Hello! I am a proud mom of boy/girl twins Isaac and Olivia!! My husband and I had been married for four years when we started trying to conceive. After a few minor issues, we were ecstatic to find out that we were pregnant! Then... at the first ultrasound at nine weeks we found out that we were having TWINS! After a very uneventful, dare I say easy, pregnancy I delivered two beautiful babies via c-section at 39 weeks. On April 12, 2008 we had Olivia Alison, 6lbs 8 oz and Isaac Wayne, 6lbs 6 oz.

I read this website the whole time that I was pregnant and now that I am back to work, sometimes I have VERY slow days, I decided to join the discussions!

Do you have issues with making your baby take Zentac? Mine was on it but he would make himself to throw it up each time.

Also, does barium casue tummy issues? Mathhew had pooped 3 times today and had 1 really bad cramp (I was burping him and all of the sudden he got tensed and screemed, later he would hide head like he was scarry before passing gas).

This is totally new to us...

Sorry no updates I have been super busy lately! I hope the book works well for you, we are doing great with it. She does sometimes wake up an hour or so early, I usually try to get her to go back to sleep or if it is more than an hour early I will give her a snack bottle of 1/2 oz and put her back in bed. Good Luck! Keep me updated on your progress!

That sucks! Braxton is happier in the morning also. Usually, when I lay Braxton down by himself he will rub his head and attempt to suck his upper arm (too funny to watch) He doesn't really fuss or anything. Sometimes he might, but most of the time I lay him down when he's drowsy not all the way asleep and then I will pat his belly and he will go right to sleep. So I guess I'm not as bad off as it seems to be! He probably really would go to sleep on his own. Here lately though he has been the worst sleep fighter ever!!!! I swear. It's horrible. He was not like this before. So, that got me thinking that he might actually be working on some teeth or a tooth! He likes to 'bite' everything. Constantly sucking on something. So usually I have to soothe him somehow and it's usually by rocking or going outside. He loves to be outside. Oh, and he is rolling over finally. I didn't ever think he was going to! He started grabbing his feet about a week ago and then he figured out he could roll, well that's all he ever does now!

Hey!! I wish I had enough guts like you do!! I just can't seem to let Braxton sleep in his own room. I'm horrible! I do have him napping in his crib though. So I guess that's a start! This weekend I am going to start letting Braxton try to fall asleep on his own instead of me rocking him. I don't know how well it will go because he likes to be cuddled. I don't know if I will be able to do it or not. Sometimes he does go to sleep on his own and other times he wants to be held. So I'm confused. My mom called me earlier and said that she thinks he might be working on a tooth! I did notice that his bottom gum was white. and that would explain the terrible fussiness that we have been going through the past week or so. Also, he has been spitting up a lot more than normal. So don't know what's up! Hopefully, your un-swaddling will go well! I will definitely keep you in my thoughts!! Like I said before Braxton never liked to be swaddled. He hates blankets on him. If I put one on him he will kick until he gets it off. It's funny to watch! How did your picture session go the other day?? Hopefully good. I just got mine back finally from Olan Mills. Your babies are just too cute!

My little one was tongue tied at birth and she wouldn't latch on. The day after her birth the doctor cut under her tongue he just did it didnt give her any setadives. And she was gone out of my room for 5 mintues and brought back and she didn't cry and was fine and didn't even bleed at all. She is now 5 months old...

That's weird! Isn't it funny that this website is for people all over the world, but we live in the same area, have children around the same age, work at the same place, and have husbands with the same name! Too strange!!! LOL My hubby is the same way. Except now when Braxton cries I usually let him handle it, but just kind of coach him along. Show him other ways to do things, etc. It seems to be helping. At least I hope so!!!

I want to get Braxton's picture taken a lot too. Hopefully I can and will! Hubby is at home right now with him and he was screaming bloody murder. I think he was hungry. Hubby said "gotta go!" LOL Poor guy. He gets stressed sometimes because he feels like he doesn't always know what Braxton wants. But I told him to have confidence in his self that he can figure it out and he will be fine. So here lately he's been doing pretty good! I'm kind of shocked! He was fantastic right after I had Braxton and then as Braxton got a little more demanding Jon would freak out about it. But hopefully we are through that! Not freak out in a bad way, but just get nervous I guess.

I'm working in between replies!!! LOL That sounds like a good deal too! Olan Mills doesn't have any sitting fees either which is great! This past time we got a family photo, mommy and me, and daddy and me pictures done plus the ones of Braxton alone. I took my mom and MIL last time and they bought a crap load! We each bought some and I guess we are going to share them. I wish they would come in soon!!

Their picture is still cute! I am the same way about taking pictures. I take one of everything! My husband does too. Olan Mills has this thing called a Super Saver plan and it was only like $14.95 and you get a free 8 x 10 for a year everytime you go there. The lady that took the pictures said we could come there everyday if we wanted to to get a free 8x10. She said even if we didn't buy other pictures we would still get the 8x10. I thought that was a pretty good deal! I haven't gotten the ones I bought back yet. So we will see. On the computer they turned out really good so hopefully they are! The chick that took them got Braxton to smile even though he was fussy so I thought that was good. I think her name was Amanda. I did it at the Kmart on the west side. Just a thought. I know hubby and I got pictures taken at Sears too when we first started dating and they did a good job. You just can't quite go wrong with Sears too much. I like them too. But I had a coupon for a free picture package at Olan Mills so that's why I went there! Can't pass up free stuff!!

Too funny! Braxton usually does it in the morning forever it seems like. I just crack up at him. He makes me laugh so hard sometimes. I really need to start video taping him or something. I am sure going to miss these days when he's older! I take tons of pictures of him. Even had his picture taken at Olan Mills a couple of weeks ago. He did ok. He was kind of cranky and wanted to sleep. Another thing he does is when I say "give mommy kisses" he opens his mouth real wide and I put my cheek up to his mouth. it's so cute. I don't know that he really knows what's going on, but it's fun to think so! He's probably just thinking oh goody something to suck on! LOL It's seems like he's sucking on EVERYTHING! If I put him up on my shoulder he sucks on it, he sucks on his fingers, even now he's trying to get his blanket up there to suck on. I hope he doesn't start that!! He will be a little Linus.

I know that's how I would be too. Braxton's room is just right across the hallway. But I feel like it's forever away!!! I like to be able to just peek over and see that he's ok. Braxton is a noisy sleeper sometimes so when he is I don't get a whole lot of sleep. If he was in his room, it might solve this problem!! I think maybe he is like Issac. He knows mommy is right there and if he grunts loud enough and kicks everything that I will pick him up or pat his belly. Little stinker. He's too funny. He's learning that he can make a coughing noise so he is constantly doing that. If I look at him he just smiles. He did love Holiday World. He enjoyed looking at everything. He was sooo good there. I was happy!! Braxton loves to be outside too. We took him swimming just once and he loved it too! It was funny to watch him.
