BIRTH STORY

Thursday Jan, 10th I had a doctors appointment at 10:20 a.m. I knew we were going to induce sometime the following week. As I was checked and dialated to a two the doctor gave me the ok to be induced the following monday.. I was so excited to finally get a date picked. As we sat there dicussing this and my Husband and Doctor talking about hunting I think my daughter was tired of hearing it. I was sitting on a bench in the office and all the suddon I felt a warm feeling down my pants. I looked up at my husband and doctor and said I think my water just broke. My doctor looked like a deer in headlights. He asked if I was sure and I said I think so. I'm very wet down there. So He had me go to the rest room and followed me there and sure enough it was my water. I couldn't believe it. I was so nervous and didn't know what to do or say I started to shake. So he said well I guess today will be the day. My husband Was I think more nervous then I was. He was heading out on his job after the appt. so he had to go back to drop off all his orders so that someone else would deliver it. He said that he about wrecked his truck because he was so nervous. It was neat. During this time the doctor sent me straight to the hospital. So I went there and checked myself in and was kinda embarassed by my wet pants. LOL... So they got me all set up and monotoring me everything was going great. Contractions started about 3 min. apart and not hurting more uncomfortable. Around 1p.m the doctor came and checked on me and I was still only dilated to a 2 and still high but dropping. He didn't want to start pitocin (?spell) because my contractions were regular. So as I was walking the hallway which for the one's who's water breaks is kinda uncomfortable.. I was losing alot of water. It felt like I was peeing everytime I moved... :) Contraction were still there, but starting to get unregular. Around 5:30 The doctor came in and checked me and I was around a 3-5. He then said to get started on pitocin to get my contractions stronger. That it did. I started to feel the pain and really hurting. Around 8:30 The doctor came in and checked me again and I was Still only dilated to a 4. I thought she was never going to come. I was getting so upset.... I was hungury, didn't eat that day at all. My labor was going so slow. I was getting very tired. Around 11:30 I was dilated to a 5 and said enough I want the epideral so I can sleep. I think the doctor was happy about that and so was my husband.... It would of been a very long night. So after that I was in and out of resting... I have had a natural birth and happy to say a birth with pain meds. To be honest I wish I would of did the epideral along time ago.... what a great feeling. I enjoyed my delivery. I still felt everything, but it was pressure not pain. Around 1:25a.m the doctor came in and checked me again and told me he was going to have me wait until the next contraction and have me try to push... I didn't know how I was going to do so he wanted to see if I was ready. So I gave it a try to be told to stop........ He about had a heart attack she was right there. He got dressed in 3 min making the nurses rush and get things ready and my husband help him get dressed as he is freaking out. It was so funny. (remember this is a small hospital and most of them are friends with us....) Well she was delivered at 1:29 a.m with one push.... The nurse said I set the record they have never seen that before... I was a little upset because My labors have always been real short too..... She was a bigger baby. 7 lbs and 12.5oz. 20 1/4inches long. She was beautiful... I didn't tear or anything. The doctor was in shock..... I guess that was the best part of labor..... Everything went great and I"m so happy to have my little girl.... Everthing happens for a reason!!! I just look back at the last 2 days and can't believe what all took place. I felt like I was never going to have my little girl and one second changed everthing.... I still can't get over my water breaking at the doctor's office... ha ha.... God bless and good luck to all...

My Name is Nicole (yes I'm a Identical twin), I have been married to Darin for about 2 years. I have two BEAUTIFUL daughters named Paige and Jessa from a previous marriage. Darin and I tried to get pregnant for over a year. It was very stressful. But once we gave up is when it happened.

I'm feeling so much better. I have had morning sickness so bad. I lost 20 lbs in the beginning months. I've been in the hospital due to dehydration. I've had 2 emergency UltraSounds. Still don't know the sex. But all is well now. I couldn't wait until i could eat again and not feel sick,- BRING ON THE WEIGHT!!!!!

Aug. 23rd. 19 wks 4 days. So far still feeling good. I have my next doctors appt. in 2 weeks. My baby has been so active.

Aug. 24th. 19 wks 5 days. Last night I felt the baby really give a kick..It was Awesome. I've been feeling movement for about 3 wks now. So i'm pretty excited with finally feeling it from the outside. Yea!!!!! This is what it's all about.

August 27, 2007 20 wks. I'm so glad to make it to this halfway point. I can't wait to go to the doctor in a week to find out how much I have gained. I'm sure however much the doctor will be happy..>> I'm so glad that I can eat again. If you had bad morning sickness you will understand..;). Baby is moving alot. Not much else. I hope all is well.

September 5, 2007 Just got back from the doctor and he moved my due date up to at least Jan 4th. I gained 7 lbs this month.... WOW.. I'm so happy about that!!! The babies heartbeat was 150-160. I get to go in Next Tuesday to have another ultrasound. I hope with this one we will be able to tell the sex... I can't wait... I can't believe how much better the pregnancy is right now. I will keep you all posted... Have a great one.

