Hello, My name is Trisha. I'm married living with my husband in missouri. I have cats and one dog. He is a maltipoo and so cute. I found out in June that I was pregnant! I was VERY happy. This will be my first. IF it's a girl which they think it is.. it will be named kaitlyn or katie. Still working on a boys name. For some reason my other profile I could not log into!! I couldn't keep the name either. So I have to start over again and I will get some pics up soon b/c for some reason it's not wanting to upload them. I got for my next ultrasound on oct. 25th and I can't wait to see what it is. I am a housewife and I make money online , not because we need it.. but just to help out and have more extra money. Update----tomorrow morning dr's appt. I will post how it goes. I love hearing the heartbeat!! I think I will find out my test results too!
Tuesday Oct. 16th-----ob/gyn, heard heartbeat 142, new due date- feb28th. third one! everything seems fine. the baby wouldn't stop moving so we kept trying to follow the heartbeat haha.
going to do an update real quick.. b/c i always get kicked off here and my pages get deleted or password gets changed. i'm 36 wks and at 35 she was weighing 6pds 4 oz. my due date is now march 11th. err. i go tomorrow to see if i'm dialated and i hope i am. i can't take much more of this. thank god it's less than four weeks left.
Omg i have no been on here in forever! well i had my baby girl emma lynn on march 6 2008 and she's the most beautiful thing and she was sooo healthy. i had a c section :( dr said she was too high and never would have been able to deliver her. she just would not drop and kept moving up lol. she was 8 pds 8 oz. the c section was awful! i was so sick right after they pulled her out but when i seen her face all i could do was cry and so did my husband. she was the perfect color and got a 8 out of ten one the apgar! i was so happy. i had about forty ppl in and out that day and didn't get to enjoy it much b/c i was so out of it and hurting. but it was all worth it. i'm just fine now and the diabetes and have left :) she's just so amazing. and my life is so fulfilled now. im' the happiest i've ever been with her and my husband in my life. of course i do get stressed but i'm celexa for that lol.

Feed her during take off and landing and keep a pacifier in her mouth for the duration of the flight. I did it for my daughter and she didnt make a single sound during the flight. Good luck

As long as they have good head control it isn't a problem. Isaac has been in a stroller without car seat since he turned 3 months. He loves to see the world and play with his toys! Try it, and see how she feels.

I believe that as long as they can support their head you can put them in the stroller minus the carseat. You can control the recline of the stroller so your daughter does not have to sit straight up for an extended period of time. My daughter HATES being pushed around in the carseat...she can't see the world so I either carry her in a sling facing outward or now put her in her stroller facing out (no carseat)...She's 4 months old.

thank you for your encouragement. It is a family memeber taking one of the kittens. He is the momma cats favorite one though. We are keeping the other one. I know she is going to cry and cry for him. I wish I had a way to explain to her he's going on Monday so she could prepare. I just couldn't imagine if someone told me Sam had to go because he was ready to wean! I'd be devistated.

Sunscreen ~ most bottles say 6 months plus. I asked the Ped and he said just be sure to use 50 spf at least for babies and still avoid as much exposure to the sun as possible. That may be hard to do being in FL though! I also found some great sunglasses at Target that he doesn't mind at all and you can also find hats that are UV protection rated. It was super hot here this weekend and we put a couple ice cubes (big ones) in a cup and Riley loved licking on those. I think it helped him stay cool without giving him too much water. another idea is one of those hand held fans, I know how much Ri loves it when I blow on him so that might be something to get. Have fun!

um once for now but when he turns 4 months for suree i want to try and give his 2x but i think at 4 months u can start solid food like greens and what nott soo il ask my doc on a schedule feeding like cereal in the morning then alternate with the formula then afternoon get him on the solids and the so forth

That may be it... I have tried to get on the floor with her, but she gets even more frusterated. I bought this mirror activty thing that they recommended for tummy time and she doesn't even like that. I can't force her, but I don't want to halt her development either. She should at this point be able to lift her head up don't you think?? I will keep trying I guess...that is all I can do

fruit arent really good this early bc their sweet... u first start on cereal then greens, then the oraange ones and fruits are very lastt bc ur baby will almsot get addicted to the sweetness and not want anythig else

Ugh my son is still on the slow flow, and he is 12 weeks. We use Dr Browns stage 1, but even after they have been used for a while, the hole wears too big and we have to replace them. He also takes that long to eat. He will choke on stage 2. Oh well, I suppose he will move up when he is ready, but it takes forever! BTW, I am going to add you on myspace ;)

Hey girl... I had the same problem wswitching to the medium flow nipples... i use the playtex dropins... i would switch back n forth between the slow and medium then he got the hang of it... he drinks 6 ounces in about 10-20 minutes depending on how hungry or distracted he gets... but i do LOVE the drop in bottles! hope this helps

Well that's good you don't have to get rid of your cat, that would be so sad! Caden had a cold when he was four weeks old, same sort of thing, poor lil buggers! He got over it pretty quick though, hope your bubs gets well soon.

ya she could get a cold this early... for relief they say to give the drops like you are doing and go into the smallest bathroom in your place and turn the shower on hot and let it get all steamy in the bathroom then take her in there for a few minutes it will loosen stuff up and make her breathe easier... he also told me to use a humidifier at night time in his room if he needs more relief

what makes you think she is allergic to cats? My doc said if you have animals in the house for the first year of a babies life it helps prevent allergies and asthma. I have a cat and david gets congested quite often in the night and mornings and so do i but i have tons of allergies so i asked the doc if he could be having allergy problems and he said he is too young to have airborne allergy problems just yet... just thought you would want to know... but i know every dr has their own opinions
