Hey my name is Brittany, I am 21 years old, and i just gave birth to a AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL baby boy James Keenan Turner, he is going to go by Keenan because his Daddy's name is James as well!!
I absolutely LOVE being a Mommy, it is the best feeling in the WHOLE world, and i could not ask for a better baby!! He is Now 7 weeks old, I have no idea how that happen!! Time seems to fly these days!! My days are filled with running around all day every day with just enough time to change diapers make bottles and give baths to my little man and myself!! He has within the last couple weeks started sleeping through the night, which excites me to no end, i had forgotten what it was like to get a full night of sleep, I found the trick to him, he didn't like his bassinett anymore so we tried his pak'n'play that has the attachment so he isn't sleeping all the way down in there but he is close to the top, and seems to love it! Anyhoo we are heading to Florida tomorrow (Tuesday, June 3, 2008), and i know what your thinking "your taking an infant to Florida?" yep sure am we will be driving it and not leaving my hometown til 10 o'clock PM so it won't be that bad he will sleep the whole way there im sure! We are only looking at a 12 hour drive so it should be a fun trip!! We are going with my mom little sister(13 years old) and little brother(11 years old), my husband will not be joining us this time as he will be working 12 hours a day while we are away! I was not going to go, but he wants us to get away and have a little fun, and he laughs at me cos even tho i run around all day long i still want to go places when he gets home, so he said that this will be a good chance for him to get rested up and for me to get out of the house!! I will let you all know how it turns out!

Birth Story:
I went in on Tuesday April 8th for my regular doctors appointment and he checked me and i was at 2cm and he told me that any time the following week he would induce me because i was so swollen.. So I told him to go ahead and plan on Monday April 14th! Anyhoo! We had to be at the hospital at 7am to get checked in and everything, So we got all checked in waited around for a couple hours before they started everything. It was about 9 or 9:30 am before they got my I.V started, took FOREVER to get my contractions going :/ which sucked, then my doctor came in at about 6 or 6:30 pm to break my water (yeah i know what your thinking, why did he let her go so long before breaking my water, he goes to 2 hospitals where im from and he had 2 c-sections at the other hospital then was on his way to break my water then got called back to the other hospital for an emergency) So he broke my water and said that it would be about 6 to 8 hours before we would have a baby since it was my first baby! So i waited for a little bit then the contractions got REALLY, REALLY BAD so i told them to go ahead and get me and epideral (not sure how that is spelled) so i got that, then it only ended up working on the right half of my body so the guy that did the epi came back in and i told him that it was only working on one half of my body and so he went to get something a little stronger and put it in my thing that was connected to the epi, well that didn't end up working, so he came back in to check on how the shot of whatever worked. I told him not that i was still feeling everything on the left half of my body, so he was all like im really sorry that its not working but i want you to be comfortable so im gunna go ahead and start another one, at this point i was SO sick of people messing with me that i just stared balling and my nurse was kinda freaking out asking me what was wrong, and my husband was getting nervous cause of the nurse and i just looked at him and was like i have had ALL I CAN TAKE, and you better enjoy him as much as you can cause this is the only baby we are having. So the guy came back in to start the new epi then once that one got started everything was great cause he gave me a stronger dose that time so i felt ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL! so i layed there for a little bit watched T.V. for awhile and went in and out of sleep, then they came in at about 12:30 to check me and the nurse was like Oh My Gosh he is right there, so we started counting, and The little guy finally came out at 2:14 Tuesday April 15th! I seriously could not have asked for a more precious baby!! and We are absolutely in LOVE with him!!
