Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Thats how my problems started. i was referred to a specialist because she was measuring small.Come to find out my amniotic fluid was low at 5.1cm last week. Today they measured 3.1cm. So I am in the hospital being given fluids and steriod shots in case i deliver early. If my levels dont increase that is my dr. next plan. Definately rest and fluids is what i was told as well. So rest and take care of yourself!!

Congrats on the pregnancy! During my U/S scans they've been telling me that my little guy is weighing a bit smaller than the average, but when I got measured last week I was right on target. Unless they detect a real problem, I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi, congrats on your pregnancy. My friend and I were pregnant at the same time and she got told that her baby was small. I was told that mine was fine, when they were born her baby was actually heavier than mine by 3oz. She now also has a 6 month old boy, and again she was told that she was having a small baby and had to go for tests. However he was over 7lbs. It got my friend really worried but in the end she had nothing to worry about because both of her baby's were a good weight and perfectly healthy
