Hi my name is Laura,Im 29 and married to Sgt. John Russell who is currently deployed.I joined this site so i wouldn't feel like I was going through my pregnancy alone and so far it has been great.I am patiently waiting for my husband to take his r and r for christmas even though our baby is due april 20th.I found out we were expecting 5 days after he deployed so far its been real lonely not getting any kisses or hugs but I have been fortubate to talk to him almost every day.The picture i took was from last christmas while we sat in a jacuzzi out in the snow.I will post prego pictures soon and I hope to meet a lot of great friends to talk too...xoxo

No the baby is just in the regular nursery. He's staying in there because his saturation level changed for a few seconds the day after he was born so they just want to make sure he's okay. He has been fine since though. A little bit of jaundice but that is common in a 35 week old and he had photo therapy treatment which brought it down. The hospital I delivered at has a routine procedure to keep most premature or preterm infants for about 4-5 days. Hopefully he'll be home this weekend! :)

Hi ladies, just a quick update:
Thank you to all that replied to my distressed blog:) All os well now, i mean i still worry about how things will work out with the new baby but not as much, i think that the pregnancy hormones just makes everything worse.
I am really looking forward to how gabriella will be, i mean every day marco does something cute! His first word was on saturday mirning! Not, mamma or dadda, no baba (baby in afrikaans) now he says it all the time! so cute!
Just want to say i love ya'll so muych, thanks for not judging me ever when i complain...you always understand and know just what to say:)

Hope ya'll have an excellent week! Yay! Im halfway through my pregnancy!!!!

good morning ladies!!! last night my daughter was hurting my low back badly..I think that she was in a weird position..darn little kid..so i called my mom and told her and was like maybe she is going to come early or something..I told her that she better keep her little butt where its supposed to be..lol..when is easter?? isnt it this month??
