIKE A LIFE TIME...
HE IS HERE NOW AND SO LOVELY - IT WAS THE HAREST THING EVER BUT WORTH IT - HE IS MY MIRICLE - THEY SAID WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM,,,
I FEEL LIKE SUING THE HOSPITAL AS IT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS SIZE WE HAD SO MANY PROBS - THEY KNEW HE WAS BIG AND SHOULDNT OF LET ME GO THAT FAR.
MACKENZIE WAS 11LB AND THE BIGGEST BORN NATUALLY AT MAIDSTONE HOSPTAL IN 11 YEARS

most of the people i speak to on this site have gained 1 1/2 to 2 and a half stone so far. all my friends who have had babies gained between 3 and 4 stone - i think only wags gain 1-2 stone lol

i havent really been weighing myself - but i had a medical about 3 weeks ago and i'd gained about 2 stone!! its sooo showing on my face (double chin kicking in not impressed) - im hitty missy with the eating - some meals im soo healthy others im not - i just cant be strict on myself like i used to be able to. i figure what will be will be and i'll just join weight watchers once he's popped out.

Aww poor you working! Well you wouldnt want to be me either coz today is packing day. A maxi dress is like a long summer dress, I have one already not sure how they will look with a bump tho. The christning isnt for one of mine its my b/f cousins baby, imagine my waters going in middle of church, lol that would be so funny. I actually went over with both mine, 4 days with first and 2 days with second, so not too bad really but going over is the worst because by that point you really have had ENOUGH of being pregnant. My waters always go at silly times too, Like i wake up through the night and thats when they go, wish its a better time this time like maybe dinner time, lol. I will get b/f to take some belly pics when we get back and you can have a look. I feel huge but not as big as with my last, so im really glad bout that he was 9lb 10 born, he was huge and so was i. Bet your counting down the days till you finish work, then you can get loads of much needed rest. xx

I got the same blood, I gota have those injections too. I get mine the end of this month. I got them with my last son too, they hurt like crazy!! I actually fainted once getting my blood took, OH THE SHAME, lol. The midwife went running out to get me water. It sounds mad but if i look at the blood coming out it feels like they are taking all my blood, and i have none left, lol.
I got a christning on the 1st july, can you imagine how big i will be by then, and it could be hot too, so let me know where you get your tent coz i will need one too. Seriously tho i was thinking of getting a maxi dress coz they are cute and should cover my bump but im only short so i dunno!!
Babys are real expensive, I thought i was lucky coz i have all the big stuff from my last son but ive still gota spend so much.
Ive put my pj's in a bag thats going to be my hospital bag, but thats as far as i have got so far. All i take is pj's and nightdress, some always, deodrant, perfume, sleepsuit set for baby, and some going home clothes for me and baby. But I never stay long in hospital so if you will be staying over you will need allot more like shampoo and stuff. I stayed in for 3 days with my first and i actually took in a suitcase, lol. So you must be normal, eitha that or me and you arnt normal, lol.

Aaaah so you chose Mackenzie, what a cute name. Yeah ive started the nursery, the walls are light blue on top and dark blue on bottom, going for a nautical theme, cant wait for it to be finished. He also has a wardrobe full of clothes, ive made myself stop buying now till he is born, lol. Still gota get car seat, pram, and i want a travel cot for in the living room, I decided to get a travel cot for downstairs coz im scared my youngest might hurt the baby by accident given half the chance. Have you started decorating yet? If so whats your nursery going to be like?? I got my date for my third scan its on the 3rd of july, thats to check if the placenta has moved i dont think it has yet as the baby is really high and is never low in my belly. How is your baby doing? Is he still doing well? Its been good to talk again, i have missed my little pregnant chats, lol. xx

nighty dressing gown nursing bras and one comfy outfit for me during the day...slippers towel toilet bag with all my smellys s- towels toothbrush etc
baby has 3 babygros incase of wee/poo lol 3 vests a sicky rag and bibs, a blanket and a hat, an outfit for home but i have left that in the carseat for roo to bring in when its time to come home...oh nappies and a pack of wipes.....eeerm i think thats all i put in my bag

bet your not as big as me... im huge and feel like a whale ha ha...i have got everything ready now and even my hospital bag is ready, i was going to chuck it in the back of the car so its there ready and it will get it out my bedroom.. maybe only 3 weeks to go if like the last 3...hoping anyway.....
yes its the hols and yes i am knackered with the other 3 running me riot and fighting etc... ill be glad when its monday lol
glad your getting on ok and that you have done your room its nice when you get things ready isnt it, i have done all my front and back garden, painted the kitchen... bought and put up a trampoline in the garden yet they havent really played with it that much its been so wet and horrible hasnt it... anyway must go and do tea speak soon ok xx

Hi, yeah im ok, my computer was acting weird for ages, and i couldnt find this website, it looks loads different, lol im so crap with computers and stuff. How are you and baby?? I hardly feel my baby move, b/f only felt him for the first time on saturday night. My belly is huge, and my back is killing, im so over this pregnancy lark, lol. Im sooooo excited we go away next week, will be so good to get away for abit. Seems ages since we had a holiday we couldnt last year because we moved house and got a mortgage so i cant wait. Hope you are well love, look forward to hearing from ya. xx
