This is my second pregnancy, my first was of Fraternal twins (girl/boy). so Naturally i am totally terrifed that this pregnancy will be twins as well (i honestly want the easy route this time) i had a ultra sound on Friday January 11 2008 So i know now that its only one! (hopefully)

Four Tiny Hands
Twenty fingers and twenty toes
Two pair of eyes and a set of cute little noses
Two hearts beating in unison
form this double bouquet of mother's roses.
Two hungry babies
Two piercing screams
Two perfect little answers
To all of our dreams.

Telling the Our Parents!!?!?!

I have known for quiet some time that I was Pregnant, I decided that I (we) should wait until after Christmas and the Twins Birthdays (and mine) to let people know that we were yet again expecting. I didnt think that we were going to get a good reaction from either side. To my surprise we got mostly all around good reactions from both sides. The last time around, we really didn't get to tell many people because that work was done for us. You see, Calvins younger sister and my younger sister were friends at the time, and well when calvins sister found out, she told my sister that then got on the hotline and told my mother and father before i even got the chance, this really really made me mad, so this time i didnt want to tell anyone until I told my parents that way the surprise couldnt and wouldnt get spoiled. Needless to say, i think the one person that took the news the hardest was my father who questioned it a little bit, but soon got over it.

Our First Ultra Sound was January 11th 2008

So I went to the Ultrasound, and I assume it went well, ill know on Tuesday when i meet with my Doctor. But the Tech. guy told me that he is almost 99% sure its only one! Good news for me to hear, this is gonna be a breeze. Im soooo Excited now! its a really bad picture, but i guess you cant have it all right?!

January 14th 2008- Telling the Twins

Its funny how kids just know some things. Calvin and Carla always play the baby game, one day she is the baby and calvin is the daddy, the next day hes the baby and she is the mommy. They are now 4 and are observing all kinds of things that I guess we dont relize all the time. Get this. my 4 year old Daughter asked me today why I was getting fat (she is very out spoken these days), so I naturally had to sit both of them down and tell them that they are going to be a bog brother and sister. They took this news as no surprise at all. Their only question was is it a Carla (girl) or a Calvin (boy). I told them that I didnt know yet, and carla asked if the baby was crying right now. So to a certain extent they get it, but not all the way, which is expected. Oh and Carla has decided that the baby is going to live and sleep in her room...she didnt look to impressed when I told her that the baby would have to stay with mommy and daddy for a little while...

Febuary 10th 2008

So I have Decided that i will return to work for a little while to keep my income and get some more hours for Mat leave. The twins are no so happy about this, but to tell you the truth, im a little excited...some time out of the house (without the little darlings) and they go back to their social life at the baby sitters...anyways im starting to show now, and every time I try to sleep, my tummy becomes a jungle gym, which makes me not wanna sleep, because it feels so cool, Calvin finally was able to feel the baby move the other night. he wasnt sure if it was his hand that twitched or the baby..lol i assured him that it was the baby...anyways i dont have another doctors appt until Feb 19th and then hopefully another ultrasound to let us know what sex the baby is...ill keep ya posted, til then happy pregnancy :)
