Hello! So, this is my first pregnancy. I found out on April 10th because I had a dream that I had a positive pregnancy test. I wasn't due for another 3 days, but something was telling me to take a test. I thought I was completely safe from getting pregnant because we took a Morning After Pill on April 1st. Well, jokes on me and my Plan B pill did not work. But that is totally fine! We are so stoked!
Has anyone had birth control or emergency contraception fail you?

The first few weeks, I did not believe I was pregnant. I had about 7 pregnancy tests in my bathroom telling me otherwise. I had to go on tour with my band (my husband plays in too) at the beginning of May. May 1st-11th. It was Vegas to Seattle...It was rough. Not only was I cramping and having weird brown spotting for 10 days, but I was playing these dive smoke filled places with a bunch of drunk dudes. There were knock outs and riots, but I managed to keep it together. I was also the designated driver that whole time. Thats a first. At least I got to wake up every morning feeling 100%!
My fiance and I also had a shotgun wedding in Reno during one of the tour stops! It couldn't of been better. I didn't have any time to freak out about a wedding. I suggest those kinds of weddings.

When I got back from tour, I had a ultra sound scheduled. I was really nervous because I thought I may have even miscarried without really knowing. Well, instead I got to see the baby's heartbeat at 173 bpm. He or she was 8 weeks and 5 days. My due date was Christmas and now it is December 19, 2008! I bet you anything, this poor kid will be coming into this world right on Christmas...We'll see!

I am now 13 weeks pregnant and have tours scheduled in mid July for Spain, Amsterdam (oh thats gonna be weird sober), and England. I also have another tour scheduled in Japan in early September. I don't know. That may be too much. Did I mention that I'm the drummer? What do you think...is it a go? or a no?

Well, this is where I am at the moment. I have been wanting to keep some kind of journal during this whole time.
We can't wait to find out the sex!

good morning ladies..today is the day that find out the sex..lol..i got up this morning at 4 and had to go the bathroom and thought that my bladder was going to bust..But went back to bed and that didnt last that long because the kids where in are bed..so we are getting the kids ready for school and taking the girls to my husband grandparents..appt is at 830..im starting to fill my bladder up..what fun...have a good day!!!

Hi all,im doing a little research on how to conceive a girl(if its possible) as my partner and i want another baby and we will probably try next year sometime!
I was wondering to those that have had a girl,did u do anything in particular? eat anything?particular sex position?haha!
As some of u know i have a son who is 10 months old,and i would loooove to give him a sibling! especially a sister! Of course i will still be happy if it were a boy(which i think i will have) anyways if u know anything please let me know! :-)

good morning ladies..havent been on that much ...husband went deer hunting which i cant stand it..But in 2 more days we get to find the sex of the baby..well i have to wait for christmas..Oh i got the H1N1 shot with no mercury in it..my arm isnt sore at all..I talked to 3 different Docs about the shot..But everything is going good...well have a good day!!!

I have a question for you guys. My cousin just told me she is 4 weeks and 3 days pregnant, due on July 27, 2010. Her HCG Blood results were 112, the blood test was taken even before she missed her period, her docs said it was low, and today she will find out what her 2nd test numbers came out as. Her doc told her it should have been anywhere between 5 to 456. Does 112 sound low to you guys even if it was taken before she even was due for her AF? Thanks, Dana

Ladies, thank you for the advice and comments on the teeth subject of Jade. Lol, to Cheekybee, thank you for your advice, lol, and even if i'm in South Africa, we really do have dental peds here, hehehe :-) Anyway, girls, i just can't imagine a 22 month old with FILLINGs and CROWNS? I mean it's milk teeth, don't they like fall out after 3 or so years?? And no, i can assure you guys there's no genetic problems with teeth in my family and my teeth is fine, i have no fillings and no crowns, but BD has got like two fillings. Guys, i do brush her teeth (under heavy fighting and yelling from her), but i just cannot believe that she might need fillings or crowns at this age, it's just sooo sad! Please, the rest of you, go to my poll about Jade's teeth and please tell me if that would really be neccessary. I mean i'm going to take her to a dentist Paedi, but God forbid the poor kid to get adult procedures performed on her teeth! What happend to baby teeth that will fall out before 6 or something????

Hi ladiez! Thanks for comments on my new blog, it's really good to be back! Ye, i'll take my time with the new guy mamies, no worries, i learned my lesson with my MR Y encounter, hehe, so i made sure that i was 100% willing to get to know the new guy. His name is Dirk, and he's just a sweety. I forgot to mention that he lives about an hour away from me at the moment, with his kids (and ex) living in the same town. He lives in SOuth AFrica now, obviously because of his children that he has with his SA ex wife here. He left on Friday to visit the Netherlands for two weeks and i really miss his presence. Anyway, ladies, why do i get an itchy feeling now, that i will be havin numerous blogs on his kids and ex wife(most probably vent blogs?), Geez, i hope not, to give u guys a flavor of what she's like: He took out a restraining order against her because she came to put up a show at his front gate AND wait for it---- wait for it----- she stopped his ex girlfriend on the road, ye, she blocked off her car, took pictures of her and shouted, "You are sleeping with my husband!" Lol, you understand now why i am expecting fireworks? The kids knows that i exist, he showed them pics of me, but they havent told their mom yet, as (according to him), they know what not to say in front of her. Anyway, ladiez, watch the blog space, i just can't get rid of this Silence-before-the-storm feeling. Then, just a quick question? JAde woke up the other night and cried for two hours, she told me her foot hurts, and she kept pointing to it and steering my hand to it? So now i'm wondering, is she injured? Because she walks perfectly fine and she doesn't seem to experience pain when i fiddle or massage it? What i did notice that night was that the area under her foot, just below the toes (i think the ball of the foot?) where kinda swollen? I really donn't know, should i take her to the doc for a scan?? Till later, mamiez! Love, Jadestar. PS: I'm even more broody for a baby now, then before, but i just got my new boobs!!! LOL, ye, ima post dem pics real soon, i swear, i will!
