Thank you :) the bedding set is from babysupermall.com, the furniture is from simplybabyfurniture.com (free shipping from both!), and we bought odds and ends from target, tjmaxx, burlington coat factory, babies r us, and even the area rug from Lowe's! We just got back from IKEA and bought stuff from there to add...so exciting!! :)

I like the name Imani. Its different and different is definitely good. I really like the name Cadence Renee and i think it might stick. The more my husband and i say the name the more right and real it feels. Wow $300 on clothes huh? I can't wait to go crazy on clothes for her. Actually i'm headed to target in a minute. Maybe i'll see something i like there.

Hi. Thank you for responding to my plea for help! I do try and sit w/her for a few minutes in the morning and get her interested in things before I leave. I also talk to her in the morning before we leave the house and on the way about mommy going to work and being able to buy her nice things and her being a big girl when she gets to school and all goes well until I try to leave. I will continue this approach until a miracle happens. I hope everything is going well with your pregnancy. Thank you again.

I am good thank you, we found out we are having a girl I understand about not wanting the amnio that must be a hard decision. I wouldn't be able to terminate either. The next several months will be hard I'm sure but just remember prayer is a very powerful thing!

So i found out monday that we're having a baby girl. I'm so excited! My husband and i celebrated by purchasing two baby girl outfits. I can't wait to see them on her.

I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you are having. Try to remeber that the testing is not definitive, in other words it doesn't mean anything is for sure. You won't know until you have the baby. When my sister was pregnant with her third boy they told her he was going to be born with Downs-she gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby! Are you going to get the amnio? Really, would it matter? I know it would give you somemore information but no matter what the amnio says you still don't know for sure, ya know? The odds could be much more against you, but I understand thats easy for me to say. I looked a little on the internet about the condition and read that it is not uncommon for unborn babies to have this and that most are born with no abnormalities. Also, that it is usually gone by the time they are born and if not, the abnormality of the heart has cleared up by the time they are five. I will pray for you, and I mean it I pray everyday. Please keep me updated.

I have had a lot of headaches too. I got a lot of headaches and migraines before I was pregnant, I was hoping they'd get better. For the first month or so I barely had any but then they came back in full force. The ob said they may get less as I get into my second trimester, but no so far. Does anything help for yours? Tylenol only helps sometimes and only a little bit usually. My ob rx'd Tylenol 3 but that doesn't do much either. So you've gotten to hear your baby's heartbeat and see him/her? Thats vey exciting. Do you have an ultrasound scheduled to find out what you're having?

is this your first baby? it is mine and my husband and i are so very excited! how have you felt through your pregnancy so far? are you showing yet? i feel like i just look like i'm getting fat rather then actually pregnant. have you felt baby moving yet? are you going to find out what you're having? we find out on June 12-seems so far away! I don't think it's too early. I've been dying to purchase some stuff but am waiting until my 19 week to find out the sex first and then I will go crazy! lol!! But...I have purchased a Kansas City Chiefs NFL bib for the baby. I've tried looking for a some other Kansas City Cheifs stuff too for the baby but not a whole lot of lot. Guess because the Cheifs never do so go. lol! But.....I don't think it's too early at all. Shop to you drop!!! Lol!
