Hi again! I just decided to finally give a little update on this profile. I have 1 baby boy named Waylon. We live in San Francisco and our band just got back together. The band broke up in Spain in July 2008 when I was pregnant. Now, things are rolling again and the Waylon is in tow. I would like to have another baby but getting to travel again and play drums I am just not ready to do it. I was an only child and I would like Waylon to have a bro or sis to hang with.
So far this year the band has played South By Southwest in Austin. Phoenix is coming up, a tour from ATL-NYC and then Japan at the end of May. I have to say that things are very good right now. I was reading my last update (June 16, 2008) and it said I was going to Japan then, but I missed out because the band broke off and then the next year Waylon was only 5 months old and being a new mom was A LOT harder than I thought. So to all the ladies out there that have multiple kids...I give it up to you and especially the single ones. How do you do it?!
Other than that, I used to be a Paramedic in the city but I believe I got terminated for getting pregnant and having a baby. I can reapply this month, but I am so over it. When I got fired being a real Paramedic I got hired being a fake Paramedic background acting on the NBC show Trauma. Now that that show got canceled, I don't have any job and it is actually harder. Being a SAHM is actually very difficult and tiring! OK...gotta make some breaky!

Hello! So, this is my first pregnancy. I found out on April 10th because I had a dream that I had a positive pregnancy test. I wasn't due for another 3 days, but something was telling me to take a test. I thought I was completely safe from getting pregnant because we took a Morning After Pill on April 1st. Well, jokes on me and my Plan B pill did not work. But that is totally fine! We are so stoked!
Has anyone had birth control or emergency contraception fail you?

The first few weeks, I did not believe I was pregnant. I had about 7 pregnancy tests in my bathroom telling me otherwise. I had to go on tour with my band (my husband plays in too) at the beginning of May. May 1st-11th. It was Vegas to Seattle...It was rough. Not only was I cramping and having weird brown spotting for 10 days, but I was playing these dive smoke filled places with a bunch of drunk dudes. There were knock outs and riots, but I managed to keep it together. I was also the designated driver that whole time. Thats a first. At least I got to wake up every morning feeling 100%!
My fiance and I also had a shotgun wedding in Reno during one of the tour stops! It couldn't of been better. I didn't have any time to freak out about a wedding. I suggest those kinds of weddings.

When I got back from tour, I had a ultra sound scheduled. I was really nervous because I thought I may have even miscarried without really knowing. Well, instead I got to see the baby's heartbeat at 173 bpm. He or she was 8 weeks and 5 days. My due date was Christmas and now it is December 19, 2008! I bet you anything, this poor kid will be coming into this world right on Christmas...We'll see!

I am now 13 weeks pregnant and have tours scheduled in mid July for Spain, Amsterdam (oh thats gonna be weird sober), and England. I also have another tour scheduled in Japan in early September. I don't know. That may be too much. Did I mention that I'm the drummer? What do you think...is it a go? or a no?

Well, this is where I am at the moment. I have been wanting to keep some kind of journal during this whole time.
We can't wait to find out the sex!