Sept. 11, 2007 Had an U/S today and it's another GIRL... I knew it.....I'm so excited. I guess i'm just meant to be a mom of girls.... My husband really wanted a boy, But I think the girl thing will rub off on him...She will be daddy's little girl.... Her heartbeat was 151. She was healthy!!!! Everything looked great. Now I get to go shopping. My girls are excited too!! My 6 year-old doesn't understand why the baby needs to stay in my stomach any longer, She wants her out... It was cute...

Sept.13, 2007 Wow getting bigger and love'n it!!!! My little girl kicks all the time.. Darin and I laid in bed last night and she just kept kicking his hand. It was so Awesome. My girls have felt the baby so many times. I love it when my girls and my husband kiss my belly and talk to the baby... We still can't decide on a name. I guess we have plenty of time. I'm so glad to see my husband excited about his baby girl. I was worried at first because i knew he really wanted a boy.. My doctor might move my due date again...... My U/S came back and said due date estimate was Jan. 12th. I'm measuring bigger than that with everything else. I don't know what he'll do.. My girls were smaller when they were born, they were 6.8 and 6.11lbs. And the U/S was always off... Oh'well. I'm just glad she is healthy and that's all I care about..

I think we found a name for our little girl.

I don't know on the spelling yet, but we agreed and feel in love with the name.

October 3rd. 26 weeks Just got back from the doctor and I passed my 1 hr glucose test.. I was right on the border line but he said that everything was ok.. I gained another 7lbs. I'm happy about that I just hope I slow down now. He said the baby is still measuring a week ahead, but the U/S told him later. He said we will wait until later to decide when we will have the baby. We were hoping to have the baby at the end of Dec. Because I don't want to pay my Deductable on my Insurance again. It's so expensive. I can't believe it starts all over Jan 1st. My due date is Jan 4th or Jan 11th.. That so sucks. It's so far off. Oh' Well. My doctor knows that I will stress about that too.. Insurance companys don't care as long as they make more money........ I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

October 23rd. 29 weeks. I can't believe how time is starting to fly. It seems like my husband and I have to much to do. We are making room in our bedroom for the baby. We built a new house and don't have the upstairs finished so my girls are sharing a room on the main floor and that was the nursery. Oh'well it will get done hopefully sooner then later. I can't believe how good I feel so far. Don't get me wrong I still have my ups and downs. Last week I went to the doctor because of a pain in my stomach and they think it is my gallbladder, I will have to wait until i have a baby to find out for sure. They don't want to do anything until she is born. So I have to deal with the pain that comes and goes. I can't wait until my doctors appt. on the 1st. After that I go every other week. It goes fast after that...:)

Oct. 29th. Sunday around 8:30 I was sitting and begun to get bad cramping like I needed to go to the restroom, but nothing i had pains in my back and then would go to my stomach. It lasted over an hour. They were about 7 min apart. It hurt so bad. I'm still feeling crampy. Not as painful as last night. Today it's more in my back. I go to the doctor Thurs. I hope I will find out what it is... It could be related to what they think is still my gallbladder. Oh'well I guess this is just the fun and guessing game to what could be causing it. If it continues or gets bad again I will call the doctor. I hate feeling like I panic to much so i don't want to call the doctor unless I have too. I hope all is well.

Nov. 1st. Went to the doctor today and He said all the cramping and pain I'm having is strong Braxton Hicks contractions. Wow I didn't think they could be painful. Oh'well I guess I'm glad to know that there is nothing wrong. We did notice that Adyson's heartbeat will start out very slow and speed up. It is normal for this time. She has slowed down on her movements. I'm so excited that I get to see the doctor every other week!!! It's going to go fast:) I can't wait!!!

Nov. 7th. 31weeks5days. I have this pain in my pelvic area where It hurts to walk. I've looked it up and everything i read says it's normal. Wow, I never had this with my other two. Other then that I'm still having alot of Braxton Hicks. I can't believe how much my husband has helped around the house and even cooking. Last night I was sitting because I hurt so bad I couldn't move. He brought me food and covered me up. I was so shocked. It was great. I know that deer season starts this weekend so I know he has something up his sleeve. LOL. I hope everyone has a great day.

Nov. 30. 35 weeks. Wow I can't believe we don't have that much longer. I'm getting stressed out about it too. I feel like I don't have anything ready. I've been sick for the last week and that sucks. My doctor won't let me take anything and I feel like my ribs are breaking every time I cough. Just my luck to get sick toward the end of my pregnancy. LOL... I'm still having alot of Braxton Hicks but Adyson is still high. I'm losing alot of my plug which doesn't mean anything just that I'm stretching. (I've been losing it for about 3 weeks now.) I'm also getting stressed about Christmas coming I have so much shopping to do and don't feel like doing it. URGH.... My husband says it's no big deal, but to me it is!!! Oh' Well. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I know I did.. I only gained 2 lbs... I thought I gained alot more. Ate too much.... But so good.

Jan 4th, 2008 Wow!! I can't believe I'm still pregnant. Today I had a doctors appointment and he is now going to change my due date to the 11th. I guess that is fine. There is nothing I can do. My little girl is being stubborn. My cervix is just not wanting to do anything. I guess when she wants to come she will. I made the mistake by thinking I was going to be early since this is my 3rd and my last one came 4 weeks early. I got my hopes up it's my fault. Oh well. I hope she comes soon. God Bless.
