I found out today that we are having a girl too! The whole time I thought it was a boy and I still can't believe it's a girl. I didn't trust the tech either and she too wouldn't say it was 100%. Did your tech show you 3 lines that indicate it's a girl?

From a week after I brought my girl home I had her sleeping from 8-12 hours straight through the night but if you are not quite as amitious as me try not running to feed your baby every time they cry- if they feed to often they are likely to not eat until they are full and then need to eat more and sometimes you just have to let them cry it out- it hurts to do it but you need to- just close their bedroom door after they've been fed and they will tire and sleep- good luck!

LOL. Thank you. I think I get paranoid with all these hormones raging through my body. :)

I completely understand. I do stupid things like read up on umbilical cord accidents etc... until I have that babe in my arms I'll never stop worrying... and probably will find a whole bunch more to worry about after it's born!

jobean38 - Tuesday, 15 April
I"ve been crampy on and off the entire pg. I actually did some research yesterday on it because it was particularly bad and read that in 2nd trimester it's very common. As long as it is not severe and subsides when you lie down it's very normal. My sis is 9mos and said you will feel pulls, aches, pains and cramps from now until the end. It means the baby is growing so it's a good thing!

hello! hope your pregnancy is going well!! i just wanted to let you know that i appreciate your comment - you are so right & i truly believe what you are saying. my husband had been telling me the same thing (lol). it seemed like everything was fine until i started trying (ha,ha) b/c my hormones became imbalanced due to the stress. some dont realize it, but it can happen. as soon as they stop trying that is when they become pregnant. well, i have given it all to God - i have faith that "HE" will make it happen. have a very blessed pregnancy!!! please keep in touch!

bngonzales - Thursday, 10 April
I read your comment on TTC...I was trying to TTC and I knew that when I stressed out about it that it was hindering my chances...we aren't right now but I agree with your comment and that girls that said...who said i was stressing....I think she thinks the world revolves around her because no where in your post did I see you address her! I thought it was funny she was the only one to get offended! Congrats on the prgnancy!

womanoffaith - Thursday, 10 April
I totally agree with your post (15 min ago). It's very true. I just experienced a b/o and my second d/c and I am of the opinion that if it happens, it happens. If it don't well, God is good anyhow.

M.M.Masi - Thursday, 10 April
THanks for the reassuring words. Glad to know I'n not alone. With my first I gained 80 lbs. So a part of me doesn't want to go through that again specially since it took me 5 years to take it off. WIth this pregnancy I've been eating alot healthier and I have less room in there for food. lol. take care.

GloAndSal - Sunday, 6 April
I was actually going to write in my profile as to why, I just havent gotten then time to get on. I love kids so much that I even babysit for free, and I think I'm just scared that if I don't start trying now I wont be able to have kids ever. I dont know I'm just scared maybe, and also a bit confused but I think I know what I want =] I feel like I'm ready. I think I need a big change in my life. I've noticed that a lot of people I know have changed after having their first kid. And its a good change. I just want to be happy like them. Is 19 really a bad age to try? [I'm not asking that in a rude way] =) well ttyl

Hi! I have previous stretch-marks too, and the ones on my stomach are doing the same thing that Lizzie287's are...Plus I'm getting more. It'll all be worth it, though. Good luck! :)

ro - Thursday, 3 April
Hi, about the stretchmarks, I'm a pretty thin person, So with my 1st son I really didn't get any, with my 2nd son I got some pretty dark ones, and They didn't stay dark but they were very light a few years later. With my Daughter, I got even more, and it didn't seem like the old streatch marks, Got dark purple, Just my new ones were noticable. I used that cocoa butter lotion for streach marks, it worked well with my 1st 2 kids.

lizzie287 - Wednesday, 2 April
Hey, I just read your question about stretch marks. This is my first pregnancy too but I also have a bunch of stretch marks from weight gain in the past ... so far all that's happened is my old ones have sort of grown a couple inches, so there's like 2 inches of red and the rest of it is still white-ish. So I don't think they're gonna go purple and gross again. Hope that helps :)

nancy26 - Wednesday, 2 April
Hi Sweetie – I read your comment about your stretchmarks… WOW, but this new site isn’t as user-friendly as it used to be huh? I also have stretchmarks from when I gained weight too fast (the fact that I’ve put on about 35 pounds with this PG so far is not helping either)… and I’m sorry to say it, but the only difference I’ve noticed is NEW purple stretchmarks. My faded ones are still there, and thankfully still faded. They don’t seem to be going purple, but they weren’t to start with. Good luck – pick up some Palmers Cocoa Butter or Bio Oil and slather yourself with it twice a day… should avert the worst of it :(

my-lil-miracle - Thursday, 27 Mar
Ohhh congrats!! I remember when I first felt mine it was at 16 weeks twice that day, but didn't happen again until 18 weeks, and then started getting regular at 19... by 28 week they had gotten so strong it would surprise me and now at 35 they are calming down... So enjoy those kicks lady!!
